Septic Tank Cleaning reviews in Tyler

  • He was prompt and did it on the same day I called.  He had trouble getting the concrete cap off the tank due to the settling of the ground and the East Texas clay soil.  He kept working and got the job done.  He told me where I could get a better cap for it with a handle.  I'd use them again.  They're no nonsense and get the job done.

  • Customer service was wonderful. She had me check my fuse box, the fuse inside the aerobic outside box, and had me make sure that the sprinkler system worked. That could have saved me a service, but the fuses had not been tripped and the sprinklers worked. I asked them to come out and inspect the system. The air pump was barely releasing air and I had them replace it with a rebuilt one. Since we didn't know much about an aerobic system (bought the house and wasn't given any info), I asked the tech (James) if he could explain it to me. James did a wonderful job of explaining the whole system.

  • They're excellent and they really have a good price. I just don't need them now because my tanks are running so well. They're 30 dollars cheaper than the other that I had. He did a great job and it was a great price. I've asked him if he could replace that and he was not trying to sell me on. He put a chord in place and put up an access on top of it for me to be easy to pump the tank and he did the whole thing for me for only 150 dollars. I would probably use them forever.

  • I have been experiencing water backing up going into two bathrooms on the first floor of our house. In addition, the toilets would bubble when ever they were flushed. If both were flushed at the same time, we experienced the backup in the shower and tub, and also water running out from under the base of the toilet in the master bath. I had called out a plumber to trouble shoot the problem. They found some blockage in the shower drain and removed it. They also rain a snake down the drain to try to clean out the drain, but the problem still remained. Mr. Sanders felt he could help us. He installs septic and aerobic systems professionally and has done so for commercial and residential services, but focuses mostly on residential. He informed me that most of the time, when he sees this type of problem, it is a blockage. I showed him the location of the tank. They dung down around the tank and found the problem. It turns out that the pipe going to the tank had been made of thin plastic pipe which was what was used many years ago. It had sprung a leak and was cracking. Also, tree roots had gotten into the pipe and were starting to grow in the pipe toward the house. Also, the septic tank lid appears to have broken years ago, and instead of taking it out, whoever did the repair just put another lid on top of the tank and left it as it was. Charles also found that at the mouth of the pipe going into the tank was blocked by a partial blockage almost 2 inches thick. There was room for a little water to get through. That would not allow water to drain into the septic tank correctly even if the pipe had been good. Only so much water would go in. When the pipe got full of water, then it would come back toward the house and I guess that is why we saw the flooding in the floor under the toilet and in the shower and tub. Charles did replace the pipe going from the house into the tank. The tank was also pumped out by Candy Septic Tank Cleaning. Everything seems to be working well now. Charles said if we experience a slowdown in performance of the system, it will likely be caused by the lateral lines and that will need attention if that happens. Charles also installed a cleanout drain as well so the pipe and the septic system can be accessed in the future should it be needed. I was very pleased with his work and will definitely call him first in the future if I ever have another problem of this kind. I would highly recommend him.

  • I hired AAA Sanitation to pump my two septic tanks that are located under my house.  Yes, I am aware that septic tanks are not supposed to be under the house; we purchased our house and found out later.  It is an old pier and beam house, (we are remodeling), with a clearance of 3 feet to get under the house and pump our tanks.  The guy showed up and made it obvious he did not want to get under our house.  He was a heavy man and I think maybe it would have been too hard for him.  He said some stuff about not being covered by insurance if he got under our house......etc.    What did he think that our house is going to fall on him?   Then I was charged $35 for nothing.  I am angry because I told him all the information over the phone about the tanks being under the house.  I did not try to hide anything.  He could have told me on the phone that they do not provide service if the tanks are under the house.  But instead he made $35 for showing up at my house for all of 5 mins to tell me in person that they do not get under the house.  He wasted my time and my money.  Absolutely Ridiculous.
I called A & A Septic Tank Service after AAA Sanitation left my house.  The man from A & A Septic Tank Service said they do not mind crawling under the house as long as they have two feet clearance.   Obviously, they are not afraid of a little hard work.  Thank goodness.  He quoted me $75 per tank.  I think that is fair.  I will leave a review for them after the work is done.

  • I liked that they were able to fit me in and took care of all the paper work for me. The only thing that I didn’t like was that they had given me a time and they were there earlier. I hadn’t anticipated as there was no one in the house. They did care of everything for me but they hadn’t been there when they said they were going to.

  • We noticed that drain lines were beginning to backup whenever the washing machine was used. So we knew it was time make a phone call. Driver arrived about 10 minutes earlier than scheduled, was very professional and curteous. Found the lid of tanks immediately and no additional digging was required. Had both tanks pumped and grease trap cleaned in less than 1 hour. Will definetly use company again whenever needed.

  • I had just purchased a property with a conventional septic system that was working ok, but the tanks had not been pumped for 25 years! Not only that, but I was uncertain where exactly the tanks were. When I told this to A and A, they offered to come out to the place, saying that they could probably find the tanks, but that if they did not, there would be no charge! The two men showed up on time and (with effort) found the buried tanks after poking around for a while. (This was not easy because of the size of my lot.) The tanks were very-nearly full, but in good working order. They pumped them out until they were clean and then closed and re-buried the tops. I appreciated their excellent work and would use them again. Finally, considering the quantity of labor and the capital cost of their truck/equipment, I believe that the price they charged was very reasonable.
