    North Texas Orthopedics

The staff is very friendly and quick to get the appointment for me.  Dr. Briseno was very helpful and showed us exactly what was going on. I have dealt with North Texas Ortho previously as my son played football all through middle and high school.  They were very kind and informative then and still remain the same, that is why I went back and will go back to them if ever needed.

    Bodywise Therapy, PLLC
Unfortunately, no modality of massage is one size fits all. His rates are comparable to other therapists with his level of expertise, but unfortunately I was just not getting the results that I needed to justify the expense. I have since started traveling back to my old massage therapist, a 2 1/2 hour round trip, as her modality works very well for me. This does not speak ill of Mason or of the service that he offers, it just wasn't the right modality to help keep me free of pain.

    Heavenly Bliss Day Spa
Admittedly, it wasn't the most professional experience during the application. She had me lay on the table at a weird angle that felt awkward. And she put the tools (not sure what these were, as my eyes were closed - felt like small jars) directly on my shoulder, chest, etc., while she was doing it. You have to be pretty comfortable with someone in your personal space. However, she did such a great job on my lashes, I'll get over it. And prices were very reasonable.
They do nails, too. The ladies showed me a book with photos of all the cool nail designs they can do, which are gorgeous. I am not necessarily a Helllo Kitty-nails kind of girl, but am definitely going back for a manicure/pedi next week.
The main thing is that they are so friendly and attentive. And do such great work at a very reasonable price. I did not get any massage services so I can't comment on that but I am considering getting the chair massage next time. Will update my review if I do.
I am looking forward to my next visit and would definitely recommend it to friends.

    The Massage Works
Seems to be a pattern here about the front desk/management. We purchased a Groupon through them and were pretty much treated like second class citizens.
I cant comment on the therapists (wish I could!) as we showed up for our scheduled appointment and they told me the therapist called in and they would need to reschedule us. We didn't even receive a call in advance letting us know the therapist called in which was odd since our appointment was late in the afternoon. We then scheduled an appointment which I later emailed and asked to reschedule days in advance. After going back and forth the next few days there wasn't a date we could agree on and I emailed and confirmed we wouldn't be able to make it on the scheduled day. I then received a email saying our Groupon would be forfeited since we didn't have a 24 hour notice. THEY WERENT EVEN KIND ENOUGH TO CALL US IN ADVANCE TO LET US KNOW THEY COULDNT ACCOMODATE OUR APPOINTMENT THAT WE SHOWED UP FOR but boom just like that I lost $70 when I emailed in advance to try and confirm a new date.
I was over emailing so I called to try and resolve it and told the gentleman on the phone about the process we had been through and he opened with "Can I talk now?!". From there it got really combative and at the end of the day we lost our Groupon. Which what do they care, they've already been paid for it anyway?
No value on customer service. Not surprised to read they cannot keep personnel because if they don't care about their customers they likely do not care about their massage therapists.
There are so many massage options and many run Groupon deals. Choose anyone but Massage Works if you would like to actually get a massage

    Mcculloch, Dr. Patrick C
The staff at his offices are always very punctual and quick. When I went in for my first appointment, they did an xray in the office, and reviewed it with me within 15 minutes or so. Dr. McCulloch had another person (a resident?) with him when he examined my shoulder. He had me do various movements while he examined the affected joint. He then sent me to get CT scans and an MRI, with a follow-up appointment to review the results. At the follow-up, he said that the broken bone had healed together fully, but had not joined in the correct location. This caused a bone spur in the middle of the collarbone and caused the end of the collarbone to be in the wrong location in my shoulder. The end of the collarbone was rubbing inside the shoulder, causing degenerative arthritis in the shoulder joint. The solution was to surgically remove the bone spur and the end of the bone.
His estimates of when I would be able to return to work and when I would be able to use my shoulder after surgery were VERY short. He said I could return to work 4 days after surgery, but when that time came I was totally unable to work and was thankful that I had already planned to be out additional days. His estimate to me of when I would have full use of my shoulder contradicted what he (or his office) sent to my physical therapist.
I never saw Dr. McCulloch on the day of my surgery - not before surgery or in recovery afterwards. Various nurses met me and all verbally confirmed the surgery location, but I was put under anesthesia before seeing anyone mark where the surgery would happen. I had been told that I would not be put under until the doctor had seen me and had marked on my skin the incision area for my confirmation - this did not happen!! I learned while I was in prep, getting my IVs, that he had an assistant who would be working on my shoulder with him! I had never met her at any of my 4 previous appointments, and Dr. McCulloch never mentioned that someone else would be working on my shoulder.
The company that he said i had to use to purchase my sling and recovery devices was very unprofessional and overcharged me compared to the same devices purchased from Amazon, which I was not allowed to do.

My sons and I have been seeing Dr. Sullivan for many years. He is friendly and professional. His treatments are customized for each of us and are effective. He is punctual, except when his partner is sick and he is seeing her patients as well as his (not a common occurrence, but it did happen at our last visit). When we first started seeing Dr. Sullivan, the office person we dealt with was very friendly and enjoyable to work with. The current office staff is competent and professional, but I was spoiled by the relationship I had with the predecessor. I don't use the therapy in the back very often, but when I have, I have been pleased with the service provided. North Hills Chiropractic is no longer a convenient location for me, so I have tried a couple other chiropractors, and have not been satisfied with them. It is worth it to drive the extra distance to see Dr. Sullivan. NHCHC has another doctor, but I have not seen her, so I cannot comment

Richwine Applied Kinesiology & Chiropractic Clinic
This clinic is popular, making it hard to get an appointment right away. But that, to me, is a good sign. The receptionist was friendly and courteous, The office was tranquil and calm. I arrived early and enjoyed the waiting room. The entire visit, even billing, went smoothly. I appreciated and respected that only a few treatments were recommended. As for the benefits, I hesitate to say they were effective because I'm still recovering.

When I made the appointment, I explained that the driver's insurance was covering my claim. It wasn't until I arrived that I was told they would not bill the insurance company directly. I had to pay or bill my own insurance. Had I known this, I would have made other arrangements. Not only was I upset by the wasted trip, I didn't appreciate the way the staff talked to me. The receptionist stood with her hand on her hip and her tone and body language expressed that I could take it or leave it. Another concern that I had was that this chiropractor works with a lawyer, giving me the impression that he's unscrupulous. I'm glad that I walked because I found another chiropractor that billed the driver's insurance directly, had a wonderful receptionist, and said that I only needed a few treatments. At no point did she mention an attorney.

I went in with sciatica in my right hip. They did an xray, then treated it with electrical pulses, physical therapy, laser, exercise, massage and traction. It took a couple of months, but now it's all better. In addition, they offer the HCG diet (get high school skinny!), so I did that, too. I lost 33 lbs in 40 days and couldn't be happier. I received the HCG drops, weekly checkups, B-12 shots, blood tests, etc. Staff is friendly and the atmosphere is relaxed. I highly recommend them.

    Chiropractor Acupuncture & Nutrition Clinic
I had relief the very first day I visited Dr. Rodriguez. The pain was greatly reduced within hours of leaving his office and the foot numbness was practically gone by the third session. It was a weird sensation to have electrical needles inserted in my body, but the pain was neglible--except the needle inserted in the sole of my foot! However, Dr. Rodriquez gave me plenty of warning and told me it was necessary. By the 2nd visit, it didn't hurt nearly as bad the first time. He always asks if the electrical impulses are at the right level. It doesn't look like my insurance is going to cover the treatments, but Dr. Rodriguez worked out a payment plan with me, even reducing the per-session fee when I agreed to come in three times a week. However, he doesn't give a high-pressure sales pitch and let me know that I would probably be able to reduce the sessions to one a week in the near future. Don't expect a modern, well-lighted doctor's office when you visit the Chiropractic Acupuncture Nutrition Clinic. It's located in an old strip center with a modest sign over the door. But if you want a chiropractor who knows his stuff, is thorough and has a gentle bedside manner, Dr. Philip Rodriguez is your man. He recently moved into the clinic, so he may make physical improvements as time goes on. As of this writing, he does not have any staff, but he told me he is in the process of hiring some office help. But I could care less what the interior looks like or the lack of a receptionist at this point, as long as he keeps doing what he is doing!
