    Hill Country Tile & Mosaics
I cannot say enough about the quality of the work. We replaced the floors in our entire house and the owner, Neil, personally laid or supervised every bit of the work. He cut under our stone fireplace and placed the floor planks underneath it. It looked as if the floor was laid before the fireplace was installed. Patrick cut, installed and painted every inch of quarter round without a single drop of paint on the floor. Its one thing to pick a beautiful floor, but having a quality installation makes it a perfect experience.

Neil and his crews have done Wood Floors in two homes and one garage apartment, Floor Tile in 7 bathrooms, One Large Shower Surround, 5 Tub Surrounds two staircases and has always done a GREAT job. He does what he says, when he says he is going to do it. Trust him. Fair price, excellent service and attention to detail. Worked with him before on other business deals and he is always fair. Already talking with him about another New Home I am about to build. You won't be disappointed. 5 Star Service.

    Manion Door to Door Flooring
I encountered difficulties trying to contact the company and schedule the work. The owner did not return my calls at first, supposedly because of a communication failure. However, once the workers arrived, the job went well. In spite of having to do some unexpected extra leveling of the concrete slab in one bedroom and additional detail work in a couple of pretty big closets, the crew worked non-stop and finished in one day. It was late evening before they were finally able to pack up. I did not ask that they re-paint the baseboards, but I was disappointed that they did not include it in the job. I had flooring installed in the rest of the house a few months earlier with another company, who had automatically included painting as part of their cost.

    Struck Contracting

Contractor came to house to evaluate the situation and give me a bid.  He was on time and detailed in his evaluation. He ordered materials that day and began the process timely so that I would be ready for the furniture to arrive.
I liked that he was neat, and explained what he needed and how he would proceed.
The room is beautiful and I didn't feel concerned throughout the entire process.  Awesome.

    Handyman Connection of Austin-Westlake
I thought the man was still working, and all of a sudden he just left. I didn't get a bill, so I had to call Angie's List, and they said that it was taken out of my card on Angie's List file. I thought I would have to pay for it to the man. He came very quickly, and he did a very good job. He had to leave to cut the tile, he was gone a very long time, but he didn't charge me for the time he was there. It seemed like a very big job, and I was expecting a lot more charge.

Horrible! Neil Foreman came to my home with a crew on May 30, 2014 and tore out the entire bathroom and were supposed to return on June 2 to complete the repair of sheetrock and put in the tile floor. No word on June 2...or the rest of the week other than a text telling me to let them know when my windows were in and he'd come back. (note windows did not have to be in for him to complete his work!). They were supposed to then come on June 5, and also a no show...June 10 I sent him a text wanting to know when they were coming back! He responded that as soon as he finished a shower in Austin, but he'd try to get another crew for me.On Thursday, I sent him another text wanting to know if he needed me to just get someone else and if would recommend someone. He texted back that and quot;we will be there Monday.and quot; On Monday at 6:43 a.m. I sent him a text asking what time they would be there and reminding him he needed to bring insulation and also that the shower ceiling should have concrete board screwed onto the ceiling, not the regular drywall nailed up I realized they had used. He assured me he'd waterproof it and screw it up there...even asked me to text him a picture of the ceiling, which I did. He confirmed they would be there at 9:00 a.m. At 11:27 a.m. I texted him to find out where they were since he said they'd be there at 9:00 a.m. I did not realize he'd left a message on my phone at 8:31 telling me that he and his crew were all sick with strep and would be there the next day, Tuesday at 9:00 a.m. instead! He did show up with three workers the next morning then left to get the concrete board he already knew he needed prior to comng out here! They came back two hours later and started to work. First they finished putting in the concrete board (still not replacing the sheetrock on the ceiling) and they tiled the floor. HE NEVER RETURNED TO CHECK ON THEIR WORK. When they finished I examined the floor and realized they had failed to float the floor up to the level of the hall wood floor as we had agreed they would be doing. I tried to explain to them but none could understand English and just packed up their things and left without removing the then still wet and removable incorrectly laid tile. I texted him and his response was that they would just put in a threshhold. I said unacceptable because not as we agreed he'd do it. (I'd even explained that my mother in law had died tripping on her way to the potty in the night!). He then sent me a very disrespectful email admonishing me for and quot;complainingand quot; and trying to disclaim responsibility asserting that he wasn't responsible because he didn't do the work himself! At no time did he EVER indicate the crew he brought on June 17, 2014 did not work for him! None of them spoke English so they certainly didn't work for me because I don't speak spanish! He brought them and the materials over (except for the tile that I furnished myself), instructed them as to what to do, then he left saying he had to check on his other crew at another job he had in progress. Now he is trying to disclaim responsibility for the incorrect sloppy job by saying this crew didn't work fo him! Don't use this guy.

    Evans Hardwood Floors
I can not say enough good things about this company. First of all, Mr. Bill Evans is very professional and has been in the business for a long while. He not only knows his woods, but he and his crew do an incredible job, from tearing out old tile to putting down new wood flooring. He guarantees his work and he finishes on time. We have NO qualms about recommending Evans Hardwood to anyone! You WON'T regret using them!!! Top notch!!

We absolutely could not be happier with the whole experience - all the great reviews are accurate. Robert came out to our house and spent 4 hours with us going over different choices for our hardwood floors. Even after we selected something he wanted to keep showing us options to be certain we had explored all options. He was very thorough explaining the differences/pros & cons between all the different types and colors of wood. It was so helpful to be able to see several planks of each type of wood in our own home rather than a tiny little square of wood in a store or showroom.

The installers were amazing. They arrived on time, made sure they had the right wood, and got right to work. There were 5 guys, and in 8 hours, we had about 800 square feet of beautiful new floors. They installed new baseboards too which really look nice and set everything off just right. Robert had said it would probably be a two day job, possibly one, but they did get it all done in one day. We couldn't believe our eyes!

Robert and Julie have both followed up with us to make sure we were happy. We are ecstatic really - every part of this project was handled quickly, thoroughly, and professionally. We will definitely be using them for future projects.

    Fernando Lopez Construction
He is a private contractor and it is just him and his family.  They were absolutely fantastic.  They were on time, honest and did a good job.  The price was great.  We had pulled the carpet out of the living room.  But there was linoleum in the kitchen.  They came and pulled up that linoleum.  They leveled the living room floor.  They were in and out of here.  We are on a slab.  My original intention was to clean the slab, stain it and score it so that it would look like rock.  I thought that I could pull that linoleum up.  I used acetone, paint thinner, lacquer thinner and every toxic chemical one could imagine for getting that stuff up.  I finally gave up and called him.  I had gone downtown and I passed him and his crew when they came in at about 7:45 in the morning.  By the time I got downtown, ran my errand and got back, they had all that linoleum pulled up.  They were laying tile like machines.  I asked him how he got that linoleum up and he said that he poured a little water on it.  They had the kitchen, bathroom and the utility room done in a day.  They did such a great job that I decided that I would have them come back and do the living room.  I can't say enough good things about him and his crew.  He only works family.

They did an excellent job, from showing the available styles of carpeting, to the sales experience, through installation.  We scheduled the installation for two days after the purchase of the carpeting and the workers showed up on time.  They installed the carpeting in one day and it looked great.  There were no marks on the newly painted walls, few residual carpet fibers to clean up and all of the old carpet was hauled off.
