Acupuncture Treatment reviews in Arlington

    Healthpointe Acupuncture & Wellness
    Absolutely outstanding.

Ms Price is a total professional.

Willingly and generously provides time for discussion and understanding the process.

Have had three treatments to date with additional treatments scheduled

    .

Most importantly the treatments work and have for multiple days. The sciatica pain is almost zero.

    Amazing!

Objectively, pain is not completely "out of the picture". If does return.....but at a much lower level than

prior to treatment. Based on experience to date, I expect to have the sciatica issues resolved and plan to schedule treatments to facilitate.

Most highly recommend scheduling Ms. Price as an acupuncture practitioner.

    Excellent experience throughout.
Spouse and I scheduled an introductory session and treatment.
    Totally professional and highly effective.
Provided relief for sciatica related pain along with joint pain.
May have assisted with ED issues. Highly recommend L. M. Price as a therapist and acupuncture professional.
Intro interview and diagnosis was 45 minutes and approximately 45 minutes of treatment.

    Advanced Health Center
I've been to several chiropractors in the past few years. Dr. Ziegler is the best from both a treatment and knowledge/communication perspective. The office and staff are great. It's easy enough to get an appointment and I don't feel like I'm being sped through the assembly line by people who don't know my name. Everyone knows you and you will always know what their strategy with you is.
Most importantly, Dr. Ziegler is extremely knowledgable and can help you to repair your injuries outside of the office as well. He's also very personable.

    Acupuncture & Chinese Herbal Medicine
Although I haven't been to see Kelly in awhile, I did regularly go for

several years. Kelly was recommended to me by a friend and I had never

been to an acupuncturist before. Kelly was very easy going and was very

accommodating. Kelly is thorough, calm and honest acupuncturist who is

really concerned about the well being of each of his patients.

    I

had been in allergy meds for a long time and wanted to be clear of

them. He started me on a acupuncture and Chinese herbal program, which

was successful. As someone who had been in allergy meds for several

years, I couldn't believe that I didn't need to be on them anymore. He

also tried to treat my PMS, but I found this to be a miss. On more than

one occasion, I called him for an urgent last-minute appointment from

bad migraines and he would fit me in early the morning before he had any

other patients or at lunch. His availability is difficult because he

is so popular, so you need to book in advance. But he will try to fit

you in if there's an urgent issue that needs to be addressed, such as my

    migraines.

My husband and I also worked with him when we were

trying to conceive. Kelly took it upon himself to provide the best care

possible and I felt as if he had a genuine, personal interest in helping

us conceive. We finally did conceive and Kelly was genuinely happy for

us. I continued seeing Kelly during my pregnancy and his work helped me

through aches and pains. I actually think that seeing Kelly helped my

son to be so healthy. I sent him and his wife a birth announcement as

well as some questions about some Chinese herbs that I had. His wife was

so nice to call me and congratulate me and give me instructions on the

herbs -- especially what not to take during nursing.

    Unfortunately,

I no longer had the time to see Kelly after having my son as I live in

Arlington and Kelly's office is in DC. However, I did stop by his office

when I was four months along with my second. I was suffering through

terrible allergies and although my OB said that clarity was safe to

take, I did not wan to take unnecessary meds during my pregnancy. I

happened to be in the city and stopped by to ask him if I could have

some herbs for my allergies. Kelly was so happy to see me again and

hugged me. He gladly provided me with the herbs for my allergies.

I wish he had an office in VA somewhere as I would happily go back to see him!

    Godwin, Larry
After several sessions Larry has alleviated the pain in my knee which was contributed to a torn PCL and muscle pulls; he has alleviated the pain in my ankle; he has rectified the many contusions on my leg which were numb and very, very hard to the feel.  The only symptom to date that Larry has been unable to fix is double vision which is attributed to a concussion from the accident. Two neuro-opthamologists have told me that the vision should repair it self, but it will just take time - possibly six months to a year.  Larry has recently started trying some new methods from some recent training. I have hopes that if anyone can help the vision it will be Larry.

    THE TEAL CENTER
The deep tissue massage from Adam was fantastic. Based on my pain, I wanted to try acupuncture because I felt that a massage would not fully address the issue. I then tried acupuncture with Lisa. Unfortunately, it wasn't making immediate changes and I felt that I should make sure the investment was worth it. After finally going to my physician, she suggested that I try physical therapy first. However, my physician was an advocate for acupuncture, but felt that based on my injury it may not do the trick. The Teal Center was great all around. Easy to work with and I liked the practitioners very much. I will return in the future.

    WHITE LOTUS ACUPUNCTURE
Kathleen is a wonderful, skilled and insightful practitioner with an exceptional bedside manner. She is thorough and thoughtful, prompt and efficient. Kathleen takes time to understand the whole patient; to determine how best to treat the complaint, which is so different from the western approach. As I had breast cancer some years ago and am unable to undergo traditional hormone replacement therapy, my gynecologist had nothing to offer for my difficult hot flashes. After I told him of my experience with Kathleen's care, he was pleased I had found some relief and asked for her card. I sure hope he suggests others, as Kathleen helped me a great deal.

    WHITE LOTUS ACUPUNCTURE
There are times when the relief is immediate and other times i takes a while. I have been in her care for over one year and I can say with out any hesitation that my condition has stabilized primarily due to her intervention. That being said I see my cardiologist at the recommended intervals and take my medications as prescribed. Treating A-Fib is all about getting to that level place and staying there. That is precisely what has happened for me while in Kathleen's care.
Any condition that one has can be addressed on multiple fronts. I ascribe to the and quot;all of the aboveand quot; approach. Thankfully there are online resources such as A-Fib dot com that lay out lots of treatment options in layman's terms.
My wife who is far more skeptical of alternative therapies, even goes now. I have an Aunt in Ireland that needed a hip replacement, she was on the waiting list (typical experience with SOCIALIZED medicine). Acupuncture is what made life bearable for her until she could have her hip done. I look forward to my visits and feel great after I leave.
I am a believer, I KNOW that it works. I picked Kathleen primarily because she is close by, I am extremely lucky to have found her! There are no silver bullets in medicine, this therapy has been around for thousands of years. Go see Kathleen at White Lotus and give the process sufficient time to work. You must become more knowledgable about your health issues, the family doctor cannot know it all. It does not matter what your medical issue is, there is literally an acupressure point that corresponds to it. You would be remiss in not giving this a shot. God Bless, and feel better..

    Body Dynamics Inc
They are a fabulous group. They do integrated care for injuries or anything like osteoporosis or strength training. I happen to have a plate in my neck, and I had a lot of trouble with chronic pain. So, they do physical therapy, but then as you progress from physical therapy, they have people who are trained to help you with exercises that can continue to support your physical therapy. The massage therapists have specific focuses that help with injuries. Their massages are not like a spa massage; they are punish and drilly. The acupuncturist can help with a kind of eastern medicine approach to chronic pain. The neurofeedback specialist also specializes in chronic pain. For one site to have that as well as for the strength training program, they are just a complete integrated wellness center. The people are wonderful, very well-educated, very well selected, very attentive, and professional. They work as a team.

    THE TEAL CENTER
It was fantastic. They were very promt and the provider was very understanding. They were able to monitor my situation and improve it. The office environment was very soothing and peaceful. They also gave me advice on some home exercises as well. I would recommend them.
