    Jim the Handyman
Service was excellent from start to finish. David was very responsive to questions regarding my proposal and setting up appointment . Install date was on time. Work was completed by Igor and Milton. The result was a beautiful closet which blended with the rest of my finished basement. The look exceeded my expectations

    Phoenix Home Services Inc
Steve and Clint from Phoenix Home Services were fantastic to work with - from start to finish. We pulled estimates from four different contractors and their's was the most competitive by far (beware if you live in Arlington, VA - some contractors will overcharge just because the feel like you live in Arlington and they can get away with it). I appreciated their approach of waiting until all materials had been ordered/delivered and on site before starting; it minimized any delays and speeded the progress of the work. They started the week of Thanksgiving and finished right before Christmas. I was amazed at the pace at which they worked and the quality results. I'm highly attentive to details and was probably a pain in the butt at times, but they always accommodated me. They were on site every day and on time. Dan, the site foreman, and his crew were professional and highly competent and easy to get along with. Additionally, they improvised solutions when confronted with the challenge of dealing with a 90 year old home that helped make the spaces highly functional. They treated the rest of the house with care as they ripped out floor and walls in two different rooms. the project entailed renovating the original small kitchen in a 1930's colonial into an entertainment space (demo and new hardwood floors and wall repair) and renovating the old sun room into a new kitchen and living space (complete demo and reno down to the studs). They installed an all new window configuration, new siding on the outside, insulation, new floors, walls and ceilings including electrical install and plumbing where the was none previously. We could not be more satisfied with the results. A few months after the build, we discovered a minor problem (not related to their craftsmanship) and they returned and fixed the problem as part of their warranty. For any future work (we have a couple projects in mind) we would only hire Phoenix. Highest recommendation!

    Carlos F Painting Inc
He was there when I expected and was very nice all the time. If the job didn't turn out the way he wanted it, he would do it over until he was satisfied and he made sure that I was happy with his work. He not only painted but if there were other items that needed to be fixed, he was able to do that as well. Before every job, he would protect any personal items by covering them with plastic and making sure that at the end of the job, everything was back in it's original position. I think he is one of the best painters in the metro area!

    Phoenix Home Services Inc
Given the urgent water intrusion and mold remediation situation in which we found ourselves, it was a huge relief to find a responsive, knowledgeable contractor who could move quickly and put together a reliable, hardworking crew. The subs whom I met were professional and upstanding; they did good work and could be trusted with a house key. Phoenix completed all work on schedule and within tight time frames. Phoenix is also mindful of details. For example, they made sure roofing nails in the front and back yards were swept up with magnets and that all construction debris was cleaned up and removed. Most recently, when water was noticed seeping into our basement (not a warranty issue), we contacted owner Steve on a Friday. He came out the following Monday morning (after a snowstorm) to assess the situation and called his master plumber Rick who came the same day. That level of responsiveness and customer service ensures repeat business from loyal customers. Also, the pleasure of working with Jose, Paula, and Clint, all vital members of the Phoenix team!

Excellent work, completed on schedule and reasonable costs. Great communication and experience. Would definitely hire again and recommend. Rafael and team built a shed dormer, installed a bathroom, and also renovated an old bathroom for us. Once permits were ready, the whole thing took less than 2 months.

    Potts Brothers LLC
We interviewed a number of painting companies and ultimately decided on Potts Brothers, based on reputation, professionalism during the selection process, and price. They met all our expectations. The painters actually were able to come a few days early and completed the project in less than a day, which included replacing rotted pieces of door frames and front porch side rails and painting our house exterior. We are very pleased with the outcome.

Carlos and his team were incredibly professional and got the work done quickly and efficiently. His price was lower than others, but the quality of work was absolutely top notch. Seriously, I couldnt ask for better quality work. He even went above and beyond by taking care of a few other minor things around the repair area (screwed down a few deck boards that were popping up causing a safety issue for example). I really appreciated his ability to communicate in various ways (email, text, call, in person) depending on what was most convenient for me. Ill definitely be calling Carlos next time we need work done! Hes a true gem!

    Cort Gibson
My roof and gutter needed repair after the windstorm. I contacted Cort. He gave me an estimate of $500. He then asked for $800 claiming that he had misquoted and that "he couldn't just give it away." I told him I'd think about it. He called me several times and sent text messages stating that he'd already set the day aside to work on my house. Against my better judgment, I told him to do the repairs. We settled on $750. Upon completion I noticed the new shingles were completely mismatched. Cort told me that he'd checked with Home Depot and they had assured him it was the right color. He told me that the sap from maple trees had darkened my shingles. He assured me that in time, my shingles would all match. I was confused because I did not have any trees anywhere close to the roof of the house. I went along with it as I just wanted to be sure that the roof no longer leaked. The difference in colors became increasingly distracting. Literally white shingles were added to an almost black roof. After doing some research and asking other roofing professionals it was apparent that Cort had taken me for a $750 ride. More likely that not he used old shingles from another job. Whatever you do RUN from this man. He's a fast talker and a fraud. He knows that I'm a widow and a laymen. He took advantage of me. He'll also keep asking you for more money.

It went really well. He was very careful about prepping everything to not get any paint on my things, he used high quality paint and primer, and the finished job was seamless. It turns out he's done a lot of work in the past as a professional Painter.
