Our complete master bath project went very well. The work area was kept very clean and Jimmy and Jeremy took great care in completing the bath to our specs. We were treated very fair on the cost of materials and were not limited to just a few products. We will be asking them to bid on our kitchen renovation in a few months.

I observed a special in Angie's List for $300 for labor to install a back-splash.  I ordered and paid for this service back in early February for a Valentine's gift for my wife.  I received a receipt but never heard from the provider for over 30-days.  When I called the provider there excuse was that they had many requests for the same special and were overbooked.  This does not excuse the fact of not calling the customers and letting them know or when they can be scheduled.  I could tell that the provider was not adequately staffed and relied on one person for every response.  Eventually, a month and half later, the provider came to our residence and took measurements and told us they would get back with us for the amount of back-splash tiles needed for our kitchen.  Another month later, a service person showed up at our residence wanting to do the back-splash.  We had to turn them away because we never received the amount needed to purchase the back-splash tiles.  Two days later, I received the amount needed to purchase.  The service person returned and did a wonderful job installing the back-splash and stayed late to get the job completed for us knowing the difficulties we had with the provider.  Overall, I appreciated the service person doing a fantastic job with install but I would never refer this provider to another person due to their lack of responsiveness and care for their customers.

The Vendor was very professional, and showed up when he was supposed to.  Worked around our schedule so he could get in and out to get the job done.  I would use the vendor anywhere he will travel for me.

I completed two reviews of this service, both very good, because I was sent TWO questionnaires. The first one was not acknowledged, so I completed the second one that came a month after the service was performed.

I was NOT trying to pad the review box. If you don't want two reviews, don't send me two questionnaires.

Wonderful! They arrived on time as promised. They were very polite. They cleaned the old grout and put in new. They were quick and it was all done by lunch time. I want them back to do the rest of the house.

    WILD WEST REMODELING
He did a very good job on everything except the back splash tile. He had never dealt with that kind of tile before and the first batch was hung backwards. It wasn't a big deal. He didn't charge us extra to put up the replacement tile we got. It all came out pretty well. He was a really reliable guy and I would use him again. The price was about what I expected. He did a really good job on the door and on the fence replacement he did an excellent job. He had a good sense of humor. He's interactive and shows a lot of expertise in certain areas. He was really an interesting guy. He was very professional.

5 stars. Absolutely outstanding work and I would recommend him without hesitation. Much different than most of his people in his craft that we interviewed. He is busy and you will have to be patient for his service, but it is totally worth it. He is not a tile setter, but an artist.

    L & L CONSTRUCTION
We had the standard "new home" cultured marble shower in our master bathroom and it was leaking. We were not sure where the leak was coming from. After having several companies cancel their appointments to come out and give us an estimate, we finally managed to get two estimates and one of them was from L&L Construction. The estimates were about $1500 apart and both companies seemed capable of performing the work. The big difference was one company was a large company and would use separate contractors for each part of the job plumbers, tile guys, finish carpenters, etc. L&L construction is pretty much a one man show and we liked that since we seemed to get along well with Luc, the owner.

As for the actual work we could not be happier. Working with Luc was easy. He dealt with all of the changes that seem to happen in the middle of job without any problems. He showed up on time, always cleaned up his work area and was very courteous of our home and schedule. He also offered suggestions that improved the overall appearance and functionality of the bathroom. He also seemed to take pride in his work and did not cut corners even if it meant that things took a little longer. Probably the best thing I can say about Luc is he actually did what he said he was going to do and even a little more. If you are considering a remodel project we would highly recommend L&L construction.

    WILD WEST REMODELING
In the beginning, Curtis met with us and took measurements and a sample of the tile we wanted installed, and promised us a call with an estimate. He called when he said he would and gave us the $3500 estimate which included everything for the backsplash except the tile, the entire fencing job and installation of the back door and hardware.
The price seemed extremely reasonable as the pickets we agreed on for the fence were to be cedar and not the treated pine the previous contractor installed for us (which didn't even last 2 years without buckling and bending), and so we told him we were ready to proceed when he could fit us in the schedule.
A few days later, Curtis came to the house to start the job. He had the old back-door out and the new one installed in 45 minutes and it needed NO further adjustments, it was perfect. We love the new door which came with a pet door pre-installed for our dogs.
When he got started on the fence, it was surprising to us that he did it all by himself. He's such a hard worker, and in about a day and half had the entire back fence installed and it's very sturdy and looks just beautiful. I was amazed that he got so much work done in so little time and with such quality.
On the backsplash, we hit a couple of hiccups. The glass mosaic tile I'd purchased was unlike anything he'd ever worked with before. I believe that most of his tile work has been with ceramic tile, and this particular tile that I bought was extremely unusual and difficult to work with, it was concave and didn't adhere to the mastic as it should, and it didn't have the mesh backing to hold the tile in better, and cutting it was an even riskier business, because cutting it vertically caused the tile to crack and break. So, there came a point in the installation process as I saw the struggles, I decided to go a different route, and I bought a more forgiving tile for installation. It was actually my 'second choice' and I think that since it had all the normal elements (net backing and all), it was a bit easier to install and I'm extremely happy with how it turned out.
There was much to like about this contractor. He personally was a very likable person, and he inspired confidence by the easy way he took any problems in stride. I don't think that I am the easiest person to work for because I hold people to pretty high standards, but Curtis was able to meet and then exceed many of those expectations.

Abbey Flooring Center of San Marcos
Unbelievable Service. Garret was my guy, guiding my choices making sure We had all the details. We delt directly with them for our hardwood floors and they went in without delay and look extraordinary and were no more expensive than the big box stores, but I have Garret's cell number if i ever have a problem. Thats the kind of service i appreciate, but given they way this installation went, i bet I will never have a problem to report to him.

They were also sub contracted by our contractor and with the knowledge of the product showed us How real travertine would be comperable to ceramic tile when all the finishing pieces were included in the price. We ended up with a beautifully tiled bathroom that was done exactly when it was scheduled and without dely or excuses. That was a breath of fresh air.

During install My wife went into Labor three weeks early.  Garret was out there motivating his guys to "get this done we have a baby coming home!"  They did 1200 sqFt of wood and 600 Sqft of tile including a custom shower in Three or four days, they even worked the weekend for us.

We only mark them an "A" because thats as high as the scale goes. I really cant stress enough how great Garret and Abbey floors was to us.   They Have my business.
