    Capps, Dr. David
David Kapps and Kat Whitechurch are first-rate Charlatans, who try to give you medical advice but are unqualified, both in skill, education, and practice, to do so. They will ruin your quality of life. Kapps spends 10 minutes with you while charging your insurance 150$ along with your co-pay of $30. In the first visit, he will show you a video of actors who state that the chiropractor work helps them live better lives. I beg to differ. After the sixth session with Kapps, I developed a numbness and lack of sensation in my pelvic region as well as an inability to walk comfortably. I would wake up at night with either quick sharp pin-like leg pains or creepy crawlies, and I have not been able to get comfortable in bed since. I went to a real doctor who told me that I had a pinched nerve in the back and traumatic arthritis of the knee, both of which are not medically treatable by a chiropractor. When you tell Kapps you want to see a doctor, he tries to refer you to someone he knows, presumably so that doctor can tell you that continued chiropractic sessions are good for an arthritic knee and a pinched back nerve. Kat Whitechurch is no different. After asking you to sign a form agreeing that you will not ask for a handjob, she will sit there for 15 minutes trying to medically diagnose your symptoms. This is not surprising. Prior to the session, her frail husband (who wants you to think he is a Marine based on what he says) will sit in the waiting room and stare you down, with Kats child, who will impress you (for a five year-old) with words that describe pieces of a gun, such as chamber and pin. If this is not enough for you to decide that you should probably find a more professional massage therapist, her practice will. She pushed down so **** ** my pectoral muscle (which I told her was sore) that I needed to seek the advice of a medical professional, who now has me in physical therapy to increase the range of motion in my shoulder. She had the nerve to charge me for the session too. While these two talk a good game, you will pay not only with your money, but also with whatever quality of life you have left. Seek medical advice and treatment, even if that advice involves the use of surgery or drugs to cure your pain and restore your quality of life. It gets worse with these two.

    Franconia Chiropractic Center
Dr. Suleman is a very talented chiropractor. I go to him regularly. When I had a broken foot, but didn't know, he was able to find the fracture using a tuning fork to locate the area of inflammation and tissue disruption around the break, a country doctor trick he knew. He then recommended I get an x-ray promptly. The location of the fracture was exactly correct.

    Alexandria Back and Neck Center
Had a really good experience here. Staff was courteous and the team was prompt with service. Will likely go back as needed, though personal preference would be for a combination of adjustment and massage therapy as opposed to purely adjustments.

    Connolly, Dr. Philip P.
Every treatment has always been successful and has gone well. Dr. Connolly always knows just where the problem is and how to fix it. He has never tried to over or up sell. When the treatments are done and the pain is gone, that's it unless and until the pain starts up again which has usually not been for at least another 18 months or so. I would much rather see Dr. Connolly and go this route when needed for my few and infrequent back problems than take a large and expensive chance on permanent damage and pain from surgery.

    Connolly, Dr. Philip P.
I saw Dr. Connolly for 2 months for neck and upper back pain. He's charming and competent, with no up-selling and mercifully little new-agey nonsense. Good manual manipulation, massage, and some very helpful at-home excercises realky helped. His staff are wonderful, and appointments are available and on time.

    Skyline Wellness Center
Ashley was very professional and, although she didn't go into a ton of detail about the various treatments she was using and why, she was always willing to answer my questions.  Over time, she began to provide more information, possibly in response to my expressing a desire to know about what she was doing.  Although she worked on Saturday mornings, I was rarely able to book those times.  It would have been great to be able to see her on a weekend instead of taking sick leave from work.

    Bodnar Chiropractic Center
They are personable and take good care of you. They do a good examination and analysis to identify the problem. The treatments have been very effective. People should expect good service and friendly staff. The doctor is a good listener.

    Family Chiropractic of Springfield
It went really well! I went in, the doctor assessed how far I could bend my neck, checked for strength/weaknesses, and was very thorough. Then, I went in this back room and had these sticky circles connected to wires that sent electric currents into my trapezius muscle (neck muscle) to loosen it up. Then I went back to the doctor and he twisted and cracked me in ways that I didn't think my body could do, but whatever he did, I walked out feeling taller and could actually turn my head. I wasn't 100% cured so I went back a few more times, but eventually the problem was fixed. MY ONLY *small" complaint is my doctor (and there is more than one doctor but I forget his name, sorry!) kept pointing out things that I was doing wrong, and it felt kind of condescending. He pointed out that I was chewing gum and that was bad for me because of artificial sugars and TMJ and how it might make me hungry/thirsty, he lifted my bag to put it onto a chair and made a remark of how heavy it was and how that was bad, told me that I shouldn't jog on the sidewalk and should run in the street because it was easier on my body.... maybe I'm not good at taking constructive criticism, and these things were probably going to help me in the long run, but I was miserable and in pain and the last thing I needed to do was get on my for chewing gum. It kind of just rubbed me the wrong way and made me very defensive. Other than that, my problem was fixed, I just had to take deep breaths when dealing with the doctor's remarks sometimes.

    Jacobs, Dr. Wendy J.
She's a miracle worker. Dr. Jacobs is very professional and very smart - her hunches about what's wrong with you are spot on. She fixed my back in the first two sessions, and my chronic heel pain has largely subsided. I still plan to go in about once or twice a month for and quot;routine maintenanceand quot; on my back, neck, and heels.

    Capitol Rehab of Annandale
I'm not from the DC area so when I hurt my back I had no idea where to go. I friend of my wife's told me about Dr. Compas. I was a little skeptical when I heard it was inside the gym. However I was in horrible pain. I called and Dr. Compas and he allowed me to come in that day! I hobbled in hunched over and walked out a new man. My wife and I have both become clients. Dr Compas really helped my wife through her pregnancy. We recently moved to Woodbridge but still drive in to see Dr. Compas. I would Highly recommend Capitol Rehab of Annandale.
