    Because of my fiancee's recent experience with maintenance at Brown Honda here is what she has concluded: 1. Make sure to have a second opinion from a non-Honda auto stop, as Brown Honda is super expensive and tends to replace parts which are almost brand-new. 2. Brown Honda's estimated price is half of what they really charge you at the end. My fiancee bought a brand new Honda CR-V in 2014. It's been almost five years now and the mileage is only 36,000 miles. It is very well-maintained and is parked at night in a roofed garage. She has not taken it out for any long trips, as it has basically been used in the city for daily routines. She has never had any issue with it, as the CR-V has only been brought in for regular maintenance. Not too long ago it started to make extra noise when she drove it before warming it up in the morning; however, if she warmed the engine for 5-10 minutes it wouldn���t make any noise. As a woman she did not want to be stranded on the side of the road, so she brought it to your Brown Honda dealership in Arlington, VA to check out the noise (10/13/18). At first they said they could not find anything wrong with the car, but as she kept insisting there was a noise the mechanics said they finally found the problem. Ken Najiy was her Service Advisor, and he estimated it would cost $1,250 to change the bearings and the wheel plus labor. It didn���t sound right to have this problem at such a low mileage, and she said she should have walked out and asked for a second opinion. Well, on that day they charged my fiancee $621.45 for the parts and told her to bring the CR-V into the dealership the next week (10/20/18) to finish the rest of the process. Astonishingly they came back with an additional charge of $1,519.79! She even didn���t realized they had convinced her to change the tires, as well (and at what mileage should the tires actually be changed? The CR-V's tires didn���t look old at all, but Brown Honda replaced all four tires even though the treads were not worn. They were, in fact, original Honda tires with a mileage of 36,000.)! Understandably she left the Brown Honda dealership in a fury! After that incident she talked to different people ��� especially men ��� about her experience, and they all agreed this sort-of maintenance was not necessary at this mileage. I guess if there was one positive from this visit it was that the car wash was free!! This is going to be my fiancee's first and for sure last Honda EVER! And even though I have been going to Brown Honda for years after what happened to her I, too, will have to look for another place to service my Accord.

    I brought my car to Baird Automotive after having concerns about poor work at the BMW Fairfax dealer. I wanted a shop with experience working on European cars. They found problems the dealer had missed and determined I did not need a $1200 repair the dealer claimed as critical. I was happy with the work and the pricing.

    Had been going to this place place for 20 years. Was run well with integrity while Jim was there. Unfortunately, found out that the new ownership has no integrity and they are crooks. Had a battery replaced and questioned the price of the battery with Kay, the owner, who provided me with the estimate. Turns out that the dealership would have charged me over $100 dollars less than this place. Upon questioning her on this (and showing her the dealership's estimate) She was belligerent, unapologetic and rude. Had been suspicious of overcharges since Jim was gone, but now have proof they are now crooks. Will never be back there.

    On 4/7/18, I bought a 2015 Macan S at Porsche of Arlington with a little less than 30,000 miles, Premium Package Plus, PASM, Bose, Infotainment, Park Assist, Lane Change Assist. I traded a 2012 Porsche Panamera of which I was the sole owner. The buying and service experience at Porsche of Arlington were the worst that I have had since I bought a Ford Escort in the early 1980���s. And, that includes Mazda, Nissan, Audi, Cadillac and multiple Mercedes over the intervening 30 years. It was so bad that I wrote to Porsche NA directly. But, more about that later. The major issue was misrepresentation of the Macan. I asked for a copy of the service records and Porsche of Arlington said they could not get these. I asked when the last oil & filter change had been. Again, they couldn���t provide this. By pure luck, when I looked through the car a few days after the purchase, I found an old dry-cleaning tag with a name and number. I called and connected with the previous owner. In addition to when the car had an oil change, he told me that he had a full pre-paid service for the first 5 or 7 years and that this plan was transferrable at no cost! I called Silver Spring Porsche and they validated this and told me the service records for all work done at authorized Porsche centers were available simply by looking up the VIN. Porsche of Arlington thus misrepresented the car, and this could easily have cost me thousands of dollars if I had gone to them for the upcoming services! The service at 40,000 miles is expensive, often $2-3,000. This shoddy customer treatment was the worst but not the only sleazy behavior exhibited by this dealership. First, the offered trade in value of $20,500 was about $4750K below Edmunds estimate for ���average��� condition and nearly $9,000 less than ���clean��� condition. The reason given was that the CarFax on the Panamera showed multiple owners (as I moved from FL to MA to FL and to VA). It was obvious that the listed Macan S price of $46,265 (about $4000 under the MSRP of $50,199) was designed to attract the unwary buyer. Then, the dealer low-balled my trade-in at $20,500 to make up the difference. This is typical of untrustworthy used-car dealers, but not the multiple Porsche dealers I have had experience with. I opted to have Xpel installed. The Finance Director said I could drop off the Macan on Friday April 13 and pick it up the next day in the afternoon. When I dropped off the car on Friday, I asked the service about pick-up and was assured that I could pick-up the car late Saturday. At noon Saturday, the service department called to say the Xpel had to cure for 48-72 hours and they had arranged and would pay for a car with the local Enterprise rental office. I would have to find my way to the local Enterprise rental to pick-up a rental car. When I called Enterprise to arrange an immediate pickup, I was told that they close at 3 pm on Saturday and didn't have any cars available anyway. This screw up could have been averted if Porsche had provided a rental car on Friday when I dropped off my car or had checked with Enterprise before telling me to come down Saturday afternoon! This was incompetent service that showed a total lack of respect for the customer���s needs! Eventually, I arranged for a pickup from Enterprise on Monday morning, after being without a car for the weekend, and received a Chevy Impala to drive. I didn't spend $50K (with trade) on another Porsche to drive an Impala! When I asked Porsche of Arlington why I didn���t get a Porsche (or Audi) loaner, they said those were reserved for authorized repairs! Apparently, buying a Porsche and spending nearly $2000 to have Xpel installed doesn���t qualify. I wasted a good bit of time arranging and picking up a rental car and driving to the Porsche dealer to get items like a parking tag (which I needed for work on April 16 and 17 and which I had left in my car, since it was supposed to be returned to me on Saturday April 14). Eventually, I picked up my Macan S on the morning of Wednesday April 21. When I arrived, at Porsche of Arlington, I came into the service department, said ���good morning��� to the service rep and told him that I was there to pick up my car. He didn���t even look up and just said ���go to the receptionist.��� There was no good morning, no hello Mr. DePristo, no niceties or civilities at all. I have contacted Porsche USA multiple times about these issues and have been told ���While we take great interest in our dealerships activities, we are not personally responsible for their actions. In your warranty manual, there is information regarding consumer protection laws you can review.��� Porsche USA ���does not partake in retail sales or lease negotiations��� "Any possible resolution to your sales concern would have to come from the dealership directly as they are independently owned and operated.��� Porsche makes excellent cars but it does NOT STAND FOR HONEST DEALING AND GREAT SERVICE.

    SIMPLY THE BEST BENZ SHOP IN AMERICA, NO HYPERBOLE. I THINK SHOP THAT CREATED ELECTRICAL PROBLEM IN MY CAR THAT MITCH CARR FIXED, MET ITS FATE EG THE MARKET SPOKE WELL AND CLEARLY. SHOP MAY BE CLOSED.

The service is excellent, and their honest and high-quality work is what every auto shop in America should strive for. This is one of the best auto service shops you will ever come across. The change of breaks and rotors took approximately 1 hour and while I was there I had coffee and enjoyed their free internet.

    Allison Cruz �� 2 seconds ago I am new to the area and was nervous about taking my car in to a new shop. I am so glad I did and plan on taking in my second car for service. It is not only conveniently located and comfortable waiting area, the staff are very personable, and helpful, from the front office, to the mechanics. They all made me feel very at ease. The mechanics quickly change the oil and updated me on the results of the 40 point inspection. The staff is very knowledgeable and professional.

    Mark and James are both great. They did not try to sell me repairs I didn't need, were very prompt in calling me with updates and when I picked up my car, James went to great lengths to explain to me each of the check engine codes, what he had done to assess problems and what my next steps might be if the problems recurred. They are always very trustworthy and reasonably priced.
