    Jared from Peak Roofing came by right on-time, we took a brief tour of my property and he went to work. This was just an estimate so I wasn't too sure what to expect. Luckily not much was found, just roof is old. Jared was able to detect a couple spots and even wrote (with Chalk) so I can see what he was talking about. With out asking he nailed down some flashing and even went around to caulk what he could. He provided me with a punch list along with about 80 pictures that he took. He walked me through each item and gave me his opinion and if "was his house" what would he do, along with things I could do myself.

    My story is basically the same as all of the other terrible reviews I have read about Lake Area Appliance Service : a HORRIBLE experience and no resolution. Our dishwasher recently stopped working (water wouldn't drain), so I called AHS to have someone come out, and they sent someone from this company. The guy spent a total of about 10-15 minutes at my house, and all he did was open the dishwasher, looked inside, and somehow determined (through a sixth sense, I suppose) that the main control board and pump were shorted out and that the motor was rusted. Those are all lies, since the dishwasher still powers on and runs fine (it just won't drain the water). As for the motor being "rusted" and his claim that he found a lot of rust on the bottom of the dishwasher, those are all false also. He never pulled the dishwasher out to examine anything, and I'm not a dishwasher "expert", but I DO have common sense, and I know I can make a pretty accurate assumption that you simply cannot diagnose a rusted motor without removing the standing water and disassembling certain parts to get access to the motor. Of course, just like with the other negative reviews, AHS refused to repair the dishwasher, claiming "the conditions were not normal wear and tear" and even cited "sitting in standing water" as the cause for the rust that was apparently found on the motor and underneath the dishwasher (and ultimately the supposed cause of the malfunction). I can't imagine they think I'm that dumb and that I wouldn't realize that what they claim is ridiculous. The dishwasher stopped draining water because either a part malfunctioned (drain valve, pump, etc) or because of a blockage somewhere. Why he didn't think to take out the water and check the filter or the hose or garbage disposal for blockages FIRST is beyond me. They ended up blaming me for the malfunction, as if I could somehow purposefully and negligently leave standing water in the dishwasher. The way he went about "diagnosing" is absolutely UNACCEPTABLE, UNPROFESSIONAL, and LAZY. They're doing to me what they have done to SO many other people, and they need to be stopped. AHS continues to defend them, and quite frankly, it doesn't make sense to me why they would continue sending out this company after all of the bad reviews. They are the WORST company I have ever dealt with, and I will make sure everyone knows that they are scamming people!

    Lone Star Fence Stain is great!! Jonathon was very communicative as to when he'd be there and what work would be done. We love the way our fence and deck look now that it has been stained, and we are crazy about our outside TV that they installed for us!

    Good, but bugs reappear every couple of weeks, need to find entry. Mice are a new problem. but can;t get garage door tight enuf. Unlimited trips for reasonable monthly fee. Worth every penny. Bagged 4 so far. I sure don't like critters on my turf!

    The initial contact and work with atlas went fine. They were prompt, professional, and seemed to do a good job. The problem came when the quote for the entire job was given. It was going to be $4000 on top of the initial bill, with potential to go higher. This seemed high and I got other opinions and quotes. I ended up paying $2500 to have the work done. I thought they were nice and professional, just too expensive.

    It went well! Brandon found items in the home that need fixing. He takes photos and reviews areas top to bottom of the home. Even though this listing featured updates done professionally, Brandon provides a final check prior to listing to prospective buyers which is much appreciated.

    If only there were a lower than "F" option....... They apparently, don't need your business. After taking our Oculus unit in to assess, they told us the would let us know by next day. Long story short, today starts week 3, and not only have we always had to be the ones to contact (or try to) them, they say that they "just can't get to it because of a backlog." They couldn't tell us that BEFORE we left it with them??? We don't exactly live close to them. They were chosen because of good reviews. No idea how they earned those, with our experience. Now, we have no fix, AND we've wasted at least 3 hours. We will be billing them OUR hourly wage for 3 hours!

    I can���t begin to tell you how pleased I am with the job done by Josh from Blue Collar Exteriors and Services. I had other bids where I felt I was being swayed to do what they said instead of being heard. Josh listened to my questions and addressed all my concerns. The finished product looks fantastic.     Ron was great! My wife and I met him on a Sunday afternoon, which is unusual. We had all our forms ready, and he had our return done an hour later. We didn't necessarily enjoy paying what we did in taxes, but that certainly wasn't his fault. We had a little trouble connecting with him via email, but we got together and got it over with quickly. We plan to use him again next year. We used Angies List coupon, and he even sent my daughter a referral reward.

    Contacted 4 companies on Angies List and two responded. I called Culbertson first and after speaking with Randy on the phone (easy to get ahold of too), I didn't bother calling the other company. You would think an antenna replacement wouldn't be that challenging but this one was, with a VERY steep pitched A-frame roof -- doubt Randy had a lot of fun on this one, but with a good sense of humor, got the job done with no complaints. TV mounted looks great too.
