    Horizon Appliance Repair
Work was scheduled and Horizon Home Services failed to arrive to do the repair. On 2 occasions. I scheduled an appointment at my house to repair a clothes washer on a Friday between 8am and 11am, and I left at hours after the arrival time slot at 3:45pm with no call and no show of the repair person at any time during the day. I rescheduled for the following Wednesday for 3pm to 6pm and left the house at 6pm again with no call and no show of the repair person. Trent was the person I talked to both times concerning the scheduled repair work. I REALLY needed my washer repaired, but he and his company completely failed me. I DO NOT recommend relying on his company to do appliance repair work for others.

    Sun City Appliance Service
Called on a Monday to request service, reached VM. Guy (the company owner and apparently the lead tech, or possibly the only one) returned the call about an hour later, listened to details of the issue, stated he was onsite with clients at the moment but asked me to send details of washing machine (model and serial #) via text and he would call us back that evening. Called us that evening as promised and advised of likely causes of issue and costs involved with fix for each. We then scheduled him to come out four days later (the soonest he had available). He arrived on time that day, diagnosed the problem within five minutes, and had it corrected shortly thereafter (fortunately the issue was the cheaper of the two possible issues he had discussed with us beforehand). If we need any additional appliance repair work done, Guy and his company will be right at the top of the list.

    AAA All Brands Appliance
As always, AAA provided us with excellent service. There were multiple items and research required to fix my appliance and it now works as good as it did when it was new! I will continue to use AAA All Brands for all of our appliance repair.

    Daigle Appliance Repair
I have kind of a unique situation. I came in from out of town and needed to find a repair tech quickly. I found Mr Daigles company online and thought he sounded perfect but unfortunately, Mr. Daigle didnt want my business. I called twice and it went to voicemail. His voice message states he also responds via text, so I texted him. I explained that I have a replacement part and need an installation, he responded, and we agreed a diagnostic needed to be done on my mothers refrigerator to be sure the part I have is the solution. He stated what that would cost ($50, waived if he does the repair) and I said that sounded good and asked him to let me know if he could do the job. Then, silence. He stops responding, with no explanation. Im not sure what I could have done differently to enlist his help. Should I have begged? Is the job not big enough for him? Is it too difficult for him? To me, we went pretty far down the path for him to just disregard the conversation and stop responding. Im busy, too, and dont have time to keep chasing him down. Im trying to take care of this for my mother who is in the hospital, and I was hoping to have her fridge working for her when she returns home. She had a big company come out and run a diagnostic when it stopped cooling but she felt they were not being forthright about their costs and she was not able to understand the technicians accent (my mother is from another time and another country) so she felt uneasy about hiring them. She ended up ordering the part but did not have them do the installation. So, I was trying to find another repair tech to do the install quickly. This situation was explained to Mr Daigle. I thought his company sounded great due to his website, in which he states how he dislikes the big company practices, promises to treat each customer like family and can often make same day or next day appointments, operates the business with TLC, and discusses prayer and Gods blessings. This all led me to trust him, but the job I offered was apparently not good enough for him to accept. I was very hopeful that Id found someone, especially considering Ive come in from out of town and have other obligations besides getting this fridge fixed. In summary, I did call the Lil Guy and unfortunately I was disappointed, and Im back to square one after wasting my time and energy.

    Mr. Appliance of Austin
I've had a repeating failure on our KitchenAide refrigerator where the damper that controls the coldness of the refrigeration side (cool air coming from the freezer side) fails. It's been replaced 3 times. We also had a leaking filter hose/case. The Mr. Appliance Repair folks have been quite prompt getting the replacement parts and taking care of this very bad manufacturer problem. The replacement part was a fee for the first visit, but the other 2 replacements were under warranty, but there's still a service fee for the visit.

A-Plus Air Conditioning & Home Solutions
FANTASTIC !!!!! Kevin was AWESOME ! He was fast, diligent, and professional. He knew exactly what to do and was very careful of my items. He arrived on time and got right to work, finishing the projects in half the time. The office staff was equally amazing! Courteous and very understanding when I needed to reschedule due to the flu. I really appreciated their cheerful attitude and flexibility in rescheduling my appointment. I will always call A-Plus Energy Mgmt. for all of my electrical and home solution needs.

    Sears Appliance Repair
10 minutes before the technician arrived, the fridge automatically started working. The technician was then unable to diagnose the issue and left taking my money for doing essentially nothing. I understand there is a per trip charge so I paid but this leaves a very bad taste in a customer's mouth.

    Daigle Appliance Repair
It was about $100, but what happened was it was leaking and he got a part. After he came back a week later with the part, it turned out that the problem was more severe and it was going to cost a whole lot more money. He told me it was going to cost way too much to repair. It was cheaper to buy a new refrigerator. That $100 was for him coming out and looking at it, but I was refunded 90% of that. For the cost I would put down nothing. I would use them again for sure. They came out, thought it was a certain part, ordered the part. When it came in, brought it back and realized at that point it was a much more intricate repair and it would cost me more to repair it than it would to buy a new refrigerator. It took not even 10 minutes the first time he came out.

    AAA All Brands Appliance
I bought the coupon from Angies List to reduce the usual $75 service call. I told him what was wrong with the oven, gave him the serial and model number by phone so he could buy the part in advance of arrival. He was here for exactly 15 minutes to install and charged another $144 more. I had checked online for the part and in most cases it was less than $40.

    AMS Appliance Inc
It went OK. Kinda like after a first date when you're not sure if you care if the phone rings again. We paid for an estimate (about $55) and a few days later - after some AMS research - we were given an estimate, a garbled voice message asking for $300. We expected a written/detailed estimate of what we were paying for and whether or not anything was warrantied. We probably weren't a good fit for AMS, given our scope of work... and our expectation.
