DFirst time we came in they thought I couldn't speak English. Then they botched my dogs surgery and sent her to the emergency center. After I got a call to come get her in the afternoon I went and the doctor at the EC said the alta nurse picked her up around 1:00 .The doctor wanted to run more test and the doctor said that alta would cover the fee of their F*** up. But nope lady said that there was a communication error. Told her we speak English and she was surprised. Then there was a lot of cursing each other out. Then the lady on the phone has the gaul to smugly say that we still have to pay to get our dog. So were is the error and why are we paying four $ times the amount for you're mess?

VETERINARY CARE & GROOMING FOR DOGS & CATS.

FProbably the worst experience I've ever had was when I went to say goodbye to my cat at Hunter Animal Hospital. They did advise that they were busy ahead of time, but that they could fit me in and I'd have to come and just wait, which was perfectly fine with me. The front staff has always been courteous and friendly, but there is one doctor there that I would never recommend, nor would I go near again, and that's Dr. Mike. He has to be the most insensitive, uncaring and uncompassionate veterinarian that I've ever met in my entire life. The nurse, who didn't provide her name (and I didn't catch it off her name tag) was also extremely rude when I had a few questions about how the procedure/process worked. To start with, I asked about how euthanasia works since I'd never had to do this before. I asked if they put him to sleep first, and then give him the injection to stop his heart. The nurse said no, but they could sedate him which would help him fall asleep. When I asked her "okay, so that will make him fall asleep?" She looked at me like I just asked her what 2+2 was, and replied with "NO, it won't make him fall asleep. We DON'T put him to sleep first." Followed by a really irritated look on her face. Then, they asked me if I wanted the doctor to come in right away after putting the catheter in my kitty, and I said yes. He told me what the injection would do, and without hesitation, words or regard for my situation, gave the injection, and walked out. He didn't check to see if there was a heartbeat, didn't ask if I was ready before he did it, and then as he was walking out I was YELLING at him to come back (because my cat was having agonal breathing and myoclonus, which since this was my first time experiencing a situation like this, freaked me out and I had NO idea that would happen), and he just kept walking away. He FINALLY turned around, dismissed my concern as if I should have known that would happen, handed my dead cat back to me, and walked out, again without saying a word. I was not prepared for what was going to happen, and no one really cared that this was a sensitive moment for me. I was beyond livid and extremely distraught from how my last moments went with my best friend. I was a regular customer/patient at this location and I will NEVER set foot in there again after this. I will share this as far and wide as I possibly can to ensure no one makes the same mistakes that I did by taking my pet to Hunter Animal Hospital.

Bountiful Animal Hospital had its humble beginnings in 1967, when Dr. Boyd Martin took it upon himself to establish the first veterinary clinic in Bountiful, Utah. By 1984 his son, Dr. John Martin, followed in his father's footsteps, joining the practice and eventually taking over ownership in 1989. Since then, our family-owned clinic has flourished and grown to include two accredited veterinarians, three technicians, two receptionists and one kennel technician.

AI made the appointment about 1.5 weeks out. They took my dog Emmie in around 10:30AM and I picked her up around 4:30PM. Because the Lagotto is a rare breed they had never worked on the breed. They were very good a doing research to learn how to properly groom the bread. They listened very very well to my requirements. They also took great care in making sure Emmie was comfortable and took plenty of time to ease her into their keep. I will return to have Emmie groomed every 4-6 months. The price may be a higher than other groomers but well worth it.

AKibbles & CutsI dropped by to see if they would be able to groom my 3 standard poodles. The staff were very friendly and accommodating. They said that they could get my 3 dogs in that very day which, frankly, surprised me as that is a lot of grooming. However, when I dropped off the dogs later in the day the groomers, Hailey, Carrie and Kaleigh came out to greet me and the dogs. They were very professional and the dogs took to them immediately. The dogs were done in a timely manner and when I went to get them they looked amazing. I know how hard it is to do a good grooming on a standard poodle as I usually do my own grooming. They were wonderful and the dogs were not stressed. When I initially went to inquire and I told them that i usually do my own grooming the owner offered me the lesser cost option of the use of a self service grooming room. That was very good of him but I opted to have them groomed.- Kerry D.
