  The worst customer service I have ever experienced. They only have a 3 day return period and right from get go system did not work properly. Spent $3k on security and home automation system. Sensors kept going offline and could not automate home automation systems. When I called customer service was on hold for 30 minutes and told they would set up a ticket. Following up later was told problem would be looked into, no definite solution. Decided to cancel and requested refund. Even worse experience. Was on phone for an hour just trying to cancel. Tech appointment to pull equipment was canceled by Vivint twice, with no reason. After first cancellation they told me because I didn't answer phone call confirming appointment it was canceled. I was at a friend's funeral and returned call within 3 hours. They told me that at that point I had missed 3 day cancellation period and could not refund now. I told them I would call my credit card company to dispute. Then they told me that scheduling had called because they could not make original appointment and were trying to get hold of me. Basically, excuses and lies to get me stuck with $3k of equipment that does not work very well. Finally after 2 calls totaling 2 hours on phone got tech to come and return equipment. Still waiting on refund. Avoid at all cost.

  We called Garage Doctors and they came over same day. Within minutes we had a game plan which included replacing the broken spring, installing new nylon rollers, and upgrading the other moving parts. Honestly I was shocked how quiet the garage door was by the time they were done with it! I was very impressed with the level of professionalism and the quality of service ...and the fact that they swept out my garage as a courtesy was an unexpected bonus! I'd absolutely recommend these guys -- they are awesome.

  Jake is fast, friendly, professional and extremely knowledgeable. He was able to troubleshoot and quickly resolve the issues I was having so my garage door could again function properly. I called him late morning and he came out to fix the problem later that afternoon. He arrived at the front end of the 2 hour time window he gave me earlier in the day and called me when he was 15 minutes out to let me know he was on his way. After diagnosing the problem, but before beginning the repair, he was upfront about the cost and there were no surprises.

  The repair person was new. I thought he did an okay job, but he wasn't able to completely diagnose or completely fix the problem (jerky and noisy open/close). I don't know if someone more experienced would have done better. He did give me a discount, and he was pleasant and punctual.

  Precision Door Service

  Was scheduled to come at 11:00. Called at 12;00 to say he was 15 min away. I called at 1 to find out where he was. The operator said he was stuck in traffic and would be here in 30 min. She also said he had tried calling me and there was no answer. I was home the whole time AND my caller ID had no record of an additional call from him. I called 45 minutes later (3 hours after the scheduled appointment) to cancel the appointment. There were no apologies and everyone I spoke to was very rude.
