AMy $279 edger barely worked. Even when it worked the engine would sputter. I was about to throw it out but decided to give Blunard's a try. For $79 they completely flushed the system, replaced the gas kit, spark plug, etc. It runs like a brand new machine. Saved me $200 over buying a new one. I will definitely return for all power tool needs..

ASo far, I only had Better Lawn Service 3 times. Two mowings and one grub control. The mowings were excellent in my view. They collect the clippings so not to leave thatch behind and suffocate the lawn. This practice may not be popular to some homeowners or companies. But no matter how you slice or dice it, it is a fact that accumulation of grass clippings would eventually overwhelmed the lawn. The few points that I want to stress are: 1) Pat, the owner, does come around to check your lawn before giving an estimate. In my case, since the grass was not mowed for a long time, Pat initially thought that it would cost $$$$ for the initial mow but he said he would check the lawn out first. After checking the lawn, the cost turned out to be $$ only. Now that is an honest and ethical way of doing business. No blanket statement. 2) The crew applied the grub control with full consideration of the following facts: a) after a mowing, b) before the rain forecast. The thoughtfulness that blew me off was: they knew that I am unable to immediately water in the grub control chemical, so they applied it the day before the rain arrived. You cannot expect a more ethical, thoughtful and customized service than this. Last but not least, when I initially approached Pat to start his mowing service, I might have said something that may trigger him to think that I need quick service without delay. So he even referred me to his colleague. He was trying to help his colleague boost up his young mowing company. Pat was conscious of the quality of service that he provides: he does not want to be overwhelmed with work that the quality of his work decreases. You cannot go wrong with Better Lawn Service.

ABeco landscaping was prompt, and worked like a well-oiled machine, quickly and thoroughly cleaning out many flower beds, removed debris and leaves, trimmed 2 Japanese maple trees, 5 arbivatae and remulched all beds. Additionally, they replaced an underground downspot. Our yard looks fantastic!

AMaster MechanicsArt made room for me the same day I called and came out to do the work on-site. He quickly released and re-seated a jammed drive belt. When I asked him to come back to install a new belt when it arrived (current one was partially burned down), he suggested that I save my money as it's a pretty complicated/expensive job and the current one could easily last for a few seasons. ALong's Small Engine RepairIt went fantastic. I stopped in on Saturday, and he looked at my saws right away. He was able to get one working while I waited, due to me not having the correct choke settings. The 2nd didn't start properly, so he did a quick compression test. Ultimately the saw wasn't worth repairing. He did all this in 15 minutes, where other shops would have taken over 3 weeks just to LOOK at them. The price couldn't be beat either.- Adam H.

AFreestate Mower RepairIt went GREAT! I called Steven and arranged for an appointment. Within two days he came to the house and discovered the problem, a broken cable. He also looked at a second mower and we determined that due to its age, we would not fix it. A week later the cable was in and he came back to the house and installed it. He also scrapped the grass from under the mower deck, changed the oil and the spark plug, cleaned the foam air cleaner and sharpened the blade ... all within 30 minutes. He saved me the time and effort of lifting the mower into my car trunk and running up to the shop and back home again. His work was first rate, done right the fist time and his bill was fair.
