    Allied Outdoor Solutions
We had to remove all our newly poured concrete deck done by another vendor. They had the deck grade towards the pool which continuously had dirt. Allied removed and poured a perfectly graded concrete deck with the addition of a carve stone design which was done with perfection. I strongly recommend Allied Outdoor Solutions. They showed professionalism, where actually ahead of schedule and showed up when they said they would. Just the fact they showed up when scheduled was enough to win my confidence.

    Reformed Outdoor Structures
Extremely well!! This is an absolutely fantastic company! Their attention to detail, level of skill, flexibility, and overall work ethic are remarkably outside of, what I've found to be, the norm these days. They were brought in about midway through the process of building a pool, deck, outdoor kitchen, and large covered porch (among other things) to take over for a different company that had begun, but were unable to "adequately" continue the exterior structure portions of the project. To say they faced some challenges in correcting errors made by the previous builder doesn't begin to do the situation justice. They essentially had to restart a large project which had already progressed beyond several "points of no return", and do it under an already shrinking time schedule. The final result well exceeded my expectations. Their willingness and ability to adjust for changes, "create" solutions, and carry them forward to an end was a pleasure to witness I was fortunate to have these guys here when I did, and I very much appreciate all the hard work they put into making my project turn out exactly the way that I wanted. If and when I ever need anything further done on an exterior structure this is literally the only company I'll be willing to call!

    MRZ Contracting
See above. We were so happy with the backyard, we asked MRZ if they could landscape our front yard as it was very overgrown. Sure enough, Clayton came in and landscaped the front, tearing all the old stuff out and he planted plants that I liked and again, that fit with the work I was willing to put into the front yard to keep it looking good. As a bonus, he put in "lightscaping," which is also beautiful and really makes the house look great. I would recommend this company times 1000!

    Timber Craft Design & Construction,LLC
Weather delays aside, the project went extremely well.  Kirk was actually the first contractor we talked to and my instincts told me he was the guy for the job.  However, we wanted to do our due diligence and after speaking 3 additional contractors....we chose Kirk.  His price was competitive and the planning process was more thorough and responsive than any other contractor we spoke to.  We would have gotten the project done a whole month sooner if we had just trusted our initial instincts!

Kirk far and away wins the prize for the most responsive and best communicating contractor that we have ever worked with.  He always shows up when he says he is going to and he'll text you even if he is going to be 10 minutes late!

His crew was a pleasure to work with, too (he is here with them most of the time...he is not just a salesman, he does a lot of the work too).  They kept the job site clean and orderly......cleaning up at days end and putting everything away before they left each day.

The quality of the workmanship is five star....we simply could not recommend him more highly.

If you are looking for an outdoor contractor.....look no further....you can not go wrong choosing Timber Craft!

P.S. One final thing I would say when you are planning a project...allow plenty of time ( a good 4 weeks) for getting approval from your Home Owners Association and your City Planners office.....It is important to be as up to speed as possible on all the requirements by your HOA and City so that your plans reflect all the details they need in your submission.  Otherwise, you have to modify and resubmit and that eats up a lot of time.

    Clear Creek Home Improvements

Clear Creek Home Improvements ("CCHI") worked with us from the design phase of our outdoor kitchen through completion. CCHI was onsite every day during major construction and was attentive to every detail. Everything was completed on time and within the original estimate. We could not be happier with our outdoor kitchen, and will certainly use CCHI again for future projects that we have planned. I would not hesitate to recommend CCHI for any job in the categories listed in this review.

They did a great job.  The B on responsiveness had to do with the rain putting them behind, but they still should have reached out to communicate that to me.  Overall, great experience.

    DUNLAP CONSTRUCTION
Ron Dunlap and his team did a superb job and delivered the project in a very successful manner, quality, timeliness, esthetics, cost, professionalism coupled with courteous behaviors. What a change this have delivered to our house, a major upgrade.

Ron already out shined the competition from the beginning during the sales process with estimation visit and quotation delivery. The competition was two highly ranked Angie's list companies, Bantex and Core concepts. Dunlap came to us based on recommendations from our network. Ron did a far more detailed review during his estimation visit including asking far more relevant question to ensure better understanding but also for clarification and explanations for our understanding. The Dunlap quote came in first, with best details including requested break out into two sections, wall/windows and raised cathedral ceiling including separate pricing and in the end by far the most competitive price. For the other two companies I had to make multiple follow ups in order to get the quotes which then did not have the clearly specified break out sections, less details in the quote of scope/work to be done and truly uncompetitive prices. To be honest I was truly disappointed when I received these quotes from companies that had such high Angie's ratings... BUT it made my selection decision to go with Dunlap construction very easy!

The whole project execution by Ron, his team and sub contractors came in fully in line with the performance show during quote process, professional, thorough, reliable, communication, responsiveness, quality and timeliness coupled with courteous behavior and cleanliness delivered during the whole project.

When you get quality, respect, responsiveness, timeliness with courteous performance at competitive price what more can you ask for! We strongly recommend Ron Dunlap/Dunlap Construction!

Luis and team were excellent to deal with.  He assisted withproviding us with a multiple design options and helping define the final design.  With a project this size you expect problems and we did have a few.  However, Luis was extremely helpful working through them and resolving those issues.  The contractors working on site were courteous and efficient.

    Archadeck Of Tarrant County

Some of their sub-contractors were excellent and one was unsatisfactory.  The concrete work was outstanding and the stone work was excellent.  However, the framers were competent but careless and the roofer was completely unsatisfactory.  My biggest complaint by far with the company was the occasional complete lack of communication.  Many times they would neither answer nor return my calls.  My only other complaint was a lack of supervision.  A few times we would get home to find completed work not done in accordance with the instructions we left.  Most of the time the sub-contractors worked unsupervised.

The good news is that they remedied all the problems except for the chips on the stamped concrete floor caused by the framers dropping their tools.  They were always polite, accommodating and easy to work with.

    Chibli Stone Works
The appointment went fine.  We were looking to replace our back deck, which was literally falling apart.  We have several big Oak trees in the area and wanted to discuss ideas for a new outdoor living space that would also preserve the Oak trees.  Eduardo has some ideas, but ultimately, we opted to go a different direction.  Though we discussed ideas, what we received in writing was more an estimate for work than a design.
