About Us

RedCliff Ascent is a therapeutic wilderness program for troubled teens ages 13-17. Located near Enterprise, Utah, RedCliff serves teens who struggle with substance abuse or who may have been diagnosed with conditions such as ADHD, ODD, bipolar, depression, or similar emotional and behavioral problems. In business for almost two decades, RedCliff Ascent has helped thousands of students and their families rebuild their relationships and restore trust. All Redcliff therapists are licensed professionals with doctoral or masters level degrees in counseling. They recognize that the child and the diagnosis are two completely separate components. Our therapy team understands that regardless of their diagnosis, many troubled teens are on a "developmental vacation." They lack the coping mechanisms, competancies, and discipline to manage their lives at an age appropriate level. RedCliff's therapeutic model interrupts this pattern and reinserts the child into an age appropriate progression. We help parents disrupt the dynamic, not just move it to a different location. RedCliff Ascent is NOT a bootcamp or any other kind of "camp." Families must agree to a 30 day minimum stay. Our average daily rate for the first 30 days is $440 per day plus an additional $1,000 fee for wilderness gear. Daily rate decreases after 30 days and once again after 60 days. The average student length of stay is 75 days. Please contact our admissions office at (800)898-1244 for complete information. RedCliff Ascent is licensed and regulated by the State of Utah Department of Human Services. We are members of the National Association of Therapeutic Schools and Programs (NATSAP) and the Outdoor Behavioral Healthcare Industry Council (OBHIC).
