    Asurion
Asurion sent an independent contractor named Peter Johnson to repair my iPhone 7 . I was given a 1pm-3PM arrival time just before 3PM he called and said he would be around 1 hr late. When he got here he was nice and went to work really fast. In my opinion "To Fast" like he was trying to make up the lost time for the day on my repair. He changed the screen out in about 20min and put it back together. He restarted the phone and said you may need to re-sink it with iTunes. Rather than wait to be sure it was ok, he ran out the door. In about 5 min it was clear my Home Screen Button wasn't working at all, but was totally fine before he started. I tried to call him right back to try and get him to come right back but he didn't answer and I had to use another phone as I couldn't do anything with mine since the Home Screen Button wasn't doing anything. I called him 4 times, texted him 2 times, and emailed him as well. No response to any of them even by the next day. When he ran out the door he did give me his card and say if you need any other phones fixed that are not insured I have my own business as well. I called the Asurion and told them everything that happened and they said they could send him back, but I would have to pay the $49 fee again. I said to them, "You have to be kidding me, he didn't fix it." They said, our only no cost option now was to replace my phone. I said, "I don't really want to replace it", but after they checked with the supervisor they said that was my only no cost option left to get mailed a replacement phone in 2 days. The photo is the business card of the independant contractor they sent out.

WiGoClinic - Cell Phone & Tablet Repair
This cell phone repair clinic has earned the award of, "Most frustrating business i've ever had to deal with"
    That's not an easy accomplishment.
I dropped my phone off a month ago(!) to have it repaired from water damage. I appreciate this this is not an easy repair; there's multiple components that can be the culprit, and ultimately, efforts can fail. I'm pragmatic and understand that even the best efforts for repairing small electronics can be fruitless. I've been working in IT for over 15 years, and have performed repair work on my own apple products. (Iphone 5c, macbook pro)
My phone sat for a week before I got my first update. (Had to call the shop to get it) They performed multiple treatments on it, without success. Had to order a new motherboard.
The shop asked for pre-payment of the repair fee, and sent my phone to a motherboard tech. That's where the experience went sour; they spent the next 3 weeks (a week past the long end of the estimate, despite the fact that I asked for updates) with my phone just to return it again as unfixable. I really just spent 75$ for a motherboard tech to return my device, with the same parts (and surface scratches and a sticky mess on the back) and no indication of why it was not fixable. If it was a motherboard repair, and I spent 100$ for the effort, i'd like to believe that i'm entitled to a repair part, at the least. (The service provider gave me a 50$ refund for the work)
Customer service was curt, unresponsive, needed to be contacted constantly for updates, and ultimately attempted to tell me about how hard troubleshooting small electronics is. ("It's not procedural") Other cell phone repair shops can return this kind of effort in a week.
Next time, i'll use iRescue or a more reliable shop. This repair group is an example of needing to drill down deeper than an overall yelp rating and see what they're capable of doing, and I wouldn't use these guys for anything more than a cracked screen or a defective port.

Fix & Style Mobile Device Repair Center
I first contacted this company throuh Angies List messaging service. I received a prompt response and a quick appointment. I was greetrd warmly upon arrival, my phone was put throuh a pre-check to make sure there was no functional damage before repairs. The badly shattered glass was removed and replaced while I waited. Total repair tome was about a half hour. After repairs, my phone was checked again to make sure it was functioning properly. I was very satisfied with every aspect of the service I received from the friendly and helpful staff. One extra thing occurred that deserves mention. While I was waiitng an elderly gentlman stumbled in with his phone in a plastic bag. The helpful man at the front desk, very kindly and clearly explained that they did not repair land line phones but the befuddled old gentleman did not seem to get the message. He kept explaining what the problem was and insisting that he had been sent there by AT&T. Much to his credit, the front desk manager went out of his way to look at the phone and explain to the owner that it appeared to be a simple matter of replacing the battery. He recommended a battery speciality store nearby, and patiently repeated the name of that store and directions three times while the old fellow struggled to make sense of things. The front desk manager really went above and beyond in caring for this vulnerable fellow. He was kind and patient and I was impressed by his demeanor and caring. I like to see kindness in human interactions. I like to do business with good people. While I hope that my electronic devices don't need repairs for a long time, I heartily commend the staff of Fix and Style to anyone needing cell phone repairs.

Britt was absolutely fantastic.  I had just gone on a trip to Niagara Falls and on the last day cracked my phone.  All my pictures gone.  I search Angies for a mobile repair shop and found Fix and Style Mobile repair.  I called them as soon as they opened Friday morning to see if they could take me.  Britt said sure and I was there within an hour.   She quoted me a price and took the phone. She said she would call in about 45 minutes so we should go get some breakfast.  We took a ride and under 40 minutes she called us to  come back.  It was fixed.  No hidden costs.  She also gave me some tips on other things I could do to save data and gave me a super cover for the phone for only $10 .       She was just awesome and I would use them again.

It all went extremely well. I called a them because our home came with a prewired phone / internet system, not your standard set-up.  The tech they sent out was experienced, professional, and efficient. He identified the problem, a "short" in some of the lines in the system. He rerouted the lines and fixed the problem. I give this company my highest recommendation. Their rates were very competitive.

I sent an email to describe the problem and then went to their location.  The tech at the desk, Michael Parks, remembered the email, and suggested I spend the $29.99 they charge for a diagnosis, with that amount credited also to the fix time charge.  He promised a response within 24 hours.

Four hours later he called me; the problem had been solved - some settings had to be reconfigured, arcane stuff I probably couldn't have done myself.  I picked up the cell phone, and it works like it should.

The Nexus 4 is a pure Google phone and not sold in stores, and it's not offered through a carrier.  There were no other options for quick repairs.

Now when I need a battery replaced - the Nexus is a sealed phone like an iPhone - I know where to go.  These people should help me get the maximum life out of this excellent phone.  It was interesting too to see their offering to work on iPads and iPhones; they know what they are doing.

Absolutely excellent service.  The price was high, but this was largely because the contractor was here around 6 hours and did a lot of work.  The actual work completed was done exceptionally well.

.. I selected the phone man to repair to Jack's for a new telephone system I had acquired. I called the number in the listing, actually I got it from the website, and Mr. Goss came very quickly to my home. He was very professional and obviously had a great deal of experience and knowledge of all matters relating to telephones. He repaired to telephone jacks which required service because one had defective and the other was not functioning properly. The work was performed quickly and efficiently and the price was very reasonable.
