Called for an appointment to see if I could be seen today. My dog is coughing nonstop. Was told over the phone to "bring him right in" with no mention of a wait time and was told to leave him in the car while being checked in. It's 94 degrees outside. Sign on door does not say 24 hours and says for emergencies to go to the other door. While looking around for the other door, another dog was checked in before me (even though I was already at the correct door in the first place). After being let in, waited nearly 15 minutes with my dog in a baking car without so much as being greeted. This was far more stressful on my dog than just letting him stay home to get some rest. And a three hour wait is definitely something I should have been told about over the phone before wasting my time driving in. I will be looking elsewhere for emergency care.

As well as possible. To be honest, she was so healthy in every other way. She was on a diet for arthritis that had her barely with a limp. They even recommended the diet as opposed to much more expensive options. I didn't care. I wanted her as comfortable as possible. She was on a pain med and the diet, and barely had a limp, mainly in her front leg, despite the well documented issue with hips in Golden Retrievers. Not my girl, thank heavens. I have had nothing but great service, as well as having a generous payment plan for the final bill. They will be the Veterinarian service for my new Golden pup, Pride. I have included a picture of her when she turned 12. The other, her last night. She was positively glowing! She slept the whole night in bed with me. The first time in many years. Prior to that, it was stay until I was asleep, then right on the floor next to my bed. Kinda hard to step over, but a warmer foot rug there never was. The next day, her last, required her to stay overnight for tests that needed to be run. No one expected her to pass, but some small "growths" had been detected. The picture taken was when we brought her home after a completely unknown bout of nausea hit her around 5. We took her in, they treated the nausea, which is why she was so peaceful, and we had a great night. I took her in around 2:00 pm. Couldn't stand her not being home and went back at 5:00. Her leg was all bandaged from tube for IV that was in. She was in a very large cage that gave her plenty of room to move around and even walk around. Even so, I asked, and they moved her to a large area with a boundary like a kindergarten area. She put her great head in my lap, and stayed like that for about 45 minutes. Then, she gave a big sigh, groan-time for sleep. So I said goodbye. The next morning, at 7:45 the doctor called with the sad news. In her entire life, the most uncomfortable she had ever been was the 45 minute bout of nausea that was relieved immediately. The pictures of a 12 year and 5 month old Golden Retriever speaks for itself. Thanks in no small part to the expert care she received at Brickyard Animal Hospital.

I've brought my cats to Jerry for a number of years. He's always been soft-spoken and competent. However, during my last visit, he was incredibly impatient with my questions. He closed his eyes and sighed several times, obviously irritated with me for asking questions and/or irritated I brought along my two children, one of whom wants to be a vet. I understnd everyone has a day when they feel "off," so I gave him a second chance a few months later. Same attitude, wow. I've never had such impatience with my questions. I'm also not convinced my cats needed the bottle of $70.00 vitamin pills he sold me, twice. And the alopecia on one of my cats was not addressed properly. another vet diagnosed fungal infection and it has responded well. Not going back again.

I cannot explain to you how happy I am with their service. They were so kind and caring and empathetic to our circumstances. I have never, nor any of my pets, been treated so well. I have and will continue to recommend them to anyone that will listen. If you love your animals like family, take them here!

Linda walks my dog 3-4 times a week, on days I work. She does a fabulous job! She doesn't just walk my dog, she talks to her, brushes her & treats her very well! I am very happy to have her taking care of my dog. It is hard having a large dog in an apartment. We used to have a huge yard & my dog had the run of it all day. So having Linda walking my dog during the day is very, very helpful!

    Rascal's Ruff House
It went very well and we've booked Rascals Ruff House for two future trips. Our cats are very sociable and their behavior when we returned home showed they had been well-cared for during our absence. With previous providers, our cats were always frantic when we returned. With Rascals, our cats are happy and contented when we return.
We are so comfortable that we take longer trips since Rascals became our cat care provider. We've used Rascals services for 2 years and they have exceeded our expectations. We feel fortunate to have such honest, reliable, friendly people care for our cats and visit our home.

Michelle loves dogs, and her heart is truly in what she does.  Our dogs are crazy about her.  This is obvious, when she walks through the door, and our dogs run wild with wagging tails to greet her!

They are a convenient location and they have vets on staff on the weekends. They also are the emergency vet service on weekends and overnight. They have fantastic vets. We have used them for general veterinary checkups on three dogs. One dog is elderly, 14 years old, he is doing great, but he is older. The other two are two French bulldogs, two and three years old. We have used them for ear infections, which are not emergencies. We also had an emergency situation with one of the Frenchies. They had to do surgery on him and it was amazing. They did a good job. They have our loyalty now and are really good. They also have an arrangement with a boarding kennel downstairs.

Kanda Hazelwood is our regular vet but we have worked with a number of other vets in the practice and we are very pleased with all their professionalism, compassion and social interaction.  The vets regularly meet appointment time and they make my lab feel as comfortable as possible.  They always present us with treatment and cost options.
We very much appreciate that the vets/staff follow up a few days after an appointment to see how our dog is progressing.

    Merry Pets
I have been using Merry Pets for almost a year for hikes, overnight pet sitting and midday walks while we're away and Merry and her staff are excellent with communication both before and during our time away. They take great care of our dog and I always feel like my dog is well cared for and safe!
