Green River Construction and Home Inspections
Steve was awesome at coming out to get the ceiling repaired He matched the texture and paint and it looks like it never happened. He even went above and beyond to touch up paint in other areas of the bathroom when the project was complete. I would highly recommend him for all jobs, large or small, and we plan to use him for future projects as well.

    Lift-Up Concrete
We contacted Gregory, (the owner) and he came out to see what needed to be done and gave us a bid. We had patio concrete that had dropped and needed to be lifted or leveled. Gregory was professional and down to earth and personable. He explained their process very thoroughly. Gregory gave us the best bid in comparison to others we'd received. We later contacted Gregory saying we wanted to go ahead with his company doing the work. His workers (Scott and another man) came out on Monday, October 1st, and did the job. They arrived a little early and did the whole thing in about 2 hours or so. Afterwards, Scott stayed for a short time to chat and make sure we were good with things. He was the same as Gregory - personable and down to earth. We appreciate the service we received and the quality of work as well. Thanks! :)

    American Maintenance Pros
Ivan and Jake did an excellent job and the subs they used were very good also. They were always upbeat and happy to arrive at my home to work. Ivan always has great ideas about how to make things work better. He gave me tips on cleaning off permanent marker and making drawers slide more easily. They had lots of drop cloths to put down on my existing flooring so it wouldn't get damaged. I would definitely hire them again.

We needed the gravel held down 2" below footings to accommodate radiant heat insulation.  Workers over filled the gravel by ~1.25".  However, when notified they came the same day and raked it down to the appropriate grade.  For the service they offer, it is a good value and I would use them again.

    American Maintenance Pros
First off, the email on their website ( is no good. I emailed and didn't hear back but since the other reviews said how prompt they were I tried filling out the little form and heard back almost immediately. Ivan came by to get a quote in a few days and received the official quote a day later. It was cheaper than we expected so we set it all up. They honored the quote even though a couple minor things came up like adding extra framing for the drywall. The drywallers did their thing on Thursday and finished sanding Friday. On Monday, Ivan and a couple other people came and did the trim, set the new toilet, existing sink and shower. Our basement had flooded a few years ago before we bought it so everything had been stripped and disassembled.  Overall I'd definitely use them again. They are very trustworthy and concerned about making sure the job was done right. After they were finished, a couple things come up (the door settled and wasn't closing properly and the sink was a few inches away from the wall and I thought it looked weird) and Ivan came back a few days later and fixed them in a couple hours. He didn't even charge because he wanted everything to be perfect. I was pretty nervous about hiring someone to finish our basement because of hearing other peoples bad experiences and am so glad we hired these guys because they're great!

    #1 Concrete Lifting
Communication was always good with both Mark and his area manager; Josh. Josh was actually very helpful with advice. He came out to our house, reviewed the situation and gave me an understandable explanation of how to both remedy things (no footers on one end of our older home) and how to protect against future damage. He spent probably 20mins detailing different options and their effectiveness. At that first meeting I knew Josh was my choice for the job, I just needed to verify their licensing/insurance and arrange funding. Seemed like a done deal. Mark Loertscher was very forthcoming with offers to show us evidence of insurance. Right before I was ready to issue payment, I went to verify licensing and am left doesn't exist for this company as a 'contractor'. Kim at Utah DOL Professional Standards and Licensing said that an application has been submitted for #1 Concrete Lifting as a business but it's not approved yet...I was told that they've been working for YEARS but maybe under another name...and that Mark has a business license but is not himself a Licensed Contractor. Our written bid asked that checks/payment be made directly to him. Lastly, the BBB shows an "F rating" and says that they've had 4 compaints against them; two in 2011 and two in 2009. The most recent ones were resolved. If one of these situations existed I'd probably call for an explanation and move forward...but  the sum has me hitting my brakes. I still want to use them!!!!  Josh has me convinced that he not only knows what he's doing but has our best interests at heart. I just can't justify going with a corporation that isn't recognized as 'licensed' by the State of Utah. If that issue were resolved, I'd probably ask Mark about the BBB issues and move forward...if we ever buy another house and need help I'll probably pull out Josh's card and see if they are ready by then. Right now, I'm too rattled to feel confident about this provider...who has never acted in any way other than professional. It's the paperwork that's not in order. All things considered, I feel compelled to move on.

    R C Bundy Inc
hiI hired Ryan and his crew for this job with the understanding that they would be the ones doing the job. It didn't turn out that way. When I checked in with him a two week before the agreed upon start date, he mentioned he was in line for a large, lucrative contract, but would honor the agreement we had made. After some back and forth, the job started on the agreed date, but with a concrete contractor Mr. Bundy hired  from a neighboring state. He was not upfront about substituting his company for another. While work was done quickly, it was sloppy in some areas: uneven brush work, uneven corners, 1/2 of garage floor is blotchy and concrete splattered on the side of the house. The work was not done the way we contracted it. In addition, he didn't have to pay between $300-$400 in dump fees as a neighbor took the demolition concrete saving him the transportation costs and dump fees. The truck's tags were expired.  When I asked about sharing the savings, he rudely turned down the request. Instead of billing for the job, he showed up the day after the concrete was poured to pick up the illegal truck,  inspected the job and asked for payment. He didn't have much to say about some of the problem areas we pointed out. When two contractors supposedly are responsible for a job, nobody's responsible.
