We are new to the area and our daughter recommended the Vet office. We were a walk in with a very sick Labrador. The Dr came out and sat on the floor with the dog so he would not feel threatened by a person he did not know. He did some test, gave Duke a shot and then gave us some meds to take with us. Very satisfied with the Dr, his staff and especially the results.

I was able to schedule a vet appointment a week in advance. The vet tech who greeted us was very nice, and immediately reached out to pet the dog. We discussed the purpose of the visit. The wait time was not bad. The vet who met us examined the cat and the dog, she was very kind and talked soothingly to them while examining them. She administered vaccinations quickly, and neither animal seemed to experience much discomfort. She addressed our concerns, and said that they will send out a reminder when the next vaccinations are due. We live in Logan, but it seems worth it to go out of our way to Hyrum to visit a vet our pets like.

We traveled almost 4 hours to visit this vet since we live in a very rural area not served by vets. We had awoken to our cat being in a medical crisis, vomiting even water, lethargic, etc. Dr. Bice's office squeezed us into an already busy day. His staff was kind, understanding, and helpful. Dr. Bice listened carefully and asked pertinent questions. He advised a complete change in how we manage our cat's diabetes, showing us how to test a blood sugar curve ourselves (because we're so far away from his office) to be sure the change is working and sufficient, and recommending a change in the type of insulin we use. We hadn't been told any of this by our prior vet who, in fairness, is mostly a large animal vet. Dr. Bice checked in with us repeatedly to be sure he wasn't overloading us with information (he wasn't) and was absolutely up to speed with the latest in feline diabetes management theories including nutrition. He provided options and gave both sides of treatment and nutrition schools of thought. He was very gentle with our cat and very patient with us and our many questions. He also checked our cat's teeth and ears and advised on keeping both healthy without spending a lot of money. The cost of the visit was also reasonable. We feel like we hit the jackpot in veterinary care and will both use and recommend Dr. Bice to everyone we know.

Excellent!  They greeted me when I walked in and made sure who I was and who I was bringing in (my dog) and called us by name after that, then the vet tech weighed my dog and led us to an exam room where information was taken about my dog (age, what, if anything, needed to be addressed, how I perceived his health to be, his eating/drinking habits, and temperature was taken, etc).  Within 5 minters the Vet came in and was very pleasant and professional, but personal at the same time, so I felt like I was a valued client. We talked about my dog while the Vet examined him and made him feel comfortable while doing so. He then excused himself while he retrieved the shots, and was back withing 3 minutes. He gave my dog his shots very carefully and my dog wasn't bothered by them at all. We talked about how my dog would feel afterwards and then the Vet gave him a treat for being so good. Then the Vet took my dog for some blood work so we could start him on heartworm medication. When they returned about 5 minutes later, the Vet said all was good and handed me the package of heartworm medication and explained how to administer it.  He shook my hand and patted my dog's head and I went to the front desk to checkout.

Casey Wittwer has been our vet for several years. He has taken care of several dogs and is always patient, kind, informed and professional. My last visit was very difficult as my sweet dog Bear was being put to sleep due to renal failure. It was heartbreaking for me and a lot of tears on my part. What a comfort to feel the compassion of Dr. Wittwer and his assistants. They were crying right along with me. I have since moved to Northern Utah and don't think I will ever find another veterinary office like this one!

The price was about average of other places I’ve gone.  It was an average of $30-$35 per visit.  They did their stuff, they charged me.  He’s pretty good. He didn’t do anything bad and he seemed to know what he was talking about.  He was nice.

Dr. Hannig is a wonderful Vet, he loves animals and it shows in his work! I am thrilled to have found him. He even has you call him after seeing your animal to let him know how things are going. I highly recommend Red Hills Animal Hospital. :)

One year later you would not be able to tell that the dog had surgery on that leg. She runs just like before, and this is a very active dog. The scar healed perfectly. And the entire staff is wonderful. I especially like that they have an office manager. You don't just run into a different front desk person every single time. The cost of the surgery was also reasonable. I can endorse this vet wholeheartedly.

    Price, Dr. David K.
it is much easier to have the vet come to our farm. spring time is the time to have our horses looked after for general health and the various shots that they require. also their teeth should be examined. i have used this horse vet for about 4 years and my only regret is that i did not use him sooner. [we moved here 4 years ago] dr. price is, without question, the best horse vet i have ever had the pleasure of using. he is very intelligent and his knowledge is impressive. my horses and i are very lucky to have him.
