    Jacoby Company, Inc.
Our experience with Cory and Gary was excellent from beginning to finish. We had over 30 windows in our home in Deer Valley, Utah. Cory's ideas and suggestions were well thought out, and she has a fantastic eye for color and design. We ended up using Hunter Douglas Pirouettes, solar screens and blackout solar screens, many of which were motorized. It was a difficult job because we had lots of angled windows, many sliding doors and a variety of goals. Gary's installation was precise and meticulous. It was a pleasure to work with both of them, the final outcome is beautiful and we recommend them fully!

The work was fabulous - their punctuality, attention to detail, and dependability. They provided a perfect service. I recommended them to several people already.

    HOME TOUCH WINDOW FASHIONS
Fantastic! Susan spent as much time as I needed to choose window coverings for main floor and bedrooms. Order was perfect, installer she uses was very efficient and polite. The finished look is so beautiful--transformed the rooms.

    Stanfield Shutter
We chose Stanfield Shutters because of their decent reviews, along with the fact that their price was similar to a company we used years ago (some windows more, some less). Grant was great to give us a quick estimate over the phone, then followed up quickly with an in-home estimate. Expectations for timing on the install were spot on, as we got a text asking to setup the install very close to when we were planning for it. Then it was downhill from there. The day they wanted to install, I was specific about concerns with three people working from home that day in some of the rooms that needed the install (thank you Covid-19). I was assured that they would come at a specific time (that would have worked). However, the installers showed up 1/2 hour later than I was told. Long story short, the installers were very rude, as I later learned that they didn't like being told to do the basement first, as I had to use my office because they were late. Add to it, I had someone's fist pounding on my office door, followed by yelling through the door, followed by proceeding without so much as a polite ask if it's okay, as I was on the phone with a client. I also got snapped at with a raised voice when I told him I was working, which is absolutely unacceptable to me as a paying customer. I literally only needed 2 minutes to wrap up a call, which he didn’t even bother to ask. I have security camera footage of the mistreatment by the installers, neighbors who witnessed the yelling that took place in my front yard, a copy of the text confirming an exact time and my concerns about that morning. However, when speaking to Gary (the person who called me about the issue and told me he was “what I was going to get” when I asked for a supervisor or owner) I was told about their policies and that they should have left if the rooms weren't all available. He said the scheduler wasn't there to defend herself when I let him know they were supposed to be there at a set time but told me "you've got a text I guess." In reference to the installers, I got "there's two sides to every story". When my neighbor called about what he witnessed to encourage them to talk to their installers about how to treat customers and impact their brand he got "there's two sides to every story." Evidently customers don't come first with this company. They must have enough work that they aren't worried about their mistreatment of my family, as I got more defense and scolding about not being prepared than actual apologies. Gary even implied that there was furniture in the way that the installers shouldn’t move, and again should have left because of it. However, the only “furniture” that had to be moved was a small basket of toys I hadn’t moved yet when the installer barged into my office. Really? This was their defense? The only saving grace was that Grant, the estimator, came to our home to finish the rushed job the installers left. He cleaned up the seams, did some touch up paint, adjusted some loose louvers and couldn’t have been more polite. He even waited two minutes for my son to get off a call for work to touch up the shutters in his room, without complaint. It’s unfortunate he wasn’t the installer. Evidently they only have one installation team. For that reason, along with Gary’s handling of the issue, I would absolutely caution anyone from using their company. I would NOT recommend.

    Stanfield Shutter
Because we recently moved, this is our second time working with Stanfield. Stanfield sent a rep as our new windows were being installed so exact measurements could be made. They then rushed manufacture of the shutters to meet our timing request. The installers arrived on the appointed day and the installation was perfect. We love our Stanfield plantation shutters! Both installers were clean and friendly. We would recommend Stanfield to anyone!

    Aspen Blinds & Drapery
We had roller shades installed in our home. We paid a little over $8000. Just to find out the person who installed them incorrectly, was a newer addition to the company. We had a hard time initially trying to figure out what we actually wanted to do. Angela, the sales associate seem to be very nice but did lack communication skills. I notice she became agitated when I couldn’t make up my mind. It’s a large purchase, you know? Anyway after we decided to go with them and they took our money Upfront, the installer was a 20 year old kid that spent 10 hours in our home installing these roller shades. And a couple of days later we noticed major issues with them. We contacted Angela back To Let her know we were having issues. She stated, that the installer was sick and could get them fixed ASAP when he came back to work. Supposedly he was the only installer, from what I understood. Meanwhile we also purchased dust covers for $905.50. But 24 hours later we contacted the sales agent to let her know we needed to cancel one of the rooms, but she said it was too late they were already in production and being custom-made. I contacted The owner, and it all went downhill from there. Almost 3 weeks later we still do not have our dusters and we have shades that were installed incorrectly. The owner blamed it on COVID-19. But then I was told by Angela, the sales associate, the company was very small and they didn’t have any other installers. But After paying so much money we just decided to cancel out the dust covers all together for our shades Because nothing was getting done correctly and in a timely manner, you were honestly frustrated and just wanted to go with someone else because they had no idea and the desk covers we’re going to actually arrive. We were sick of the runaround. We were told that we could not get our money back for the dust covers, so we feel tricked into purchasing something that was not guaranteed customer satisfaction with this company. There are a lot of other things that happened in the interim of all of this. The sales agent made remarks about the owner a few times, stating he was very hard to To work for that’s why he had a few employees. She also noted that his wife, Kierstin was a bit overbearing. I’m not sure what’s going on with this company. But all of their company drama should have nothing to do with their clients. Geoff Larson Sent me some pretty nasty emails because I was unsatisfied with what they had done so far. They don’t tell you initially that you cannot have your money back if you are dissatisfied. They only tell you that after the fact. I don’t suggest that anyone go with this company. I also found out that photos they have use to advertise their business comes from the Internet and not from actual jobs they’ve done. Also a lot of the five star reviews come from some employees, friends and family. It took me a bit of digging, but now I can see it as I’m connecting the names and family members. They don’t tell you initially that you cannot have your money back if you are dissatisfied. They only tell you that after the fact. I don’t know what kind of issues this company has, but obviously there’s some big ones. Especially when the owner argues with customers over Google reviews and then turns around and deletes company feedback to those folks. Mr. Larson even went as far as to harass me on my YouTube video containing a review about his company and showing the blinds that we purchased that were horrible. There is an attorney Who has seen the blinds, and the comment made to me that was utterly creepy. This guy is very creepy. Telling me he wanted to be friends with me, to keep going with my review. 😳 He eventually deleted that comment too but not until I snapshot it. It was obviously a fake account. Because it disappeared quickly. I let Mr. Larson know, that I did not want him anywhere near me or in my home. He was insistent on coming to my house, to finish up the job that was not done in the first place. This guy sounds Psychotic! Do not let him in your home. The way he treated me was deplorable! It’s funny how he avoids my husband though. It tells me something about the so-called business man- owner. Please just be leery of who you hire and who you let come into your home. Also they take all of the money upfront. That is another indication that maybe something is not right. They also charge a high percentage if you use a credit card. They want cash or check only. That is another deciding factor when considering doing business with somebody. They try to convince you not to use a credit card so that you cannot do a chargeback, I should’ve seen this coming . They try to convince you to not use a charge card by charging you a high Percentage to charge your purchase. Trust your instincts and go with someone else. I should’ve done that initially as soon as the sales associate started complaining about the owner and his wife. I should’ve known better. You can check out my YouTube video, just go to YouTube and put in Aspen Blinds And Draperies review. I actually take you through my entire house and show you the problems with these blinds. It’s been over three weeks, almost a month and they are still not fixed. They delivered dusters to my door that they were supposed to install. Even after I told them over two weeks ago that I did not want them. They had fed ex drop them off at my house. Just don’t use this company for your own good. Sorry I have to post this review. The owner was not even Nice or apologetic for all the issues we have had with them. This is not what people want when they hire a company to do a job. I don’t need free, all I wanted was what I paid for. That was too much to ask apparently! Please check out my YouTube video so you can see exactly what I’m talking about with the roller shades that we had issues with just a couple of days after they were installed. [*** Link removed ***]

COIT Cleaning and Restoration of Salt Lake City
Kelly was absolutely wonderful and was very experienced in working with our old style draperies. The drapes were clean and refresh. They are hard to hang and take down, but Kelly clearly new what she was doing. I was amazed at how quickly she was able to put them up and down. She also referred me to a great place to get my 30+ year old sheer replaced. I would completely recommended to anyone!

    Wadley Services
We contracted for windows and blinds to be cleaned.  When the serviceman got to the site, he found a few blinds that needed minor repair.  There were tracks that also needed repair.  He seemed willing and able to do the repairs that were needed.  Yes, he charged extra for the additional repairs that were not a part of the original agreement, but stayed on the job until the service was done... Like I say, he went beyond expectations.

They did a fabulous job, we just purchased the house and the windows were very dirty.  They worked fast and hard all day- it was a lot of work with 3 stories of windows, gutters, etc. They took care to clean up after themselves and the only evidence that they were even here was that the windows were crystal clear :) and the rain gutters were clear for the storm that hit a few days later (windows are still clean, too)  I signed up for the 3 times a year outside cleaning, so yes I would hire them again!  They have a lot of extra services and I like one stop shopping! AND THEY WERE ON TIME AND EASY TO GET A HOLD!

    Stanfield Shutter
Went very well. They were always professional and punctual. We really did an upgrade to our home. They look lovely. The new shutters should also help with the insulation in the basement.
