When I phoned I was told the fee would be $399 ($400) to come out on a weekend evening. I was told it would be $200 during a weekday. I agreed to the $400 fee, and Martin Salinas came out about 9:30 pm that evening. My attic is separated into two sections. He put his trap in the high attic with a can of sardines, and my trap with a can of sardines in the lower one, or second floor level. He said to call him if I heard anything. The raccoon had come into the lower attic by pulling the dryer vent cap off and pushing the dryer vent out of the way. Mr. Salinas told me raccoons had been nesting in the lower attic as evidenced by the matted down insulation. Lie number one: it was matted down from being in there 20+ years. In the higher attic I was told I had rats as feces were found. Lie number two. I had one or more at some point, but not recently since I discovered the feces were powdered when I rubbed it between my fingers. I was told the firm could put new insulation in. He said the calculation was taking half the square footage of the house and any contractor that said different was lying. Lie number three. Every attic is different. Also you have to take into account heating and air units in the attic. You aren't putting insulation over those, and in some cases certain light fixtures have to be void of insulation. So attics are physically measured. I am attaching the insulation bid cost which is outrageously expensive if you compare it to other firms. when I stated the cost was too high at $6249; I was told it could be done for $5132. I recently had my roof redone with insulation underneath, so I'm really not too concerned about further insulation at this point. I mentioned I needed my back shed torn down and a concrete slab poured in preparation for a new one, and was told that was a service the firm also provided. (Wow. Talk about jack-of-all-trades!) Mr. Salinas came by on Monday to check the traps, and I kept the dryer going to prevent the raccoon from going back into the attic. He had another employee drill a screw through the attic cap to keep it from being opened again. He collected $75 from me and said he'd be in touch. If I had rats or any other creature in the attics; the sardines would have been gobbled up. Nothing. I texted him asking when he would collect his trap from the high attic. I never heard from him again. As a senior, I did not relish trying to get the ungainly trap down the attic stairs. I placed an old towel over the dried up sardine can in the trap, slid the trap into a large garbage bag so I could drop it from the attic stair to the floor below. So I do not recommend this firm. He was hoping as a senior I would panic and not research attic insulation cost, and believe I had rats or mice. I also had to call, and pay, someone to readjust the attic vent. Mr. Salinas should have taken care of that as part of the service.

The team arrived on time, took precautions to minimize any dust or damage to the inside of the house and began the work. The entire job was completed the same day. The technicians were skilled and careful. The on-site supervisor kept me appraised of the status of all activities. They cleaned up the exterior of the property to remove trash from the repairs. They primed and painted the newly installed metal flashings use to cover access points into the attic. They placed screening material in all brick weep hole and over all pipe openings on the roof. Finally, they caulked all of the areas where wood met the brick on the exterior of the house. Lastly, the new insulation they installed was treated to boric acid, which repels both animals and insects. I called them on Thursday afternoon and an inspector was on-site Friday afternoon. I signed the contract on work was started and finished on Monday. Unfortunately, this was a very expensive project. Because of the seriousness of the the animal infestation and wiring damage I chose not to seek alternate bids. I feel their proposed solutions and work performed were worth the expense.

I had been living with a dead squirrel smell coming out of my chimney for 5 days. I had called two other companies and they were not able to get to me in a timely manner. I called C&W Specialists this morning and Hiram was at my house by 3 pm today. He got the job done in a professional and efficient manner and for less than the others had quoted me. I will be calling C&W again for additional work. I highly recommend this company. Thank you so much Hiram!!!!

I heard a rat in the crawl space above the kitchen and then saw a couple more rats outside the kitchen window. In a panic, I called around until I finally reached Guaranteed. The woman who answered the phone was sympathetic and very helpful. I explained that I needed to get to work and had very little time to deal with the problem and would appreciate someone coming right away. She phoned the owner (turned out to be her husband--as this is a family business), and he came over within the next hour. He thoroughly explained the process he used and the company's guarantee. He came across as knowledgeable and experienced, so I hired him and he got to work right away. The treatment entailed further visits/work at the house, and the technician showed up on time and was professional. I think they solved the problem, but I'm also comforted by their guarantee to return if they did not fully resolve the issue. Rats are so disgusting and I'm very grateful for this hard-working, small business that values its reputation and work product! I wish everyone else had the same sort of ethics; the world would be a better place.

They were very thorough, professional and limited our household disruption to a minimum. They came out first for free evaluation and estimate. We now feel like we have gotten our home back and if we ever have any problems again they provide a lifetime guarantee.

Craig came out to my house to do the free inspection.  He was very thorough and did a wonderful job explaining the whole process to me.  They got me on their schedule the very next day.  Ben and his crew were here at the exact time they said they would be.  All of the guys were very friendly.  They have done exactly what they said they would do.  This is a  very professional, thorough company.  Not only are the rats removed from my attic, but it is completely cleaned up.  I feel confident that my house will be critter free from now on.  The lifetime warranty gives me peace of mind.

Critter Control Houston did a great job.  The project team arrived on time and were very professional.  They tackled various aspects of the job; keeping me in the loop the entire time.  The infestation in my attic was severe and I am confident that my issue with animals taking up residence in my home has finally been rectified.  "Thank you Critter Control.  Very pleased with your team's good efforts.  From step one - evaluation of the problem, through all the steps (animal extraction, decontamination, installation of new insulation and critter proofing the exterior), all was provided as promised.  It was a lot of hard work, and from my point of view, done for a fair price.  Great job!!"

I'm not entirely sure what was going on here. We have renters in our house. According to the renters they saw a rat outside.  The renters had another company come out to inspect. They put out traps and killed one rat outside. The company gave them the all clear, there didn't appear to be any more signs of rats. We have a management company that looks after the house. They had Bio Tech come out. According to biotech's website they give referral fees. Supposedly Art, from biotech came out. My management company called me told me there were rat droppings in the attic, garage and outside. They wanted me to pay 995.00. I asked to personally speak with Art. He was very rude and disrespectful. I immediately ended the phone call. I spoke with my renters and according to them none of what biotech claimed was true. So, NO rat droppings in attic, garage or outside. I'm not sure if the inspector and my management company know one another and someone was going to get a kick back on work that wouldn't be done or needed. I would never trust this company.

I could not have asked for better service all the way around!  Amanda who scheduled my appointment was super sweet!   Chris who responded to the service call was absolutely the nicest and most knowledgeable young man.  He was so courteous and personable.  He took time in explaining all the options and it turned out perfectly.  He showed me the areas that put me at risk for some thing to enter and did a fantastic job securing them.  I just felt like I was totally in great hands.  911 Wildlife should be very proud to have such a great young man as part of their team!  I highly recommend 911 Wildlife.  SUPER JOB!

I did my research and had three different estimates as suggested.  Critter Control was the most expensive but they also gave much more service along with a fantastic guarantee which will help when I try to sell my house.  I think despite the high cost (and having to take out a loan) they earned every penny.   I was happy to see their trucks were professional looking when three big trucks and seven guys jumped out in my cul-de-sac.   It looked like an invasion.  My only concern was the browned grass that their vacuum engines left behind but the grass recovered quickly and all is well.

Brandon and his crew were great and they arrived as scheduled despite having a late night helping their previous customer.  I can't say enough about how impressed I was with their positive attitude and polite manners. It didn't even phase them when  I asked lots of questions or that I often climbed up into the attic to check their progress and make sure the guys were okay.  I was so worried about them in my hot attic but they assured me they were used to it and were fine.  They found three dead rats, seven snake skins (two I was able to actually view) and a snake nest with eggs!  Ugh! Until I had the house inspected I didn't even know there were snakes up there.  Unfortunately one live snake got away but I'm confident it is now dead or managed to escape.

Manuel came out yesterday for my first post-inspection and found nothing in the traps Brandon left behind.  I've also notice I have not had one spider, roach, ant or wasp in my home since they completed their work.  I highly recommend Critter Control and I'm confident I made the right choice.

One last note:  They also have referral program so feel free to use me (Barbara)  when you hire them!  : )  You won't be disappointed!
