  • From day one my doctor at Neville and Associates was very attentative. She answered any and all questions and was very pleasant. Everything she commented on with my surgery and recovery was correct. I really wasn't overall please with the billing and cost, however, my company changed their medical policies so I had to pay more out of pocket than I would have liked. I would definately go back to Dr. Patel for any future foot issues. She's a wonderful doctor.

  • We are about six weeks into the follow-up/recovery and all has gone very good. I'm very pleased with the entire office - from those in the casting room, x-ray, administration and those on the physical therapy side also. They seem to work very well together even thought there are several different people involved in the appointments. The office staff seem to enjoy working together personally and professionally. That's a big plus to me.

  • It was sore for a couple of weeks then I had physical therapy. It's wonderful that I can put new knuckles in. It's a good place to get my physical therapy. Everything is right there. Everything is under one roof. It's just across the street for an MRI. It's convenient. They're pretty busy but they get me in. Sometimes I have to wait up to 20-30 minutes in the waiting room. They could have a bigger office that they seemed to be able to handle all the people. They have the X-ray and it's on the same floor. Everybody has to sit there. It's so convenient to have the X-ray right there.

  • The surgery went well and I have made an excellent recovery. Dr. Landon is Chief of Orthopedics at Kelsey Seybold Clinic and operates at St. Luke's Episcopal Hospital. He is willing to answer questions and is honest and direct in his answers. He uses a number of different hip prostheses (unlike some other surgeons) and picks what is most appropriate for the patient. Dr. Landon uses the PATH surgical approach (superior-posterior) for THR which is more tissue sparing, doesn't involve dislocation of the hip, and carries less risk of infection than the conventional posterior approach. Attention to infection control is excellent. Weight bearing begins the day after surgery and in-hospital physical therapy works on transfers in and out of bed, exercises to be performed in bed, walking, and handling stairs.  Dr. Landon doesn't prescribe physical therapy after discharge for otherwise healthy and active patients, just home exercises, but if one does them religiously, recovery is excellent. Follow up after surgery was fairly minimal, but much the same as experienced by several friends who had similar surgery done elsewhere. So far, I am very happy with the results.

  • The first visit was normal, I was seen by a PA and a doctor. They fitted with a generic wrist support. I didn't like the Velcro wrist support they fitted me with , it didn't help the pain in my fingers. So I called and they said come in right away. I was there about 2 1/2 hours. They made a splint that supported my ring finger and little finger. It was like a removal cast wrapped in a bandage. I wore it for 2 weeks and went back for a follow up visit. They took more X-rays but still didn't come up with I diagnose. The bandage got very dirty and I felt like all my fingers needed support more than jus

  • .This doctor was recommended to me a family member. They are always professional but the office is a little bit crowded because it's a busy practice. They have done a good job and I am happy with their service.

  • Broke my collar bone on Friday night.
    Xray reviewed on Monday.
    Surgery was Thursday.
    Pretty darn quick.

Dr Johnson did the surgery and is very pleasant. Great bedside manner.
(Dr Hayes, also in the practice, replaced my rt ACL about 10 yrs earlier.)
It's now almost 6 months later, everything is progressing as expected. Still some numbness -- not a surprise. Fascia still binding up with the muscle over time -- also not a surprise. Good PT takes care of the latter. Time will take care of the former.

Ofc staff very pleasant. Doctors and staff exude confidence, and put their patients (well as least me) at ease.

Wait times in the waiting room is minimal (5-10 min). Other orthopedic practices that I have been to, I can wait for hours before being called back.

Also liked that they will reschedule around my situation -- pretty unusual for a doctor's ofc to work around the patient. On the Monday of the examination I was running behind trying to get some paper work from my ER visit on the Friday of the accident, and I called wanting to reschedule. And they simply said, and quot;Just come on in when you get everything together. We'll be here and we'll get you in. And in spite of that, the wait in the waiting room was the typical 5-10 minutes. (They need that time to pull my records and get a room set up for me.)

Couple of touchy points for me:
    1) for my insurance not all the doctors in the practice have the same rating, which impacts my co-pay. Just be sure the PA you see is working for a doctor that day that is covered at the lower co-pay.
    2) As with all doctors, they move and talk quickly. If you are an old plodder like me (age 59), you cant think of all the questions and may not fully comprehend what is said or the implications of what is said. As noted things went pretty darn quickly for my broken collar bone, so things were a blur for me. (Pain meds didn't help the situation, I presume.) On the other hand if things went slower, I doubt that anything would be different. (I just might have been better prepared for the plate in my shoulder.) I am NOT suggesting they did anything wrong or even underhanded. On the contrary. They are above board, highly ethical. (And a lot of fun.)

I definitely will be going back there. (Ah, the wonders of getting old.)
    1) my daughter had a lateral release done this summer by Dr Johnson.
    2) I will be getting shots in my knee there for my arthritis.

BTW -- I also like that I can get copies of my Xrays or video clips of the surgery (as applicable) to show to my friends. Great for Show-and-Tell.

Overall great set of doctors and staff.

  • They each saw different doctors - we were very happy with all of it. They over billed me on my wife's surgery and it took 3 months to get the refund. All-in-all I hope we never have to use them again - BUT if need be I would not hesitate - they would be our first choice.

  • Dr. Coupe of the Fondren Orthopedic group is very professional and capable. He listens very well and makes sure all of your questions are answered. The physical therapy section of the building is very nicely done - roomy and airy and the pt therapists are all extremely qualified. The MRI was quick and painless, and all billing for the expensive procedure discussed thoroughly before appointment.

  • They are quick, and you get right into see his assistant. You get a foot bath which feels so good, and the doctor comes right in. It's fast. Doctor Neville is very professional and friendly. He is the kind of doctor that you want to have. The staff is very nice and professional, and they get you in on time. I also referred my sister to him.
