    Disaster Doctors
Carlos at Disaster Doctors came promptly, evaluated and explained what needed to be done to resolve the damage problem. Carlos was personable, great to work with for removal of damaged area and made sure we knew what to expect. He did the removal of damaged area professionally and gave the evaluation information to Sabrina for the repair work estimate. Sabrina scheduled the replacement of insulation, drywall, paint and carpet. Brandon did well to replace insulation, drywall, do mud and painting quickly, smoothly and cleaned up well. We were pleased they all kept the process moving along smoothly and kept us informed along the way. They made sure they took care of what we expected. We will use them again, if needed.

    Las Colinas Engineering
Purchase and delivery went outstanding, LCE coordinated delivery of equipment direct with customer and provided full start-up services and additional onsite customer training. As a customer, LCE pays their invoices promptly and well ahead of standard NET-30 Terms. Las Colinas Engineering is my go to company for UPS and Power Quality Equipment, Residential Generators, power distribution and those hard to find power related items my customers always find a need for. Wish more vendors were as responsive and dedicated as LCE.

    EAGLE ENVIRONMENTAL INC
Before finishing the basement of my 1928 house, I knew we'd have to deal with the asbestos wrapped heating ducts.  A realtor suggested Eagle Environmental to me, and guessed the cost would be around $1500.  Chris at Eagle Environmental was able to describe over the phone exactly what was there -- I'm sure they've seen this in dozens of older homes.  Chris stopped by to inspect the site, take a few photos for records, and provided an estimate.  Since I would be finishing the basement, Eagle planned on removing the old ductwork, rather than scrapping off the asbestos and keeping the ductwork.  Modern ductwork has a much slimmer profile. The estimate was provided on a Thursday, and they were able to do the work on the following Monday.  It took just over 6 hours to complete everything.  Half of the time was spent sealing off the basement to contain the asbestos while they worked.  Crew leader Robert did an excellent job managing his crew.  They completed the work quickly and correctly.  There was minor damage to a small section of ceiling when they removed one of the ventilation boots.  Robert noted the damage, took pictures, and notified his company.  Eagle sent out a person the next day and repaired the damage.  I was very satisfied with that response. There aren't many reviews on Angies List for Salt Lake area asbestos removal.  I was worried about how much it might cost, and how much trouble it would be to remove asbestos.  Eagle's estimate was right in line with what the realtor guessed.  Eagle handled everything as expected.  Their professional manner removed my worry along with the asbestos.

Jeff came over to my house himself. He was attentive, informative, and really enjoyed the service he provided.  He was very detailed regarding what he would do, what to expect, and who would be doing the work.  His team was clean and professional and provided exactly what I had paid for.  It was a great experienced  overall.  I would recommend edge environmental for anyone needing asbestos removed.

    Dixon Information
Dixon Information provides asbestos testing (closest category was "asbestos removal"). In Utah, the testing company cannot be the same company that removes it.  If you contact an asbestos removal company, they can give you some names of testors.  I found Dixon Information by other means. I have an older home (1928) that had paper wrapped ventilation ducts.  When I bought the home, the inspector noted "probably asbestos".  It wasn't a big deal then, but is a big deal today.  Before I could finish the basement, I had to have that paper tested.  Pretty simple process. I took a small sample and placed it in a sandwich bag.  I took the sample to Dixon Information and filled out a single sheet of information.  For $25, I had results back the next day.  Quick.  Simple.  Exactly what I needed.

    Sears Home Appliance Showroom
The sales people were efficient.  They got me set up with my credit and they worked with me to get the best deal and the promotions that were available for that time period.  The installers were good, they were very efficient. They got the refrigerator to the house without damages.

    AAA Restoration Emergency
This was the third restoration company that we used in our attempts to clean up the moldy mess in our bathroom (from an attic water leak). How we wish we had contacted them first! Nick Oliver was excellent when he came to assess the problem and give an estimate. He was a great listener as well as an excellent communicator of what needed to happen to make our home safe for our family. He took his time, looked at all angles of the problem, and e-mailed a line-by-line estimate to me that same afternoon. (Nick was also very good with my young children, who pestered him with stories and wanted his attention. Thank you!) Nick also accompanied the team to my house when they got started with the project. He gave them very clear directions about what needed to be done and was available to them by phone throughout the two long days that they worked here. The crew was also very patient with my children and worked around us very well. They set up containment barriers and did a great job of keeping the mold and asbestos in the areas where they were working. Countless bags of trash were hauled from the bathroom out my front door, but our living area remained quite clean, especially considering the major demolition happening in the next room. It took three men two long days to complete the job. The entire time, I heard only positive words between them - never cussing or complaining. They actually seemed to enjoy working together, which kept the atmosphere in my home pleasant. The crew supervisors on both days were great at communicating progress to me. Successes, as well as problems or areas of concern, were brought to my attention, which made me feel like they were working for me and not just around me. In the end, our bathroom was totally gutted and construction-ready. The mold was taken care of, and we didn't have to worry about asbestos dust as we moved forward with a DIY bathroom remodel. We absolutely would have hired AAA Restoration to complete the remodel, but we couldn't afford it. If we ever need a remodel or demolition job done in the future, AAA Restoration will be the first company we will contact.

They were on time, professional, and their price was right. They had an excelent turn around time of less than 24 hours, which was critical because we needed to make a due diligence deadline.

    UDK - Utah Disaster Kleenup
They were very professional and thorough in their work and came when they were expected. Complications arose and they were unable to finish at the agreed upon time and left the house in an unfinished state for several days while they worked for other clients. They apologized and worked to put us on the schedule and came and finished at the next opening in their schedule.
