    Work was scheduled and Horizon Home Services failed to arrive to do the repair. On 2 occasions. I scheduled an appointment at my house to repair a clothes washer on a Friday between 8am and 11am, and I left at hours after the arrival time slot at 3:45pm with no call and no show of the repair person at any time during the day. I rescheduled for the following Wednesday for 3pm to 6pm and left the house at 6pm again with no call and no show of the repair person. Trent was the person I talked to both times concerning the scheduled repair work. I REALLY needed my washer repaired, but he and his company completely failed me. I DO NOT recommend relying on his company to do appliance repair work for others.

    I made 3 phone calls initially and he was going to call me back when he found the part. He didn't call back, so I called the next day after leaving a message during business hours and not hearing back from him that day. He had gotten the part and could come the next day to replace it. I said I could be here after noon. He was confused and said, Oh, I should come at 1030 or 11? No, after noon. He was going to call me to let me know when he was coming at noon. He didn't call, so I called him again. He was in South Austin and would get to me next. About 1:30 he came with cap in hand. He was here less than 5 minutes, removing the old filter, putting the new cap on and putting the filter back in. I was rather shocked when he said the charge was $100! I had a coupon, so only paid $85 for a "$25)" part and service of 2 minutes.

    The service man did some test and determined it was the compressor. Luckily it was still under warranty so we only paid labor cost. He ordered the compressor and came back when he said he would and replaced the compressor. Very satisfied with the service.

    I bought a deal for appliance diagnosis. I called and requested an appointment. John said he was driving and will call back. I waited, but no call. So, I called again to request an appointment. He was hesitated and then asked what brand the fridge is. He then informed me that he does not service Samsung fridge. There was no where on the deal to say that he did not service Samsung appliance, and his company name is AAA All Brands. I'm requesting Angie's list to refund the money to me.

    I asked them for my receipt and they have not given me it. They charge me an additional $360 for the part that they replaced. It is for my rental home and I am satisfied that the stove is fixed. I need the receipt for tax purposes. It took them about a month to get the part needed. I needed to let my tenants know when they were coming. They just called me one early morning like 6 o‘clock and told me that they were coming to fix the stove. So I had no time to prepare my tenants. They can have more communication with their customer. I told them my address and phone number and I did not get the receipt.

    Todd promptly contacted me but took 2 days for him to be able to look at the washer and another week to get the parts in.  Almost 2 weeks without a washing machine is difficult.
    I would probably try someone else next time to see if service is any quicker.

    The rep called me to let me know there was nothing that could be done to save the dishwasher and did not charge for the evaluation.  I appreciated that he was not pushy about providing a new dishwasher but was willing if I wanted one. I have management of 5 rentals in Round Rock and will call on this provider again if needed. He saved me time and money.

    Very responsive, I called (not necessarily looking for immediate service), but they had a cancellation that afternoon and scheduled me on the fly.  Carried some garbage disposals in stock which was convenient and fairly priced - labor is on the steep side, $180-200 for an installation that took 30-40 minutes.  
    Toilet repair, replaced middle assembly under toilet lid. Very fast, slightly on the pricey side ($229), but they back up their work with a 2 year warranty
    Minor upsell to "Round Table" annual service, which was about break-even in price since it came with several discounts. With that Round Table offer they flushed both water heater units
    Overall fair price, high quality, very responsive.

    I called to see when they could come out and install a gas stove in the
    same place where my old gas range was located and the lady said they
    could come out this afternoon.  I then asked if they were bonded or
    insured for my protection and then she asked me "Why would you ask such a
    question sir?"  I said, in case something was wrong in the install or
    as a result of it that the repair would be covered etc, which to me was a
    standard question and answer but to her, "Well, that is just a very
    unusual question sir. Our guys check it before they leave and make sure
    it is ok." So, when I politely stated that it was a comfort and safety
    thing with me because of our new child, she then said, "I think you need
    to call someone else to do this install."
    So basically they are
    not bonded or insured. If you are comfortable with that then great. But
    an A rating on Angie for an uninsured possibly unliscensed person to fix
    something like gas ... hmmmm. No, no thanks. That does not work for me.

    He called ahead to get an explanation of the problem and did some research on how to source parts. But instead of charging us for parts ahead of time, he came out and assessed the problem. It turned out that a minor tweak solved the problem. If he had not, he would have purchased the parts and done the fix without charging for a second service call. The guy is personable and clearly a pro.
