    MyEyeDr. - Stafford
Months ago I made online appointments for my 2 daughters. On the day of the appointment, we arrived a few minutes early. When I handed the receptionist the printouts confirming our 2 appointments, we were told that their records only had 1 and that we would have to make another appointment at a later date. Just to clarify, we had a printout of their system confirming both appointments. At this point, we just left. Over four months later, while trying to purchase contact lenses at another optical, we were told that our benefits had been "frozen" by another business. When i called my insurance company this morning, I found out that it was MyEyeDr placing the hold. Not only did this business make one of our appointments "disappear", but they placed an unauthorized hold on our eyeglasses benefits. I understand them placing a temporary hold on the exam, but they had no right to place a hold on the eyeglasses/contact purchase benefit since i never arranged to purchase them there. And on either case, keeping the hold for almost 5 months is ridiculous. While I found the online appointment scheduling very convenient and one of the main reasons I chose MyEyeDr, it became a moot point if the system doesn't work. On a side note, their waiting room was tiny and packed worse than the DMV. While I can't rate the quality of the optometrists at this facility, their business practice is awful.

    Fields, Dr. Kimberly A
I've been looking for a trustworthy optometrist for a couple of years and I finally found one...Dr. Fields.  She and her team are really caring folks who put the patient first.  I scheduled the appointment for my family and me by phone, went in a little early the day of the appointment to fill out some paperwork and the whole process went without a hitch.  The office is a well-oiled machine!  My family and I barely sat down when we started getting called in for our screenings and exams.  I couldn't believe how quickly the process went!  And that's a good thing.  I didn't feel rushed at all.  The technician explained everything she was going to do, had time for me to ask questions and she was very thorough.  As for Dr. Fields, she embodied professionalism and confidence.  She explained the entire vision check procedure in layman's terms and answered all my questions.  A great big bonus was her use of the photo scan to check the retinas.  It sure beats having to have my eyes dilated!  She is the first optometrist to offer that to me.  My entire family was grateful for the outstanding service Dr. Fields and her team provided.  One family member needed glasses and was given excellent assistance by the staff.  Much different experience from a previous optometry clinic.  With Dr. Field's we were not pushed to the most expensive glasses.  Instead, we were allowed to decide based on our needs and financial situation.  The entire staff put the patient first.  Thanks!

    Madison, Dr. Adam H.
I have been going to this practice for years. They have always been very courteous and professional. They will try to pitch you some tests that may not be necessary, but given the low price point I always err on the side of caution. I would definitely recommend them.

    Eyes In The ‘Burg
I arrived on time and handed in the registration paperwork they had sent to my email in advance of the appointment. The reception area is clean and uncluttered, they offer complimentary light refreshments and a comfortable, light filled area to sit and read a magazine or you can wander around and look at the frames displayed in this area. The doctor was prompt and friendly, made me feel very comfortable. She was thorough and efficient. One thing she did that I've never had an eye doctor do before: she put my contact lenses in for me. She was quick and had a steady hand so it wasn't a problem. Just interesting. My prescription had not changed from prior years. She scheduled me to return in a couple of weeks to follow up and pick up another set of contacts. I ended up having to reschedule the follow up twice. Finally I asked her to send me the prescription so I could order more contacts online. Due to the fact that I have worn contacts for years, my prescription did not change and I was having no difficulty with the brand of lenses she gave me, she faxed me the prescription without the follow up appointment. Totally satisfactory experience and I will be back.

    Lundberg, Dr. Pamela D.
My local optomotrist retied this year, and this was my first visit with Dr. Lundberg. I arrived on time and was immediately greeted by the receptionist. She was pleasant, vivacious and made the chore of filling out the forms a easy task. As soon as that was complete, the assistant/parapro walked me to the examination room and did the rudimentary tests for color blindness and depth perception. Dr. Lundberg quickly appeared once the preliminary work was completed. She is engaging, professional and took time to explain what she was seeing and to answer my questions. We discussed the newer machine for checking the optic nerve or whatever and its advantages and extra cost. I opted for it and felt the results were worth the extra out-of-pocket expense. Dr. Lundberg understood and addressed my several medical questions to my satisfaction. It was an excellent routine exam and I appreciated that Dr. Lundberg'geve me her undivided attention during the office visit. She is both pleasant and professional. I have found a new optomotrist and will certainly recommend her to family and friends.
