  • I and my son have been patients of Dr. Carmodys for several years now. After two surgeries and one out-patient procedure we never have we had any problems with our interactions with him or the staff at his old office. Since his move, however, it has been nothing but problems with him and his staff. First I didn't receive notice until the day he moved. Since I was trying to coordinate with two other doctors in his old office, this gave me no time to do anything about it. When I went to the new office, I sat for 30 minutes before they gave me about 12 sheets of "new" paperwork to complete and then they would put my file. When I asked why I sat so long without it, they didn't really give me an answer but said they would put my file up as soon as my paperwork was done. So 45 minutes after my appointment time I was now "next" in line to be seen. Why they don't have it on line or have you come in early to do it like most other doctor's offices is anyone's guess. Finally, after an hour the medical assistant realized the information from my last visit had not transferred. I waited another 15 minutes and then decided without those records there was really no reason for my visit. Needless to say I was very angry when I left. When I called to talk to the head of the office, Ramona, she refused to do anything to in order to speed up my waiting process when I came back. I even offered to be there when they opened. Her main reason was she couldn't make other patients miss their appointment times because she let someone else in first. Funny they had no problem letting me sit in the waiting room while they took patients with appointment times after mine in. When I tried several times to reach Dr. Carmody to see if he could help me out, he called back and left a nasty message in which the wording definitely implied he didn't know the full story at all. How he could not even bother to listen to what a patient and a mother of a patient, who have a good history with him, has to say is beyond me. I can say this though, he will never have to worry about talking to or dealing with me or my son again.

  • BEWARE OF TEXAS PAIN RELIEF GROUP!  Try and go anywhere else possible.  I started seeing them from 10/15 to 5/16, the same doctor.  I was charged my normal copay until I had met my out of pocket limit for insurance and then they did not charge me a copay after that.  I never received a bill from them until 9-10 months after my first visit.  Then I received one bill for $1036 dollars and another bill for $3505.  When I contacted TPRG I asked them why I was receiving a bill from them, as my insurance was supposed to cover this, and also why was I just receiving a bill 10 months after my first visit.  They said insurance did not pay the claim and that the reason I was receiving the bill so late was because their billing was messed up.  Meaning since their billing was messed up this was probably already reported on my credit before I ever knew there was a bill, since the bill showed non payment 121+ days.  I spoke to my insurance and they said that mistakenly covered a few of the claims as if the doctor was in network but did not cover the rest of my claims because the doctor was out of network.  So I had already quit seeing the doctor by the time I got the first bill 9-10 months later, at which time they had already dinged my credit and had been charging me copays as if the doctor was in network for the period I saw him.  I was also told by my insurance that the doctor was now in network and had been in network starting the month after I saw him.  When I had asked the billing department about my credit score in reference to the bill not being sent to me and showing 121+ days of non payment up to the point I received the bill, I was promptly hung up on by the billing agent on the phone.  If I had been billed immediately after my initial visits I would have questioned the charges and then quit seeing the doctor at that time, but TPRG waited around 10 months to send me my first bill.

  • It is the most ridiculous place in the world. It is hard to get appointments, and when you get appointments they are never on time, most of the doctors that I have dealt with is not very friendly, and the staff that works there is not friendly. I had an appointment today at 9:20am and I didn't start seeing the doctor until 10:50am.

  • Dr. Gonino is my family doctor. The nurse-practitioner in the office is excellent. He is the only doctor I know who can help me. He is working to help me get better with more natural remedies. He is very knowledgeable. He knows how to treat people like me. I like that he treats the cause and not the symptoms.

  • This doctors office was recommended by a family member. I had been experiencing severe pain in the front of my leg or shin area for quite sometime and it hurt just to walk. When I went to this office and saw the doctor the visit was very short he had taken X-rays of my leg and told me I had severe shin splints. The doctor was very informative and told me I didn't fracture my bone, which was a relief. The doctor laws very professional and his staff was nice. The only thing I didn't like is that the doctor recommended I complete physical therapy which I didn't think was necessary.

  • We really like him.  He is very knowledgeable as a physician, he has got a great sense of humor, and he relates well to his patients.  We can get in the same day when we call.  We do not have to wait very long; they try to get us in as close to the time as possible, much better than other physicians.  His treatment has been very effective and his billing and administration has been on top too.

  • His bedside manner is really good. He very thoroughly explains. When I have questions or concerns, he reassures me. He seems to know really what he's doing. It's a pleasant experience to go there. The one really nice thing is that I can bring my kids with me because there's a little play area down in the main lobby so the kids can go play there. As far as the office and how warm and welcoming it is, it's really not. It's more like a white-walled doctor's office. But once again, I don't really care about that I more care about the level of service I get.

  • My husband and I have patients of Dr. Ramsey's almost 10 years.  During that time Dr. Ramsey used arthroscopic techniques to repair a torn meniscus on each of us. He has also treated me for a broken ankle and my husband for a shoulder injury.  Dr. Ramsey has always been both effective and efficient with us and we both recommend him to others.

  • I had my first appointment with Dr. Sharp about 3 years ago and realized in that very first appointment that she was VERY SMART, well trained and especially effective with dealing with female patients of all ages. (I'm about the same age as Dr. Sharp's mother and I especially appreciate the way Dr. Sharp deals with coaching me to take better care of myself.) Dr. Sharp is very professional and VERY effective dealing with me and now my daughter (who last year became a patient of Dr. Sharp's).
    Her practice is not limited to females but we have found her to be incredibly good at being practical and effective at taking care of us.

  • He is great. We love him. He is always very attentive and he listens to you and doesn't rush you. We had couple of concerns that we just had questions about and he let us know that he did current researched on that before we even came at it he knew what we were going to ask and everything. He is very pro active. He is knowledgeable.
