    H & C Construction Services LLC
Everyone is professional and the job is done on time and done well. Like I said, I've been a customer for 7 years and Luis is the first one I call anytime we need something either fixed or updated in our home. They are very fair in price, always show up, and do a great job. I wouldn't use anyone else.

    Elite Contractors Services Inc
We recommend Elite 100%, and then some! Our experience working with Elite Contractor Services was fantastic. Ken and his team were professional, responsive, efficient, and conducted great work throughout the duration of our home gut-renovation. The crew showed up at 7am each day, and tidied up the work site before leaving in the evening - a full six days a week. The crew were extremely clean and polite! Ken, who owns the company, checked in with us daily via email, phone, or text - and met with us in person once a week to go over progress and address any of our questions at the site. He was personally involved throughout the project and was a pleasure to work with -- an all-around pleasant, friendly, and wonderful person. Not only did Ken provide creative ideas and solutions to meet our needs, but he repeatedly and proactively sought out more economical options for some of the required sub contract work - including our roof shingle replacement, and custom doors, for which he got us multiple quotes to review (and we didn't even have to ask!). He never tried to sell us anything we didn't need, and never charged us more than was required. On the few occasions when there was an issue or change required, all we needed to do was email or call Ken, and it would be addressed the next day. The crew did high quality work from top to bottom - with especially beautiful woodworking skills on our fireplace mantle and staircase. In some areas, Ken and the crew even went above and beyond what we asked for to create beautiful, custom details - and we were incredibly happy with the result. Ken's wife, Ana, who manages the design side of the company, was also a pleasure to work with. She met with us several times to guide us through our kitchen remodel and created highly realistic 3D renderings to help us visualize our new kitchen and make decisions. She too was very responsive with helping us over email and text any time we had a question about an item for purchase or design element. The entire gut renovation of our 4-story town home - including replacing all of the plumbing, electrical, HVAC, floors, kitchen, and 4 bathrooms - took just 3 months TOTAL! We couldn't believe how efficiently the crew worked, while also turning out such good work. We have several friends who have remodeled their homes in recent years and NONE have ever reported a such a positive experience with their GC. Our neighbors, on the other hand, who recommended Elite, had only RAVE reviews. We are so happy with our decision go with Elite and encourage anyone considering hiring them to do so - it was a great experience, and we are extremely happy with our new and improved home.

    Graves Design & Remodeling Inc
We were very satisfied with our experience working with Graves design. We decided to go with them after receiving what believed to be a fair estimate for our bath remodel, involving the complete gutting of a 50-year old traditional hall bath and design/rebuild of a modern guest bath with special modifications for wheelchair and space requirements. This included a sliding/pocket door, a hidden toilet tank, extra grab-bars and open space below the sink. Their design expert, Caroline, was very helpful with frank and honest suggestions regarding materials and fixtures and spent a good deal of time with us at the tile and marble outlets, staying with us until actual decisions were made and materials ordered. There were glitches and delays when unexpected challenges were encountered (not surprising, in a 50-year old house), but I very much appreciated the fact that they adjusted to the changes with no increase in price something that we had not encountered during a previous bathroom remodel done by another company, when additional charges were levied for both unexpected work and for design changes. A cautionary note: the initial estimate of time needed for job was much understated. What we were told would likely be a 3-week job turned out to be in excess of 5 weeks. The normal time needed, for instance, between measurements taken for the sink countertop (which could only be taken at the end of construction) and actual installation was about 5 days, during which time very little work was done, since it the counter installation came at the end of construction. It would have been good for Graves to include that down time in their estimate of time needed to complete the job, and we recommend that such unavoidable delays be advised upfront. A special note of thanks goes to the plumbing and tile experts who did most of the work and were in our house much more than any of the other workers involved. They did their level best to minimize dirt, dust and disruption, and cleaned up after themselves completely at the end of each days work, including removal of materials and drop cloths. They were courteous and tried to be helpful in other ways, including such small things as re-hanging pictures that had to be removed during the renovation and replacing heavy furniture that had to be moved. All in all, we had a very positive experience with Graves Design and would gladly recommend them for similar jobs elsewhere.

    Elite Contractors Services Inc
Ken, Ana and their team have been amazing! Ken is always responsive, polite and tries hard to meet your expectations. Ana was patient, had great ideas on design stuff, and was equally responsive to emails and calls with questions, suggestions or changes. The crew that worked on the house was there early and were always respectful. They did a great job and moved quickly without cutting corners. I have already recommended Elite to others and will continue to do so.

    Rent-A-Pro Handyman Services LLC
We had some wood rotting just below an exterior door leading to our family room. I was hoping that just that piece of wood could be replaced, but another handyman who does small jobs for us had declined to do the repair -- so he must have suspected it was a much bigger job than that, which it was. I finally got a crow bar and yanked off that piece of rotten wood, and could then see that not only had the door frame rotted away in one area, the wall nearby also had a lot of rot. Jeovanni from Rent-A-Pro Handyman had to replace the door and remove the nearby siding in order to replace all the rotten wood in the wall. He was here a good 12 hours, including a trip to Home Depot for the new door. He did a great job, and had to cancel his afternoon appointments to get it all done in one day. Total cost was $1,100. this was a much bigger job than typical handyman work. I appreciated that he snapped photos with his phone to show me all the work he did.

    Nova Renovation Group
We contacted six design/build companies and two architects in the summer of 2016. One architect and four of the design/build companies responded, and we met with all of them. After talking with David Gordon from NRG (Nova Renovation Group), my husband and I both immediately knew we would like to work with him. He followed through with plans and a quote that was acceptable to us, and we signed a contract on August 2. Our project consisted of a large addition with a two-car garage that has some work space and some storage area. The garage is connected to the back of our original house by a 12 x 12 entry room with a new basement that connects to our original basement. Above the garage and entry is a very large master bedroom suite. A screened porch was built off the entry. The original stairs to the basement, which were next to our tiny kitchen, were removed, and that space was added to the kitchen to make it more practical. On October 20, the excavator broke ground and the project began in earnest. We lived in our house during the entire construction project, and NRG adjusted the work schedule a bit to accommodate us. My husband and I took thousands of photos and hundreds of hours of video to document the construction process. (You can read about and see our project here: [*** Link removed ***] ) The NRG crew was a pleasure to work with, always willing to lend a hand if we needed it. David visited the site almost every day and kept us informed on the work schedule. He offered suggestions for useful changes and additions, but never pressured us to do expensive upgrades. He worked with us to get things done the way we wanted them. During the course of the project, numerous sub-contractors and vendors offered unsolicited praise for David. His employees seem to be comfortable around him and to respect him. As expected on a large project, there were some problems, and David was always there with a level head to get the issues resolved. After much noise and mess, we were able to spend the first night in our new bedroom on March 23, 2017. There were still some punch list items to be completed, but most of the project was complete. We have since hired NRG for two smaller projects and would not hesitate to have them do additional work for us.

    PRIMARY COLORS INC
We were pleased with the results. He does good work and asks the right questions. We definitely would recommend him to people looking for a good painter as well as all-around handyman. His prices were competitive. He is dependable, thorough and finishes the job ahead of schedule. We're happy with his work and won't hesitate to hire him again,

    American Home Center Inc
From our initial contact with Joy Willett via email, to our meeting with Robert Willett in their showroom, to contract/field measurements, to installation ... These folks are outstanding. Everything fit! Install was fast and clean. Robert made suggestions that actually saved us money and we are thrilled with the outcome. We have had one hiccup on our front door - the hardware that was sent is not the right set. Robert has already contacted the manufacturer and his crew will be out in the next week or so with the correct hardware and will re-install it. The installation crews were professional and did a good job. My only suggestion on how they could improve is to have the crew introduce themselves to the owner. Only one person introduced himself, Oscar -- the others were all friendly - I just had no idea what to call them. I would highly recommend using AHC ... I will update this once the hardware issue is corrected.

    Just Doors
This was a fantastic experience. I could write a review that is pages long, but instead I'll just give the highlights. If you need a door replaced, Ryan should be on your speed dial. 1. Ryan (the owner) was very easy to work with. We handled almost all communication via email, which was perfect given my busy work schedule. When he came to give the estimate he was professional without going into a long-winded or high pressure sales pitch. 2. I received four estimates to have the door replaced. Two of the companies told me that the sidelites could only be "direct set" due to their non-standard size. Ryan figured out that ProVia could actually make the sidelites we wanted in a non-standard size (with a custom sizing upcharge). Despite this "upcharge" Ryan's price was still lower than two of the other companies. In short, he not only knew more about the product than his competitors, he was also able to offer a more expensive door at a lower cost. Simply awesome. 3. The door arrived faster than expected and was installed less than three weeks after we ordered it. The crew showed up early and finished early. We paid to have a "lead-safe" install (even though we don't actually know that lead was present) since we have small children. The area was properly contained and the clean-up was immaculate. 4. The new door is awesome. See the pictures below.

    Eastern Safe & Lock Inc
After taking the lock apart and determining it was faulty and not repairable, Tim (technician) informed us that Baldwin locks carried a lifetime warranty. He searched for and found the lock model identification along with the phone number for Baldwin. We called and I was told the new part would be sent by UPS the next day. Tim said to let him know when I received the part - he would return and install it. I did and he did - all within 5 days start to finish. (No additional travel charge for return visit.)
