    Basement Masters Waterproofing
While Basement Masters was not the cheapest quote I received, Randal was by far the most detailed and professional of a half dozen project estimators who looked at the water intrusion into two separate basements of my home. He spent the time to analyze where the water was coming from, and design mitigtion plans for each basement. He explained to me where the underground water flow came from and why the cheaper solutions that other contractors were proposing would not work. He was absolutely right. His design included two sump pumps while other contractors proposed only a singe one. The second pump expels far more water that the one in the location that all other designs included. If I had gone with the cheapest rather than the correct solution I would have still had water intrusion and had to refinish the basement all over again a second time. His design, while more expensive in the short term, saved me a lot of time and money in the long run.

    S&S Waterproofing And Foundation Repair
This is a follow-up to my 6/12/2019 review: Our area recently experienced several instances of torrential rains resulting in basement flooding in a number of our neighbors' homes. Ours remained completely dry attesting to the quality of work provided by this company.

    S&S Waterproofing And Foundation Repair
We interviewed 12 different contractors before selecting this company for work on our 1895 basement. The majority could not (did not want to) perform the full scope of work or tried to sell us on other products that did not fully address our problem (old brick walls, no foundation, and a high water table). One company rep diagnosed the problem over the phone without ever coming to our house... During his first visit, Steve (the owner) listened to my concerns and recommended solutions in line with what we wanted to do without the high pressure we got from other sales reps. His team was HARD WORKING and courteous and, with the exception of an occasional snowstorm, finished everything in a timely manner. The total cost was competitive with other quotes that didn't fully meet our needs. We will likely need some minor work in another part of the basement as we remodel the floor above and his will be the only company we call.

    Brother's Waterproofing, LLC
John was great to work with, within one business day of contact he was onsite and provided a very thourough assessment. He described in detail all of the different options for my particulate issue as well as the benefits and risks of what my options were.

    S&S Waterproofing And Foundation Repair
S&S did a great job with our exterior waterproofing when we purchased our home. We had water intrusion on the wall that couldn't be excavated. They installed new drainage tile with sump pit and sump pump. The team completed the work in a day. Great experience with the crew.

    Cyrus Construction LP
Cyrus Construction provided excellent quality work in every detail. The renovation involved rebuilding the basement almost from scratch (walls, floors, ceilings, fireplace tiling), as well as building a wall closet and several storage spaces that did not exist before and their carpenters, especially Van, did a fantastic job and had good advice on the best way of doing things. Every time we had an issue their response was fast, polite and effective and James and Farzan take great care of their customers. The work was finished passed the original deadline but the good work compensated for the wait. We would definitely recommend and hire them again.

    Foundation Medix
I contacted Foundation Medix to have a sump pump installed in my crawlspace. While other experts had up to a three-week wait for an estimate, Foundation Medix scheduled an estimate for the upcoming Saturday. Phil was on time and very professional. He gave me an on-the-spot estimate to have a sump pump installed, which included the tedious job of digging a trench through my poured concrete floor, installing the drain system and sump pump with a new electrical line to my box, and repouring new concrete to grade. We got on the schedule quickly and his crew did an excellent job. Given that my crawlspace entry was located inside of my house, they were very careful performing the work. They also did a great job of removing all the debris in the crawlspace which was left clean and dry. I would highly recommend Foundation Medix.

    Family Drainage Solutions, Inc
I called and scheduled an appointment with the owner. They were a no show at the appointed date and time. I called at the time of appointment and left a message to find out what happened - they never called back. I understand these companies are busy (one company never did call me back to even set up an appointment). The no show irked me more because it wasted my time.

    Dave Payne Construction
Great! Dave's company waterproofed and painted my basement walls using Drylock Extreme and other materials. This was a big tasks since all the existing paint need to come off the walls first. Dave is a man of his promises. He guaranteed his work and he even came back over a year later to fix some small areas that didn't hold up as expected. I would definitely use Dave again for future work!!

    Drainage and Erosion Solutions
I was looking to hire a company to do something about my basement flooding and drainage issues in my yard when it rains. The person who came out for the assessment was condescending and unprofessional. It was very clear from the beginning that he didn't want to do the job. It seemed like he had somewhere else to be. When he came into the basement he didn't even look around to assess what needed to be done. After less than 5 minutes he said I needed a plumber. He wanted to leave when I said don't you want to look at the yard. It was a big waste of my time. I waited 3 weeks just to get the appointment and had to take time off from work for a 10 minute assessment. Other companies that came out spent at least 45 minutes.
