Very pleased.  Very quick response and quick replacement of spring.  I have no idea what springs cost and the $225 I was charged seems to be the going rate but seems high for a spring.  Anyway, did a good job and I would use again.

My 16' garge door was creased from a poor installation by my son. Joe the Owner was able to reinforce the door, take the kink out, and install the rear opener. So instead of having to replace any part of the front garage door (we had just painted the house 2mos ago) he was able to reinforce it and save it...looks perfect! Out the door it was $696. I thought I was looking a t $2000! With all the rain/flooding we had going on...he was still able to come out and get it all done in the same day.

When I need new doors I] and I am thinking one double door I would definitely get this company; to do the work. This is the best service I have ever bought from Angie. He was right on time and he explained everything to me. I am going to have to replace these old doors in the near future and they will be the go to company.

They came out and said it wasn't the roller it was a whole different part that was needed to be fixed. Therefor, we were not in need of the coupon offer. They guided us into the right direction on what needed to be done. They were very nice about everything , I really appreciated that and their honesty.

Everything was fine. It cost a little bit more money than I thought it would but the work was fine. I got a tuneup in the mail for $49 for a garage door tuneup. Everything was fine with the tuneup. Then he said that I needed new rollers. By the time I was done, it was $500 for my two little garage doors. It was probably more than I wanted to spend but it was probably worth it because the garage doors work now. I wasn't cheated or anything. The young man that did it was very knowledgeable. It wasn't his first rodeo so he knew what he was doing. I felt very confident in his expertise.

    AAA Garage Door Service Company
After seeing an Angie's List deal for AAA Garage Door, I called to ask about it. Roy discussed the unit and what was included in the deal and I made an appointment for installation. Roy arrived promptly on the day and installed my new opener. He took the time to explain some particulars about my garage door and some things that needed attention. He explain the operation of the door opener and remotes and made sure it was working perfectly. It was a good experience and I would hire AAA again for any garage door issues I might have.

They were really great.  My experience with them went well.  They gave me an estimate and I ordered doors.  They came out to have the job done and left in a day.  The price was really reasonable and I was very happy with the price.

All went very well. During his initial inspection the rep noticed several small tears in the metal door. He recommended installing a strut/brace on the door and I agreed. He returned the following day, with the strut, installed it and the door now operates a lot less noisy and much smoother.

    Affordable Overhead Door Company
Couple of days ago, I sent Mr. Garcia an e-mail asking for a garage door opener estimate and he responded in a
timely fashion and told me he?ll call me Monday.   Monday he called me as promised.    He told me he charges $125 to install any garage door opener that I purchased or he could install a LiftMaster his company carries for  $399.00.   I told him I will have two of them replaced and so we have agreed that his technician will do the job between 10 ? 12 on Tuesday, February 4, for a total of $798.00.  (I didn?t ask him about Angie?s List or any other discounts and he didn?t offer me any either).
Tuesday, a little after 11 AM, Mr. Garcia called my wife and told her his technician is running late and is expected to show up around 1230.   My wife told him that was OK.
When the technician (Mark?) showed up with a big truck, he looked at my garage and told me there is a problem, because
my garage is 8 feet tall.   (So are the vast majority of garages in our neighborhood).    He explained me the reason it is a problem because he only had a 7 feet bracket.     (99% of the garage doors are either 7 or 8 feet tall so that shouldn?t be a major inventory challenge).
Then he offered to install the opener on the old, 12 year old bracket I had in place with my old opener but offered me no discount for the parts & work they would save.   I told him I?d like to get the whole opener replaced as it was agreed upon with Mr. Garcia.   Mark then told me in that case he would have to go and get an 8 feet long bracket.
But he first called Mr. Garcia from my garage and then informed  me I would have to pay an additional $80 for
the job since the 8 feet brackets would cost $40 more each.    At that point I asked to speak with Mr.
Garcia and I told him we had an agreement, and I didn?t appreciate the drastic price deviation at that stage of the game.
He told me they didn?t know my garage was 8 feet tall but now that they do, he would have to charge me an extra $80.
(Well, he never asked me when he knows full well there are common sizes).
The way the whole thing was orchestrated it just appeared shady and I told Mr. Garcia what they tried to pull on me appeared
to be a version of the old ?switch and bait? trick and was not appreciated.   At that time he told me I hurt his feelings by saying that and now he would not want to do the job? (As if that had been option at that point?).   In closing I told Mr. Garcia; I took a day off my job, your employee showed up late, didn?t?  have the required part to do the job, told me I have to pay $80 more than what we have agreed on and when I express my displeasure about this to you, YOUR feelings are hurt?!   Are you serious?!
For the most part I had very good experiences with contractors I find in Angies List and that is why I am a paying member.   In fact, I am a member precisely so that I can avoid incidents like this in the future.  I consulted with friends of mine who own
businesses in the area about what happened and they all said Mr. Garcia poorly mishandled this situation EVEN if it wasn?t a bait and switch and he just forgot to ask me how tall my garage door is.   -   Furthermore, to put this in another perspective for the benefit of those who do not know the going prices of garage door openers and installation,  if you go to Home Depot, for about $160 you can get a very good model with significant warranties.   For about $100 you could have their contractor
replace the old one.     In other words, for under $300 you could have a hassle free, safe job done?
