Our complete master bath project went very well. The work area was kept very clean and Jimmy and Jeremy took great care in completing the bath to our specs. We were treated very fair on the cost of materials and were not limited to just a few products. We will be asking them to bid on our kitchen renovation in a few months.

    Patriot Custom Homes Inc
Well the front deck that was supposed to be 8 by 8 they built it 654 and the handrail was 28in wide which is more narrow than the door and it made it impossible to move furniture in and out of the place the trim that they started to install they were putting in upside down the cabinet's when they remove the old ones they did not finish the flooring or let me know to finish the flooring underneath them and they reinstalled the cabinets the new ones so I had to go then retake up those cabinets which were plumbed in and everything permanently and remove them finished the floor and reinstall them. And not to mention his guys were drinking beer in my house while I was gone and getting drunk all day which explains the quality of their work which is poor the owner Dave Wood is a hot head and has a temper they were supposed to start on the roof and they never touched it the siding that they put on the front of my house was the wrong siding so now I have 3 sides of my house in one kind of siding and another kind in the front which looks stupid these guys are horrible and then they turned around after I fired them and tried to sue me for the rest of the money to finish the job and try to send me to collections for it not to mention he has no idea how to write a contract because he got my mother to sign it and she does not own the home I do so from illegal contracts all the way up to not even knowing what they're doing these guys suck stay away from them

    Diamond Decks
Kyle came out and designed us an outdoor kitchen and cover for our existing deck. He was professional, thorough, and extremely knowledgable. He answered any questions we had (and we had a lot). The end result was above and beyond our expectations. We have recommended Diamond Decks to many of our friends. A+ service all the way around.

    Steve Major Construction
Steve Major was very professional. He takes pride in his work and it is very evident. He went over everything with me in detail. He was punctual and worked over time to get the job done. I was very pleased with his work. I highly recommend Steve. He is also very reasonable in price.

    Hill Country Home Svc
This contractor wasted at least a month of my time. He even advised me to cancel an appointment for putting in a privacy fence until after he had figured out the design for my building, which I did. Now I have no fence and no bid. Since he was taking a lot longer than he had said he would, I gave him several opportunities to let me know if he had changed his mind about bidding. Each time he assured me he was still gathering information.

I had worked with this contractor before and knew that he tends to underestimate the time his work will take. And I had seen the negative reviews on Angie's List. But I was so pleased with the bathroom remodel he did for me a few years ago that I was willing to take a chance. Jason has a great design sense and does high quality work. He had listened and worked closely with me on the bathroom to meet my budget and still give me exactly what I wanted (see previous review). I am very disappointed that he didn't follow through on this project.  I would have been completely fine with him deciding to back out of the project if he had communicated that to me. Stringing a customer along and then dropping them with no explanation is extremely unprofessional.

    Statewide Remodeling
We contacted Statewide in March to remodel our Master Bathroom Shower.  We were told it would take 6 to 8 weeks for the materials to be ordered and for work to begin.  About mid April, before work started, we discovered a major issue with another bathroom that was leaking something awful into our garage. Our insurance refused to cover it, and we did not have the funds to do both bathrooms. So we called Statewide and explained what had happened. We asked if we could cancel the Master Bathroom Shower and shift the amount we had already paid to the smaller leaking disaster bathroom and have them work on it instead. They were very sympathetic, and worked with us.  The smaller bathroom was a more complicated of a repair, but it was done to perfection. The crew was unbelievably efficient, cleaned up everything from their destruction and reconstruction of the Shower/tub where the leak was coming from. They repaired the drywall, and made sure that there was no structural damage from the leak prior to completing the job. It took a little bit of time for them to get started on the job,  (6 to 8 weeks). However, once they were on the job it went extremely quickly.

    Best Buy Walk-In Bath Tubs
The project was agreed upon in June, 2013 and completed in July, 2013.  Installers arrived as scheduled, were courteous, installed the tub in a professional manner and cleaned up the work area before leaving.  The tub (and shower) worked 'as advertised'.  Approximately 1 year later the faucet malfunctioned.  I called and spoke with either Donna or Lindsey who immediately scheduled a time for a replacement faucet to be installed.  The installer arrived as scheduled and the faucet was replaced at no additional cost (since it was under warranty).  It's a joy to work with a product and service provider who delivers on their promises.  The quality of the tub, motor and accessory items are of good quality.  We feel like we received good value for our investment.

    Legacy Bath & Kitchen
They were very professional and told us they would finish in 5 days and actually finished in 3 days.  They were very clean.  A few weeks after they completed the work I had an issue with a metal bar they had installed because it was not sealed properly and they came back out and fixed this at no additional cost.  They offer a lifetime warranty on their work and use high quality materials.  We are very happy with the work they did.  The price initially quoted on the estimate did not change despite any issues that came up.  The prices are a little high but well worth the quality of work.

    Creekside Cabinet Co
I called Creekside Cabinet and scheduled an on-site review and estimate. Even before they came out Sarah called and asked for pics of our cabinets and sent me some possible design options. Trevor came to the house as scheduled, discussed options with us, took measurements and got a general idea of the direction that we wanted to go. Within 24 hours we had a general design with pics of our kitchen. Sarah and I spoke on the phone several times and then met in person to go over the designs. We had grey washed oak cabinets that were 22 years old and wanted to replace the doors and paint the cabinets white. Trevor was concerned that painted oak might not look like we expected and asked us to go by the shop and look at some samples before we decided how to proceed. I stopped by and Sarah allowed me to take the sample door home to see how it would look in our house and to let my husband look at it before we made a decision to stay with the oak or put a veneer over the oak to get a flat smooth paint. My husband and I both loved the painted oak so we decided to move ahead with the existing cabinets with new doors. Sarah worked with us to minimize the cost and to make suggestions that make the cabinets look better without huge costs. I know that I was a real pain for a about a week until we completed the design and Sarah was always polite and went out of her way to make us happy and to give us the best kitchen for the price. We even made appointments to talk with the actual construction guys to see how they work. My husband is a mechanical designer with the University of Texas as is very picky, he was very impressed with the shop, tools, staff etc.
Once we signed a contract Sarah gave us estimates of the date that our installation would begin based on their construction schedule. They were right on target. They completed the cabinets sent me pics via text so that I could authorize a payment according to the schedule. The installation crew scheduled to show up actually a day or so earlier than they originally estimated. They made sure to take every precaution to protect our house during the sanding and painting process. They were always punctual, respectful, and professional.  We had some delays due to an unforseen issue that arose and some cold weather that delayed the paint process but they finished as scheduled taking into consideration the weather that they could not control. The job was completed and even the smallest concerns were addressed immediately and to our satisfactions. We could not be happier and are planning on using them to redo my master bath as soon as we complete everything in process and verify all final cost.
    These are my husbands comments:
There are two criteria I judged this experience by.  As a meticulous mechanical designer, I am
familiar with what went into the dynamics of the design phase, and I can assure
any prospective customer that you will be pleased with the personal attention,
and the ability of Creekside to quickly portray what your cabinets will look
    like.  In the preliminary phase,
measuring, design, bids, and negotiating - Creekside gets a solid "A"
After that, I judge craft.  We used a lot of carved trim that took
extraordinary skill and workmanship to match, and meet my standards of
excellence.  Creekside did a superior job
in every respect.  One can quickly
ascertain that beyond making a living and providing great value for the dollar,
these guys take pride in their craft.  They
are cabinet makers.  It shows in every
detail.  For Build Quality, on site
preparation, installation, and finishing I give Creekside an A+  You will not find better cabinet makers in
    the market they serve.

    Austin Home Works
.It is with a heavy head I write this review.  We had such high hopes with Dennis and his reviews on Angie's list.  He was very promising in the beginning ensuring us his 25% charge for profit (2x the average in this area) was due to his unrelenting attention to detail and his desire to not nickel and dime anyone.
We had many issues with Dennis in workmanship and integrity, both during the 10 week process and continuing today, that we are taking legal action against Dennis and Austin Home works.  For that reason we don feel comfortable sharing the details of case until after we reach a conclusion.
What we will say is: today most the work "completed" by Austin Home Works HAS been re-worked or is scheduled to be re-worked.  Addtionally we were charged for multiple items that were not even installed.  Additionally, Dennis attempted to add several overages that were neither disscussed nor agreeed upon swelling our bill by over 25%!
Further inspections of the work, by licensed inspectors and other contractors found the ALL of the work sub standard and certainly not of the "Custom" grade.
After two water leaks in lines relocated by Austin Home Works causing and addional 6K in damage we felt it was time to at least warn people of the risk with Austin Home Works.
