    Repair My Appliance Austin
Repair my Appliance called me when I requested a bid. this was mid day on Friday. they made an appointment for me for Monday. I was called to verify the address on Monday and the appointment was completed Monday. the work was done and the dryer was working. I found them to be very nice, experienced with the work and reliable as they came when they said they would. I asked additional questions and they were addressed. I will use them again.

    AAA All Brands Appliance
He was good. He came out, but he was a little pricey though. I was surprised at the end he charged over $400 for putting in a couple parts in my refrigerator. So that was a surprise that I didn't expect. He forgot to put the light in because the bulb was out in the refrigerator. Other than that and the pricing of his service I would say he was ok. But I would say the pricing was over the top. The service was fine. He was here about an hour. When he got there, he didn't have the part and even though I had given him the model number and all that he had to go back out again and get a part. I don't know if that was a result of finding something else wrong with it or what.

    Marble Falls Appliance Repair
One person came out, John, and he was fabulous. He came out 2 days, each day he was here for about an hour. Even though he had to come out two times, we were only charged for one service call. He had to do some research, which ended up needing a replacement of the part. He was very knowledgeable and personable. I was very pleased with him. The price was great. I thought he did an excellent job. I would highly recommend him to friends or family.

    Petrocelli Services
My upstairs a/c was not cooling well at all, so I looked up service companies on Angie's List.  I came to Petrocelli and gave them a call at 8:30 in the morning on a Sunday.  They answered the phone immediately and scheduled me for an appointment that day.
Terry came out to the house and evaluated my systems.  He quickly determined that my upstairs evap coil was leaking and the compressor was frozen over due to lack of freon.
Terry also noticed some grounding wires not set up correctly, so he fixed that as well.
He thawed out the compressor and added freon once thawed.  After that, he got on the phone and got the coil ordered for the installer.
On Monday, they called to verify everything and got the part ordered.
On Tuesday at 9 AM, they came to the house and installed the coil.
Not only did they install the coil, they improved the pipe routing and improved the system overall so that I should not have an issue with it for many years.
My whole interaction with Petrocelli was top notch.
They are a great company and I highly recommend them.
If I ever need another a/c repair, they will be my first call every time.

    Oak Hill Appliance
Overall it was a complete dissappointment, since the first technician decided he had to get the heck out of there, on the second visit, after taking a personal call in Spanish just before lunch time (my wife is fully fluent in Spanish, its her native language) He did not fully explain how to defrost the condenser coil to us, which he should have stayed and verified it had fully defrosted before running out on us to meet his friend for lunch. The third visit, which at least we were not charged for, was performed by another technician and although he spent much more time troubleshooting and defrosting, over 2 hours, did not solve the problem. A few days later he called back and explained that GE had a Service Bulletin on our defrost unit and that if the problem returned (which it did) we would need to spend $600 on just the part to solve our problem. We found out from GE that was not true and if they had just installed a GE defrost timer instead of a generic one, our problem would have been fixed by them. We were charged $239 in labor for less than one hour of work to replace a $25 part. I asked them what was the hourly labor rate, which they don't charge, they base the labor price on what is being done. Since the part being replaced was easy to get to, and they spent less than one hour in the first two visits total, I feel they are overcharging on labor by quite a bit. Heck even the Mercedes dealer doesn't charge that much per hour! After another service company installed a GE part and confirmed that GE does NOT have a $600 defrost unit service bulletin upgrade for our frig, we have had no problems at all with our refrigerator (GE Monogram 42" built in) which is now almost 10 years old. So if you are considering using Oak Hill Appliance, I would strongly suggest you call someone else, unless you like being overcharged for the installation of generic parts that probably wont fix the problem you asked them to fix.....

    COSBYS APPLIANCE SERVICE
Bill was timely, professional and honest. Diagnosis of evaporator fan issue was made immediately upon inspection. He had the ice maker in stock, ordered the evaporator fan motor and was available the next two days for a return installation. Originally, he did not notice the vibrating fan motor on the condenser unit but DID return my call within 24 hours to schedule another visit to install the part, which he ordered BEFORE returning my call. Charged me no trip fee and half of labor costs for second repair (condenser fan motor installation). Both times he took less than 30 minutes to complete repairs!
