About Us

Social, emotional, and behavioral skills are critical for overall health and wellness. Withdrawal, worry, and persistent sadness may be signs that a person is overwhelmed beyond their capacity to cope. Kids in distress may demonstrate school problems, aggression, or substance use. My model of care utilizes Cognitive-Behavioral Therapy (CBT), focusing on ways in which your thoughts may contribute to life problems - and how you can feel better by thinking or acting a little differently. CBT has been an effective means to reduce distress and improve relationships. My model of care focuses on healthy habits, such as daily stress management and assertive communication skills. Healthy habits are the building blocks for a lasting coping style that helps people bounce back from stressful situations and face future challenges.
