  • I am in awe of the professionalism of EVERYONE who took such WONDERFUL care of me!!!!!!!!  The doctors, nurses, technicians, transport staff and food staff!!!  I have never seen SO MANY exceptional people in one facility and SO very kind and caring; just can't say enough good about all of them!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!  I requested my family to please take me there in the event of another emergency  : )

  • Friendly staff. We were surprised that they had a personnel to come up to our room to inform and promote their hospital food (included with the hospital stay) when we didn't order anything for lunch. They also provide people to pray with you, if you are religious.

  • he Mail order:
    This company is horrible. Generic inhaler $30 at pharmacy for 1 month supply; $120 through mail order for 3.  Seriously!?!  That's a ridiculous markup for postage.  Medication is cheaper at Walgreens and Target.  And both of those places do 3-month supply scripts. They just don't arrive in your mailbox.  But I'm not that lazy.
    It was a nightmare to get through and actually have a conversation with  someone.  Although not too much of a conversation because I mostly berated their incompetence.  
    New prescriptions submitted by my doctor electronically were not received by the company until 2 days later.  Apparently this company does not use the same internet as the rest of the world.  Cigna uses this mail order company but they are not actually connected with Cigna.  
    Josh, the supervisor told me new scripts do not get filled because the company does not have personal information on file.  What they do is call the customer and ask for information.  And he said, "yeah, sometimes customers do not give us the information".  And I said, seriously so you guys just cold call people out of the blue asking for name, address, drug allergies, health conditions, and credit card information and people don't want to give that information to a stranger over the phone.  Hmm, wonder why that is?
     
    Just bad all around.  Bad, very bad company.
    Claim services:
    Submitted over a month ago and I still don't know the status.  I've logged into my mycigna account and there is no record of claim.  I called.  Oh yeah they got the claim a little over a month ago.  Status?  It needs to be scanned into another system.  It was only scanned into the one system so the customer service people can see the claim.  (never mind that that the customer service rep took several minutes to figure out how to scroll to page two of the claim).  Was the claim scanned into the system that people use to process the claim?  "Oh, I'm not sure.  I just know it needs to be scanned into several systems."  So our new insurance company at my job has several systems that do not communicate with each other.  My claim was scanned so the person answering the phone can see it.  Now it's just sitting in an in-box some where to be scanned so someone can process it.  Then next it will be scanned so I can log into my account and see the status. 
    Way to realize it's 2014 Cigna!

  • The new Tysons Corner facility is very convenient.
    The Springfield pharmacy isn't open on the weekends, and closes at 5 on the weekdays which isn't convenient.
    Overall it's good insurance for the money if you don't get really ill.

  • Fairfax Urgent Care I visited them last week. I have actually chosen to use them more as a primary care but they are urgent care. Overall the reason I have chosen to use them is because of their hours. It's not 24/7 but 8 am to 8 pm. It's nice. They are really, really good about having those later hours. Everybody there is very professional, very courteous and the one good thing, I actually went there in February and the doctor went out of his way to help me. I hit my head. He really went out of his way to make sure that I had an MRI somewhere within the next three or four hours, he set it up. He himself actually called the office manager of the MRI place and they took me immediately. Most doctors don't do that.

  • Delivered baby at Fairfax Hospital. Stayed 2 nights. We were very pleased with the care at the hospital. Everything went very smooth. All staff we dealt with were very nice and professional. No complaints at all and would recommend to anyone having a baby.

  • It's a clean hospital, it has an excellent staff, and they took good care of me. The only thing they need to work on is coordinating getting out of the hospital and the communication with the staff on how to get that done.

  • They are close to home and reliable. If you have any questions on your medicine or dosage they will answer it to the best of their ability. They also take the time to explain how to use certain medication or equipment.

  • This is a good pharmacy. It has in stock the prescribed drugs I get and a highly professional and helpful staff dispensing the pharmaceuticals. The wait time has never been more than 20 minutes. I am thoroughly pleased.

  • They are competent. This location is crowded and overly busy. My medication is not always ready when I go to pick it up, even after calling or emailing the prescriptions. They have a drive-up. The pharmacists are extremely busy.
