    Premium Lawn & Landscape
They showed up on time and worked very hard, with only a lunch break Had to come back on the 2nd day, which was planned for and finish up Did an outstanding job and even removed some items(small tree and additional vines) not in original estimate for the original amount

    Lopez Tree Service and Landscaping
Lopez and his team worked efficiently and well. We had put off clearing the overgrowth in our backyard but finally, with all the rain, could no longer ignore it. This team was available right away and did exactly what I asked. Within a few hours, they transformed our backyard. They were fast but skilled. I was really impressed.

Julio was fantastic to deal with. He provided an on the spot quote and was able to complete the job significantly faster and cheaper than any other company we consulted. The work far exceeded our expectations and we would use them again without hesitation.

    Stokes Tree Solutions
Tree trimming was fine. However, felt a little uneasy when Tom suggested I should take down a huge tree in my backyard because it was showing a crease in the back of the trunk and said he would give me a deal to take it out at 3k. I had 2 other licensed tree guys come look and they said it was fine and I had nothing to worry about (other than thunder storms). I declined and he kept trying to inquire to ask if I want it taken down because he was worried about the tree. Overall with his tree trimming service, i gave him a fair review because he cut one down which was originally not in scope and did not charge me extra which was appreciated. I also emailed several times for him to come back and cut down another part of a tree for $300 and i never got a response so I gave up on that. When getting a quote for the mulch bed maintenance in the fall (which included trimming of azeleas, removal of weed trees, remove of some ivy, and mulching), his quote was $1800. I said I would likely get that part done in the spring once the azeleas bloomed. When the spring came around, he said the price went up to $2,100 because there's more ivy then what he had originally thought (keep in mind he did not return to my house since giving me the quote). I responded and said the ivy removal would be very limited as I was able to remove a majority of it and I didn't feel a 300 increase just because was warented. Tom agreed to keep the price at $1800. I followed up to see if I could get all the pricing components of the scope broken down so I could decide if I wanted to do some of it and only have him do portions of the scope. What I got back was a summary of all the items he would be doing with a flat price of 2,100 (no break out or anything and at a higher price that was originally agree on). When I called him out for not listening to my request he appologied that i didn't understand and that he bundled the deal for me which didn't make one bit of sense. I told Tom i would be using someone else because of all the hassle and back and forth I had to deal with (not worth it). The logistics and communication with this company is lackluster at best. Scheduling and them going silent is par for the course.

    ImageWorks Landscaping
It went great! We had a little bit of a delay in scheduling but most of that was weather related. In the end, the timing worked out perfectly. We decided to use imageworks just before an unexpected big storm came. When the storm was over, Dave promptly came to our property to assess a tree that we lost. He provided an estimate the same day to remove it. We decided to use them to move the tree and to conduct our spring cleanup. Great decision. Everything looks as expected and the crew was very professional.

    Clarks Landscaping
very well. I was talked into shovel trim on flower beds, turned out surprisingly well. work was thorough and artistic, hard work, they stayed until it was done. Last minute 'oh I forgot to ask about neighbors vines strangling my evergreen border trees' were accommodated graciously. I could not have asked for a better job.

    AAA Tree Service
Great job from AAA. Had first talked to another vendor based on recommendations from Angie's List, and the estimate was almost double what I was expecting. When I called AAA, they had someone on site within 24 hours and a formal estimate immediately following. Their crew was prompt and hard working and willing to do some additional spot grinding when I asked. Two trees makes for a lot of sawdust and they did a good job on cleanup though I still needed to go over the deck and yard after they left. NOTE: tree and stump removal is NOT cheap. I got excited from other Angie's postings and budgeted $800 but for a mature tree you should expect to pay $1100-$1300. It should NOT cost $2K+ per tree.

Merrifield Garden Center - Fair Oaks
Price includes the dogwood and cherry trees purchased as well as delivery/planting services. Merrifield is great and I'm a long-time customer but did shop around for these services. Had to remove mature maple and tulip poplar trees from my property due to disease (used for removal and stump grinding). Everyone is knowledgable at the Garden Center and based on my propery/soil/light were able recommend specific tree variants and teach me how to pick the best/healthiest of the trees on site. We scheduled easily and the team that arrived (on time) did a great job in getting both the trees planted within an hour, straight and with great room for roots and the trees to thrive.

    RW Stump Grinding
Great! Reg was very professional, on time, and took care of the tree and the stump in no time. He dropped the remaining tree, then per my request, he cut the 20' stump into log-sized pieces so I can split it later for fire wood. Then he brought out a monster of a stump grinder, which ate the remaining stump (about 3' diameter) in a matter of minutes. Everything was cleaned up as requested, and the results were great. Couldn't be happier with the service!

    Big Steve's Tree Care
I'm not going to use them. I chose them for an estimate because of the reviews from Angie's List. He actually showed up early, which I liked. He was professional and very easy to deal with. He didn't take long to give me an estimate. I enjoyed dealing with him. The other company gave me a lower estimate and are able to do what I need in a shorter time frame.
