Water leaking into basement

Called BaseCo based on reviews and recommendation from another contractor. Representative showed up right on time. After assessing my situation, he determined the cause was not foundation related, and therefore not something BaseCo could take care of. However, he did offer suggestions on what is likely happening, and some recommendations on companies that might be able to help. I appreciate their honesty, professionalism, and courtesy. Though there wasn’t anything they could do for me in this situation, I will call them again if a future need arises.

Seal crack in concrete wall of garage and add water intrusion protections.

BASEco was great, all around. The guy who met with me and provided an estimate was on-time, thorough, quick, and professional. The work was scheduled relatively quickly and the team that performed the work was awesome. Navigated around all the garage mess from our recent move-in and did the work as promised. It's been about 3 months since the work was done and no water in the garage!

Basement waterproofing and concrete lifting.

BASEco is the real deal. We had water coming into the basement where there is a low spot in the landscaping *and* the previous homeowners had put a sprinkler box there that had become mostly buried, had leaked and been repaired not long before. We suspected water had saturated the foundation wall. BASEco came out when they said they would, did what they said they would, and were courteous, prompt, and professional, and the price was very reasonable for how much work it was. They did some concrete levelling on that side of the house too and it looks great. Also very much to their credit: we had water on the basement floor awhile after their work was complete, called them, and they were promptly back to work on it and see what was up. We discovered that in the same area the sewer line had been quite degraded. They worked on it until it was obvious the damage went way beyond the scope we asked them to work on. They were great and if we need them again I won't shop around.

Basement Leak - Moisture Barrier and French Drain

Work went fine. Communication with Salesperson was difficult. Did not respond to direct messages. When I called the office, then they'd contact him and he would respond. Work coulddhave been done 3 weeks earlier and one leak episode avoided, if response had been prompt.

"Waterproof" basement by sealing three large cracks, covered walls with plastic, installed french drain style system along the floor of three walls, installed sump pump.

For some reason my house was a headache causing numourous visits (I think 6) before the job was complete. I don't doubt a sump pump system was needed but my original concern was moisture evaporating through the floor causing wet spots underneath boxes or other things sitting on our concrete floor. Although my new sump pump does a great job pumping water out, my original moisture problem is still a problem that i'll need to figure out on my own! They were always a pleasure to work with over the course of multiple visits and extremely understanding of my frustrations through the process. I would recommend their services but in general would avoid "waterproofing" service from any contractor as it's more like "water redirecting" into a sump that ultimatly didn't solve my original problem.

leveled driveway slab, sidewalk slabs, and front porch.

Great. The best thing about using the polyurethane type foam is that less holes and smaller holes are used; can't even hardly notice them. Everything went as described/estimated and there were no hidden costs. I highly recommend.

Lifted concrete slab under family room with polyurethane foam, and lifted and repaired concrete path outside as well.

The person who came and provided a quote was knowledgeable and helped us to understand what had happened to create the problem and explained in clear and simple terms how it could be fixed. We then got quotes from two competitors. The others talked about complicated solutions and needing bigger, messier, and more complex equipment whereas BaseCo had a simple solution that made sense to us and which was much more cost effective. The two workers were friendly and professional and worked very quickly to do the repairs. They were in and out in about 2.5 hours total time from when they arrived until things were cleaned up and they were gone. In addition, they discovered another issue on the path outside that had not been diagnosed and repaired it for us at the same time with the other repairs for no additional charge. I inspected the work and it was everything they had promised. I would not hesitate to recommend them to friends and family.
