    Homefix - Remodeling & Roofing
HOMEfix performed a variety of small, medium, and large interior and exterior jobs for our second home, including painting the entire interior and refinishing the hardwood floors. The painting and refinishing were perfect and beyond my expectations. We appreciate the excellent job that Griff and Bryan did with their teams. We were impressed with HOMEfix as soon as we made the first phone call. They were always professional and available if we had any questions, yet all the work went smoothly, on time, and within budget. I would refer HOMEfix to anyone who wants quality work done for their home.

Home inspection prior to house sale identified three areas for possible service - reverse polarity in outlet, two outlets not working, and misrouted electric line to sink/garbage disposal. Prolec electrician resolved all three quickly, safely and inexpensively: $195, which included $45 dispatch/service fee; as compared to $500 estimate from another company! Very impressed with common sense solutions to address the problem (fixing electrical connections and resetting GFI) rather than just replacing outlets and installing new conduit!

    Mister Rogers Electric LLC
Very impressed with speed of response, free estimate, and discounts (military and first-time customer - both of which were covered better on company website, rather than Angie's Listing). Ultimately decided not to use Mister Rogers, as another electrical company did same work for half the price ($195 vs. $489 quote).

    Staples Electric LLC
Craig provided a thorough estimate and answered a lot of questions I had with our new house. He inspected out breaker box, and pointed out a few non-code electrical issues as well. He routed our bedroom light switch after we did some construction, removed an old light fixture and installed a canned light. Overall I was very satisfied with Staples and will use them in the future.

    S & S Electric LLC
A+ Top notch service. Installing 1 attic fan, realized needed another one replaced. They went out, got a 2nd one and installed them both, plus gave advice on our under cabinet lights that always blink. Followed up the next day with a $15 solution to try before we do a repair. Good communication - they answer the phone when you call. Showed up on time and done in under 2 hours which included the time to get the 2nd fan.

    Murphy Family Services
It never happened. I requested a quote online claiming a deal Murphy Family Services was running. However, I saw that Angie's List had a posted a notice regarding Murphy Family Service's not having a D.C. Electrical Contractor License. When chatting with a representative, I asked if this situation has been resolved. The representative said, "yes". When asked to provide a license via the attachment option (which anyone should be willing to do), I was told, "I need to pay a permit service fee of $369". I caution anyone in D.C. (or anyone for that matter) on this. I would not pay a permit fee of any amount to (a) discover the electrician is unlicensed, or (b) to even be able to see a license. Any reputable company licensed in the advertised area would provide this free of charge. Buyer beware.

    FBT Tile & Marble Inc
I worked with Mozaic Tile, Janelle Parker and Frank, the owner of FBTtile I am ecstatic with my results i live in a townhouse built in 1979. Im fixing it completely. I have never had a contractor as good as Frank and his Fbttile crew. Two Jasons were the primary contacts, I planned it out with Janelle. Use ONLY Fbttile. You can spend your money and not get good results. It has taken me five contractors to get to Frank DO NOT GO ANY OTHER PLACE FOR YOUR KITCHEN AND BATHROOM ONLY USE FBTTILE AND MOSAIC as the supplier. Its happiness, personal to your planning and budget .. THE BEST A+

    N.C.S. Electric LLC
I was a job well done! After troubleshooting, Douglas explained to me what needed to be done to fix the issue. He was prepared with all the tools and supplies he needed. After he was done, he showed me what caused the problem and what he did to prevent from happening again.

    Trust Pro Builders
Reynaldo Perdomo, owner of Trust Pro Builders, is a true professional. We hired him in 2014 to renovate our kitchen after working with him in 2011 on the renovation of our basement. Reynaldo produces high quality work at affordable prices. He is thorough, dependable, creative, and skilled with a fine attention to detail. He takes the time necessary to do the job right while adhering to budget. His pride in and ownership of his work product is refreshing in today's cut-corners-to-get-it-done market. Reynaldo is a modern-day craftsman.

    Ultimate Remodel LLC
Our bathrooms turned out beautifully. I gave them a B on price simply because Im sure I could have gotten a lower price out there but Im betting the quality would not have been the same. As always in construction there are hiccups along the way and the owner and his crew made everything as smooth as possible and in the end just wanted us to be happy with the product. We are having them quote us for a third bathroom as I type this!
