He walked into the room. No eye contact. Did not even touch me to find out what was hurting. Very strange personality. Said he would have to get my blood tests from my GP and get back to me. I signed a release form and waited 10 minutes just to borrow a pen. He never got back to me.

While he seems knowledgeable about his practice, the wait times are unlike any Psychiatric office I've been to previously. The office also seems disorganized with a strange check-in method where you write your name and appointment information on a small piece of note paper and then leave it in the pen container at the receptionists desk. The office has also booked another person for my same appointment time (with my provider), acknowledged the mistake, and then still seen all their regular appointments (my appointment was at 8, they first saw the 8, 8.15, and 8.30 appointments before they called me) as I waited in the lobby.
If you have lots of time to kill, this may be the right place for you.

I saw Dr. Gallentine for several months and got nowhere with her. She never seemed to understand or care about or have time to figure out my problems, and her rates were outrageous. They guy working the front desk was strange, to say the least. I can't totally put my finger on why I disliked her service so much to prompt a poor review, but I got fed up with her after a while and found much better care at the University of Houston psychiatry clinic. Luckily I was a student there at the time and the doctor there took all the time needed to figure out how to help me and explore treatment options. Dr. Gallentine seemed to want to throw a pill at me to make me go away.

I left as quickly as I could, but only made it to the elevator before I had a severe panic attack. I feel worse now than I did before seeking his help. I am currently investigating other doctors before taking a risk like this again.

Ran many expensive and painful tests. Failed to diagnose although he had all the data required for the diagnosis. Bragged he was tracking and documenting my decline and had no plans to refer me or treat me... just bill me and my insurance company. Consistently left (very ill and weak) patients in very cold waiting area for 2 plus hours as he arrived approximately 2 hours late every day. I initially thought he was making hospital rounds but found he had no hospital privileges, he was just late. Violated my HIPPA rights by contacting a doctor without consent (I have written documentation from my chart of his notes from the conversation.) Attitude was awful. He would walk out of the room rudely, without a word, while I was trying to talk with him and trying to get grossly needed medical care. Said I was there to get his attention. Yes, medical attention and help. This is a very unattractive human being and a very insulting comment to a profoundly ill woman. Exchanged disparaging glances regarding me with my ex-husband who had great financial motive in me remaining ill. Certainly did not have my best interest in mind causing me to remain ill long-term and suffer continued permanent damage to organs, nervous system, etc. I left for another neurologist who ultimately helped solve the mystery. DO NOT USE THIS POOR EXCUSE FOR A DOCTOR. THERE IS MUCH MORE I COULD WRITE HOWEVER, THIS SHOULD BE ENOUGH TO LET YOU MAKE AN INFORMED BETTER DECISION.

I phoned for an appointment and spoke with an administrative assistant who was pleasant but could not schedule an appointment because the doctor schedules his own appointments. She took my number and said the doctor would call me back. He indeed called me the following day, but I was not able to take his call at that particular time. By this time I had scheduled an appointment with another doctor at Cornerstone Assoc (who had a live person answering the phone who was knowledgeable about the associates in the practice). I had a difficult experience with many doctors on Angie's list who did not have a live person to take their calls, delayed appointment scheduling process or who were no longer taking patients but were still listed. I found the doctor referral listing in Angie's List for the Woodlands area to be mostly an exercise in frustration and regret having wasted the money. I will not renew.

I called this counsellor to make an appointment for marriage guidance, she was difficult to get hold of. She told she didnt have an appointment for 3 weeks, I called back left a message for a cancellation appointment anytime. I received a voice message with some cancellation times and I immediately called back and requested one of them. I didnt hear back for a confirmation and called again a few days later, I was told that she already gave my cancellation appointment to one of her existing clients because that had priority. Strange because it was a matter of minutes between her voice message and me calling to request the cancellation.
Her attitude was all about the money and quite abrasive, in fact she was almost talking me out of using her serves because as she stated.. and quot;she is too busy already'.

I went to the appointment with my mom. I was able to show him a muscle spasm episode, and he was quickly able to tell me what was going on. He was the first doctor that was able to tell me why I was having the muscle spasms and how to treat them. He spent a very long time explaining everything to us. He had a good bedside manner and was able to explain everything very well. I would recommend him to anyone as a neurologist, and especially for anyone that has a possible movement disorder.

She is located near Old Town Spring.  It is an older house that has been turned into an office.  I will admit there is a lot of clutter and that kind of bothered me because I don't like having stuff everywhere.  But at the end of the day she is wonderful at what she does, and that is what is important.  There is no staff in the office, so when you come it is just her.  I would pay by check at the end of the appointment, and after about a month I would get a receipt of all my payments to submit to my FSA account.  She makes sure that everything said is done in private and closes the doors if there is anyone else around and that made me happy.  Then she would begin the session.  She is very knowledgeable, and is willing to help you in whatever way she can.  She is willing to help coordinate your care between many different doctors.  She is open to alternative medicine options, and can talk about the different ones and recommend you to someone if you are open.  She seems to be more liberal in thoughts/politics, which is very different from me, but never imposes her opinions on you.  She does not judge, and does not push you to thoughts that you don't agree with.  Overall, I was very happy with Toby and would recommend her to anyone.  She really helped me and when I start seeing her again I know it will only get better.

Receptionist giggled and smirked when I asked if I might use their restroom. Consultant seemed to be short on time and wouldn't listen, he hurriedly recommended a neck MRI and was up and out of the treatment room. I returned a week later to discuss the MRI, CTS and de quervains tenosynovitis in his office, again he was short of understanding which I find totally unsatisfactory to me; I ended up trying to talk with him as he walked back to the reception where he said he was really rather busy to do a CTS operation any time soon but to leave it up to the nurse who would call me at home. I would not recommend this particular practice for showing any patient understanding at all.
