    It all started when our good friend in Salado told us that he would get credit from DirecTV if we had it installed at our home and credited him.
    My wife called DirecTV using the information on their official flier.  A 30ish year old bearded man (phone number 254-654-7814, Installer ID/Via the workorder/MATX997239) showed up at our house, very late, on a Saturday PM because he could not find the place.  Said he had no GPS or WAZE.
    He looked around outside, acted like it was an impossible thing because of our metal roof, and informed my wife that he would have to dig a post hole for the satellite dish and that he would return shortly.  He said he would be back later because he forgot to bring all of his equipment.
    It the meantime, he came in and looked around the house because he wanted to come in and see where the TV was going to go.
    He said it would be very hard to install the DirecTV because we do not have a crawlspace under the roof and he acted like it was going to be a big deal.
    His white pickup truck had no decals on it and he was not in any uniform.  He said he had to go back to temple to get his equipment, but called us 30 minutes later and said his truck was smoking and that he would be back on Sunday.
    WE BECAME SUSPICIOUS and called DirecTV, spoke with their customer service rep at 800-531-5000, and decided to cancel because it felt like we were being setup for a robbery or something.
    The DirecTV customer service rep informed us that he would report it to his supervisor because something was very wrong.  His name was Shane, Employee ID 100238973.  We asked Shane to cancel the order and to contact the shady installer.  He said that he would and assured us that our order would be cancelled.
    The next morning, SUNDAY, the shady installer showed up at our gate and we ran him off!
    On 7/25/2012, we called DirecTV back and said we would try them again if they sent out a professional crew to install our system.TO OUR DISMAY, they informed us that we HAD ALREADY HAD OUR SYSTEM INSTALLED and canceled it.  So it would be about $199.00 Extra for them to come back...
    We said, NO THANKS.
    To add insult to injury, they put my wife through a 1:20 hour phone ordeal as she tried to explain the problem...After speaking to Kim, then William, she was transferred FIVE MORE TIMES and nobody ever spoke to the person before them.
    Even worse, DirecTV has called us TWICE now demanding their equipment back.  Once last week and once today, August 14th, 2012.  They are demanding that we return the equipment that was never installed!!!
    We want to warn and advise others about DirecTV's lack of professionalism, sorry attitude and poor business ethics...
