    Hardenburg, Dr. Stephanie A.
Very good, she was recommended to me by word of mouth and is very good easy to get along with easy to talk to. This is the first time I have to been to a councilor so have nothing to compare it to so this is ideal

    Dr. Rainer Maria Kohler
Dr. Kohler is a Jungian therapist who establishes an authentic relationship with
you, not just practicing according to some textbook, but actually
engaging with his clients in their journey to greater self-knowledge and
healthier relating with others. He was my favorite therapist and I
often wish he was still my therapist. Even though I was willing to
drive from Worcester to work with him, I can't really commute from the
Washington DC area where I live now. The most striking thing about
working with him was the frequency with which he would guide me to my
blind spots. I recommend him wholeheartedly.

    Ultimate Results
This place is a joke.  The gym is lousy looking & the staff has horrible follow-up / sales skills.  My fiancee & I are both fit people.  Unfortunately a year ago I was put on steroids for 6 months after finding out I had 3 autoimmune diseases. I ended up gaining 20 lbs in 3 months because of the steroids & for a year I've been trying to lose the pounds but they just won't come off.  So we decided to enlist in come help especially because our wedding is approaching & I knew I would have to go wedding dress shopping soon and would like to look like myself again.  Our first appointment the stress management class -- the owner realized & acknowledged that we were already pretty fit & the clients they were custom to helping were extremely overweight.  For 1.5 hrs we sat & watched a slide show on stress which talked about things we already knew (the owner had even mentioned several times throughout the presentation that he was sure we already knew all this stuff which we confirmed but he continued to talk about it anyway); recognizing this you would think he would have taken us through a deep approach since we were clearly advanced student but he instead decided to stick with tell us the basics.  Boring & useless!  After this, I was lookign forward to actual having a training in hopes that maybe they would be able to sculpt my body back into shape.  I received a voicemail 1 week later from a trainer asking when I would like schedule my appointment.  I called him back SEVERAL times only to never get my phone calls/voicemails returned &/or to get a dial tone telling me that this number is currently not in service anymore.  After that, I was fed-up & done trying.  I'm in the process now of trying to get my money back from Living Social for such an awful experience. In my opinion, unless you have a lot of weight to lose & the see the potential for a lot of money to be made -- they won't give you the time of day, but would you really want to be taken advantage of like that?  I know I wouldn't.  Definitely would NEVER go back or recommend them to anyone.

Center for Pastoral Counseling of Virginia
They were very good. I have friends that continue to use them and they like them too. They are very good at counseling. They added the spiritual component to counseling but they didn't try to push any religious beliefs on me. They were very open to letting me talk about my spiritual beliefs. I really thought my counselor was a good listener and a very warm person. They were empathetic. They also provided a sliding pay scale for people, which is important and they take different kinds of insurances and Medicare. The office wasn't anything fancy.

    Roundhouse Square Counseling Center
Kathy is wonderful, open, friendly, patient, realistic, and so much more.  I immediately felt open and trusting of her and looked forward to our monthly, and later, bimonthly meetings.  She was very good at providing perspective and sometimes pointing out flaws in my own thinking. She also reassured me when I was correct about something.

    Chapman & Michener MDs
Dr. Michener is excellent and I would highly recommend him. After my initial meeting with him, my daughter had her turn. Both of us felt that he was a good listener and extremely competent. He evaluated the situation and explained why he didn't feel she had a learning disability. Then he gave me strategies to help her "be fair to herself as a student" and talked with my daughter about it. It really helped my daughter feel more empowered and ended the typical parent-kid homework battle. We only went once because his advice worked! My daughter hasn't mentioned any "issues" since and is now more realistic about what it takes to do well in school. I really think he's top notch and appreciate the fact that he didn't make more out of her "struggles" than warranted. He told me to come back for support if needed.
