    Braun, Dr. Alicia D.
Dr. Braun fit me in immediately and performed the surgery without any pain. It was a large, deep wound and after the sutures were removed there is barely any mark. She is very personable and professional. I don't know what the surgery costs because I haven't received anything from my insurance company yet.

    Fuchs, Dr. Aaron E.
All my visit's with Dr. Fuch's are excellent. His staff are all friendly and competent, and always willing to help in any way they can if something urgent or painful needs attention, If you can get in to see him because he is always very busy you will be made to feel very empowered, respected and validated. I hope he remains in practice for many more years to come and continues to show his son how to run the practice as a business man, and continues to gain the experience and confidence that has served his father well throughout the many years I've been his patient.

I saw Dr. Joanne Simpson. I was seen 40 minutes after my scheduled appointment. I felt Dr. Simpson did a very thorough body scan and a great job explaining the diagnosis and treatment. I had to come back for a skin biopsy. (Wish this could have been done on my first appointment, especially since I waited an extra 40 minutes). On the second appointment, they were about 20 minutes late. Frustrating but not much you can do.

This is my second yearly visit for a skin cancer checkup. The exam seems thorough and my questions were answered clearly. I also appreciated that Dr. Trout did not attempt to and quot;selland quot; cosmetic procedures (which I have found other providers in the past can't quite resist when they see my freckled and lined skin). The practice seems well-organized and I appreciate the yearly reminder to schedule the next appointment.

    Fuchs, Dr. Aaron E.
I like Dr. Aaron E. Fuchs very much. He's friendly and he's a good doctor. He's very thorough and checks my whole body any scalp for any skin irregularities. He removes brown spots when I ask him to, to prevent anything pre-cancerous from forming. He removed a little spot from the top of my nose and I had no scar afterwards, at all.

    Fuchs, Dr. Glenn H.
My experience with Dr. Fuchs was poor, at best. Honestly, I am surprised that he is receiving such positive reviews. He is very brusque and entirely too quick. He spent very little time with me and barely even looked at the growths that I was pointing out. I had a growth on both my forehead and my scalp. He took a look at the scalp and said it was nothing. Recently, I went to see another dermatologist who said that I should and quot;immediatelyand quot; have the growth removed by a plastic surgeon. I had it removed and it turns out that it was basal cell carcinoma. So, thanks to Dr. Fuchs, and his rush to see as many patients as possible, the cancer grew for over a year untreated. He also removed a small growth on my forehead, which, after a year, still hasn't healed. Now, I'm afraid that he misdiagnosed it as well.
Besides the misdiagnoses, I don't see the appeal of Dr. Fuchs. He has no bedside manner and spends little time with his patients. I would recommend finding someone else.

    Braun III, Dr. Martin
I rarely go to the doctor and had never been to a dermatologist until recently and had a very poor experience. Needing to go back I checked Angie's list and picked someone with great reviews. When I called in I got a very nice person who answered my questions, took my info and provided me with info to complete paperwork online. I was also surprised when they were able to get me in the following day.
I arrived, was greeted by two ladies, one of which was incredibly friendly and went out of her way to be pleasant and happy. They already had my paperwork and I was asked to fill out one additional form. The office was under construction, a remodel I believe but was clean and quiet.
I was called in very close to my scheduled time by a nurse clarified my info and left me to wait for the Dr. who arrived shortly after. The Dr. asked me questions, examined the skin various times, talked me through it and was very patient. In the end the diagnosis was very similar to my first appointment that went so poorly but we talked through things and came up with some alternate solutions. The first Dr. I had seen months earlier at a different office had spent all of 2 minutes with me and this Dr. took her time and I felt like I was actually a patient. Everyone was friendly and I would absolutely go back. I recommended the office to my wife who regularly sees a dermatologist, good service and friendly people are hard to find.
I have not been billed yet so I am unable to say how the billing will be but the rest of the experience was stellar.

    Rivera, Dr. Michelle A.
It took several calls before I was able to reach the scheduling desk. Because I am a current patient, it was easy to schedule an appiontment. They didn't take my insurance so I do have to do all the paper work. Other docs at the VHC still file the paper, even though didn't accept the insurance. This is a known inconvience. I would switch due to the administrative issues, but I don't go very often.

    Sebastien, Dr. Theodore S.
This doctor seems competent, but I had to wait in an exam room for nearly an hour before he came in. When he did arrive, I felt like he did an adequate but not stellar job. He seemed rushed. Since there were no major issues, i didn't spend too much time with him. Overall, it was good enough that I will return in the future.

    McLean Dermatology and Skincare Center
Dr. Lily is friendly, knowledgeable and thorough.  Her staff is awesome!  They all work hard to make sure appointments are easy to book, on time and they try to make patients as comfortable as possible.  I also appreciated that the doctor did not try to push additional services on me; she was very forthright about what she thought I do and don't need.
