I love this doctor so much I sent my brother.  Another wonderful experience.  Just like an old time doctor with wonderful staff that give personal service.  And Dr. Schmidt gives you a lot of time and attention.  Good for a joke, too.

The eating room is small and is standinding room only. He's pretty much on time but heis rushed and doesn't have time for questions. I have seen him before and is knowledgable. The waiting room is the worst part.

As was usually the case, they were running late. We were seen by a nurse practitioner since none of the doctors were in the office. The nurse practitioner was not friendly and talked down to us. Her assistant acted like she just wanted to be done wIth us. When we voiced concerns regarding treatment effectiveness, the nurse practitioner said that we needed to see someone else for birth control pills because they didn't provide that type of service. She gave us business cards for other providers and dismissed us abruptly. When checking out, the person did not greet us, just requested payment. No thanks or offer of scheduling another appointment. We found another dermatology provider.

I've been going to Dr. Waidhofer since the mid 1980s. I have complete trust in him regarding any skin issue I may have. He does not try to push anything on you but works with you to determine the best lotions etc. He's great at renewing prescriptions without making you constantly come in for the same condition. He's willing to educate you and does not make you feel embarrassed by whatever skin issue you're having.

The office environment at The Woodlands Dermatology Associates is really lovely. The waiting room is quiet and well-appointed. The staff seem very kind. Dr. Bumgardner was very prompt and I didn't have to wait long. She listened to my concerns and noted everything in my file, as a potential treatment method was available, not not necessarily needed at this time. She wrote a prescription for another issue as well. Overall, the in-office experience is very nice.
My only complaint is that once a patient has established his/herself (it can take 2-4 months to get an appointment), it should be easier to make a follow-up appointment. I called again in May 2014 to have an annual skin cancer screening and wasn't able to make an appointment until August! That's nearly 3 months.
Additionally, they don't have a cancellation list wherein you can be called if someone cancels an appointment and therefore be seen earlier. I think that's especially important at a dermatology clinic!
I will go back, but mostly because it takes too long to establish yourself somewhere else.

He charges a lot of money and is actually in the room with you for less than a minute. He doesn't spend a lot of time looking your skin over. You also had to make your appointments months in advance to be seen.

Doctor Anita Arora is great. I was very nervous about mole removal procedure, but dr. Arora my concerns and made me feel more comfortable. I didn't feel rushed and she really took her time to answer all my questions. The procedure was quick and painless. It took only 10-15 min to remove 2 moles and 2 skin tags and I couldn't be happier.
The only negative thing is that it took almost 2 month to get my first appointment. I guess that was because I was a first-time patient.

I've been taking my elderly father to see her for a couple of years and just love her. When I had a problem, she was the first one I called. I live closer to other dermatologists in The Woodlands, but I have always been so impressed with her treatment for my dad. She was wonderful, explained everything and made me feel very relaxed. I highly recommend her to everyone!!!

I went to this clinic originally because I wanted to have a small growth on my face examined. The dosctor was nice (dr. Flowers) and reassured me that it was just a cyst. She even gave me the name of the harmless cyst, but she scraped it off and sent it in to be sure. I was 3 months pregnant at the time so extra concerned. After about 2 weeks, I had not heard back about my results. I called them and they quickly informed me that it was skin cancer. How long had they known? I was casually told this information by the woman on the phone.... I was not able to talk to the doctor. I never heard back from the doctor..... That was the end of them, and they passed me on to have it surgically removed in the woodlands. I was able to get into the doctor the next day ( which is rare with dermatologists) but I would never go back. I have never experienced such lack of compassion and professionalism.

They are very professional, and they are a full service provider. I've had really good experiences with Woodlands, and I would give them A's, all the way down. I have no complaints, and I will continue to see them.
