    Beauregard Medical Center Ltd
was using this practice for about 20 years, but sadly most of the doctors retired and the practice was sold. The new group seems very money oriented and pushes any test they think the insurance will cover. I even had a receptionist who told me that if you declined an EKG and then had a heart attack your insurance might not pay. NOT TRUE, This was so absurd I actually checked. I found the new doctor (Shapiro) lacking in empathy and not that easy to share with--not good. Also they would call in prescriptions, but not tell you --leaving it to the pharmacy to let you know, Also not good. I have switched to another practice and now have a doctor who is wonderful Really sad, because they used to be great. a

    Rocky Run Family Medicine
After awhile, I really started to get tired of having to make an appointment to come in to see the doctor just to get some of my meds refilled, or if one type of new med prescribed did not work well, asking if the doctor could call me in the original prescription I was taking previously. The doctor would require I come in, and it gets expensive after awhile. The doctor would have me come in for unnecessary appointments, where simple test results or med changes could have been done over the phone. What discouraged me from coming back to Rock Run was Dr. Mancini had me trying a new medication, and took me off my old medication. I had bad side effects with the new medication. I called to ask if he could refill the old/original med I took previously, and the front desk stated I MUST come in for an appointment to go over these side effects to see what would be the best "course of action" for my treatment. On my next appointment, Dr. Mancini would not renew my previous medication, even through I had been taking it for over 3 years! I really needed it, and it was a milder form of a necessary medication. He would not renew it for me no matter what. I am seeing another PCP now; he is great! Adios, Rocky Run!

    Annandale Women & Family Center
I go to Annandale Women & Family Center.  I was there two days ago.  I would say they have problems administratively.  They have an excellent nurse practitioner.  I've had lots of trouble with prescriptions and so the administrative staff was not quite up to par.  I've just had a lot of trouble with prescriptions being wrong, not being fit in.  I would tell others I'm not sure I would recommend them.

    Remy, Dr. Terri F.

While we are relatively new patients of Dr. Remy , our first several appointments have been excellent.  She was timely, spent time with us, handled all our questions, and began some testing to handle our specific concerns and prescriptions.  She was very friendly, professional and understanding of our issues. She is also a great listener.  We feel very fortunate to have found her.

    Virginia Medical Alliance

I scheduled the appointment a week and a half before the date.

Went in at the scheduled time had a 5-10 minute wait. The nurse came and got me and took some readings.

Waited a few minutes for doctor. The doctor is very nice and we discussed my concerns. She is very personable and I feel comfortable discuss my issues with her. And I never feel rushed.

I had fasting blood work done but I had to go to Quest Diagnostic because of my insurance, with other insurance the doctor's office can do the blood work in their own lab.

The billing issue was a little troubling as I called the insurance and they told me I could have blood work done in the doctor's office with a co-pay but the office would not do it.

    Gondor, Dr. L George
This doctor is the greatest. He's always been there for me even though I don't have health insurance. His diagnosis is always spot on and he explains his treatment in layman's terms I can understand. He always answers all my questions. I never feel rushed. I hope he never decides to move away.

    Kaiser Permanente
Despite the fact that over the years HMOs have their critics, my 30+ years with Kaiser has proven them to be extremely competent. But again, I want to emphasize that I haven't had any serious problems to really test that out with a problem. I love Kaiser and they're incredibly highly rated by everybody and I can see why. I always get to see the same doctor every time. Again, I have rarely used specialists there.

    The Kidz Docs
I absolutely love The Kidz Docs. From the ladies at the front desk, to the always friendly nurses, to the sick patient and well patient waiting rooms, to the nostalgic murals on the walls, to the punctual "pick ups" for appointments. I cannot say that I have ever had a negative experience here.
My son is always treated with the greatest care. The folks here really love children. The doctors here (I have seen Dr. Larkin and Dr. Russell) have a genuine heart for children. At least they do for my little guy. I was referred to TKD by my good friend. I am so happy I took the time to "interview" them. Once I delivered my son, I knew that both me and my new baby were going to be in good hands.
Dr. Russell is great. He is of the mindset that if it shows up, we should investigate it. In most cases it is nothing, but the premise is to be certain rather than uncertain. I appreciate this wholeheartedly. He takes his time and answers each of my questions thoroughly. I don't feel that I am a bother, I feel like a mom who has concerns. He empowers me to bring things to his attention and will re-check if it is something that he did not see. He is very hands on and my son just loves him.
I get in and out without issue. I am able to get appointments with ease and processing of payment very easy as well.
So again, I would definitely recommend The Kidz Docs.

    Mir, Dr. Taseen
She's fantastic. She's energetic and young. Getting an appointment is a little challenging, but the customer service makes up for it. There's rarely a long wait time at the office -- I typically have to wait about 10 minutes for my appointment. She's referred me to several other doctors for various things, and all have been excellent. I also love her office location, since there are other doctors in the medical center that she's housed in; it's very convenient.

    Lorton Station Family Medicine
They are my primary care physicians. I see Dr. Christine. She is well informed and keeps you in the current. She is well informed and caring. She is concerned and she explains everything. She is good at giving you options. She is excellent. They are good at getting you in. You wait a little at times to get in.
