My experience with the Presbyterian Hospital was the best one I have ever had. It was very nice to do all the paper work and pre-labs before the actual surgery date. On the day of surgery everything was ran smoothly, organized and most of all very caring. Communication between departments was spot on. This is a very well run hospital that does great business but most importantly puts their patients first.

The experience was alright. I was not terribly impressed with them but I was not real upset about them either. The staff was courteous and helpful to an extent. The doctor was able to communicate with me well. The office and waiting room was clean.

My daughter had already been seeing an Ear Nose Throat specialist because she was born tongue tied. So I took my daughter to our board certified ENT on Monday morning. I told him what the doctor at Lakepoint had accused my wife of doing with the Q-tips, and he said that the doctor at Lakepoint was ?crazy.? He said that my daughter?s ears had in fact burst, but he said that the ears had opened up naturally due to an extreme infection. He said that the doctor apparently did not know what she was doing and that my wife had done nothing wrong. Then that week I asked our daycare provider if my daughter?s diapers were too small, and the caregivers who care for infants all day long said that my daughter?s diapers were the perfect size for her. Needless to say, my wife was very upset by the doctor?s accusations. I believe the doctor holds a grudge against mothers and that she should not be allowed to advise mothers whatsoever, especially medically. To make matters worst the receptionists at Lakepoint did not correct the misspelling of my wife?s name on her medical chart even though we told both the doctor and the receptionist of the mistake. Several weeks later we started receiving numerous bills from Lakepoint and the doctor since our insurance declined payment due to the misspelled name. My wife unsuccessfully resolved the situation after numerous calls to both Lakepoint and our insurance company. So we paid the bills in the full out of pocket without insurance coverage because we know that Lakepoint and its parent company, Tenant, will not hesitate to report you to collections even when the company is in error.

The ambulance took me there, as they said that my health was way too bad, and there was no time to get to Presbyterian Hospital. They did try their best to save my life, and stabilize me, but they worsened the situation even more. They also tried to charge me huge bill for doing nothing but worsening my health. I was then transferred to Presbyterian Hospital for further treatment.

Went in this place really hopeful, since this is the only weekend clinic around. There was no one in the waiting room and I was taken to a room. The nurse that walked me back was very nice. The doctor was ok, talked a lot. I told him that I was allergic to a certain antibiotic and he seemed to understand and prescribed a med I had never taken before. My husband picked it up for me and the pharmacist was worried because it was very similar to the med I am allergic to, so pharmacist called the office back to try to change it for me, but was told no. I took this medicine and within a day I started feeling jittery and getting hives-the usual allergic reaction. This is 2 days later, I called the clinic and left a message to get this med changed. The nurse that called me back was a different one(gruff voice-not the same that I had seen before) and told me that "sorry, you will have to go to your primary care doctor, we can't change the medicine THIS is an urgent care center" I told her again that I tested positive for strep, and I only need the antibiotic changed because I was having an allergic reaction. She was very rude and repeated the same thing. I was in tears and feeling terrible. My husband finally convinced them that this was very shoddy medical practices to leave a patient not only prescribed a med that the pharmacist knew in the beginning would cause me a problem, but then to tell me "too bad" and leave me without any antibiotic at all. We will never ever go there again, nor will I ever recommend this to anyone. Better off suffering through until you can get to a real medical office.

They have extended hours and they have a lot of available technology, like to do refills and notifying when your orders are ready. You can do everything online.

Walgreens provides easy access, which is great for me because I travel a lot but can still get my prescripts at other locations and such.
