Septic Tank Cleaning reviews in Spring

Real People ~ Real Reviews ~ Real Results

  • Called in on April 19th in the morning, they had a guy to my house in the afternoon, ontime. Manuel did a great job, very professional, Pumped all three tanks, operated very efficient and cleaned up. This is the second time I have used Abracadabra septic pumping, very pleased both times.

  • He had all the latest technology and was up to date on all techniques, policies and regulations. He came in did the work and got out, cleaned everything thoroughly. He was very polite and just a stand up guy.

  • He was rude, he was awful. I'm in a neighborhood where they install all of the systems and because they have installed everyone of the systems, in Texas you have to maintain a services contract with the installing company and our HOA has sort of allowed that to let them run rush all over the community but their service is horrendous, They didn't quote me anything because they didn't want to fix it. Because the developer had given him exclusivity in the neighborhood he was making and didn't care about any problems that came up so the guy is just a jerk. That was the owner of the company I mean it wasn't like I was talking to one of his peons or something that was the owner of the company which is why I was even more disgusting.

  • They did what they said they would do and clearly had done this before. They arrived in one of the biggest tank trucks I've ever seen. Their tools were a large pinch bar and a couple of wood blocks. I had done my homework and had the new lid on site and the proper sealant. They don't provide these parts, only the removal and installation. Advice: send photos of your job site in advance and ensure the technician is aware of the scope of work.

Discovery of results of the work, after they left: A new leak appeared at the inlet joint to the septic tank. In their haste, they had rolled the old lid onto the joint before its removal. I had to call another service company to effect another repair. Cost $175 to patch and strengthen the joint. Also the some of the lid sealant strips I had carefully sized and cut  ended up in the septic tank. I fished them out and spent the next week reinstalling the sealant when the weather cooperated. Septic service from this company is more tank cleaning labor than a skilled, technical septic service.

  • Was having some tank maintenance done and needed the tank pumped ASAP. They committed to an immediate call out and arrived the next morning. Technician called before arriving and noticed another issue with the tank cap and suggested a company where I could get a replacement.

  • 09/01/13: They replaced my water heater which was leaking.  The experience was excellent with the exception of the cost of the water heater itself.  They offer only 1 water heater which has a long warranty, but I wish they had other, less expensive options.  $1,400.00 for the water heater and labor to install, plus, since the leak happened on a Friday evening, there was a $189.00 service charge for the call.  09/04/13: Fixed a leak in the water line leading into the house.  Again, the experience was excellent.  Cost to dig down to the leak and replace that part of the line was $503.00, $59 of which was a service fee.  11/19/13: Clean out sewer line running between the 2 bathrooms in the house due to a clog in the line which had caused a major backup in one of the bathrooms.  Cost was about $450.00.  I would recommend this company to anyone who wants an honest company that will do only what is necessary to fix your problem.

  • I was unable to use the deal due to the fine print of the deal.  It did not cover septic systems.  I think that should be stated a little bit better on the fine print with the deal.  The company was responsive and professional.  The technician was also on time and apologetic that he could not do the work.

  • Had two septics that needed to be pumped for abandonment purposes. They arrived as scheduled and got the work done cleanly and didn't have a problem with me checking on the work while it was being performed. Things went perfectly..

  • I honestly don't think 10,000 characters is enough to describe the debacle I have went through. So I will simply tell you this; after inspecting and noticing the horrible job that was done (the floor was installed while I was at work) I asked Christian if he were me would he be happy with this floor if it were in his house and he said and I am quoting him exactly: his answer, "No sir I would not." me: "Can you fix it?": Christian: "No sir, I would not attempt to fix it because there is way to much repair needed." me: So I am just out $2500 and I need to live with this floor the way it is? Christian: "I'm sorry JP I don't know what to say, I know you are upset." Out of approximately 20 hours it took his day laborers to remove the old floor and install the new floor Christian was maybe at my house 2 hours. The next day I called Chris and asked him to make things right and made the following offer: He could subtract the money he had spent on float material and quarter round from the total I had in the laminate and he could reimburse me the difference as well as come and remove this floor and we would be square. He rejected and turned me over to his insurance company. After he did this I had another company send one of their professionals over to a**** the install. He wasn't in my house 30 seconds and said: "Oh my god how much did you pay for this? This is all wrong." He was referring to the pattern that they laid the floor in. It looks like a pattern you would use when installing a deck. He also added after walking around and looking for a while it was the worst installation of quarter round he had ever seen. Anyway, very long story short, this all happend June 19th and 20th, it is now July 19th and I have just been told my claim has been denied! Thank you, you piece of ____ Christian Garcia! This guy and his comapny are garbage! I am now out over $2500 and have a complete pile of crap for a floor. My next step is a small claims lawsuit! Please, do not use this guy! Help me get guys like this out of the labor force by not hiring him. Please spread the word about Christian Garcia and Direct Remodelers and Home Services! Word of mouth is the strongest advertisement there is. So spread the word!

  • We have two tanks that are tied into a common drain field. The south tank could not handle a flush from the powder room toilet, a washer load of water or the final straw, discharge from the dishwasher. They dug down to expose the entire lid of the tank and jetted the leach lines. It took an hour longer than I expected and they were a few hours late arriving, but in the end, the money was worth getting the south end of our home back.
