My GP referred me for a max cardiac stress echo test and I scheduled an appointment with Dr. John Reuter at HeartPlace Baylor Plano. The test took approximately 2 hours and was very thorough. It started with a resting EKG and ultrasound imaging baseline of all aspects of my dynamically functioning heart (e.g., size, systolic/diastolic function, stroke volume, valve operation, etc.). This was then followed by a full stress echocardiogram treadmill test following the standard Bruce protocol (e.g., controlled/timed ramp up in treadmill speed and inclination while capturing heart rate, blood pressure, EKG, etc.). I am a competitive runner and I was able to get up to 174 beats/minute (well above projected maximum of 155 BPM for 65 year old male) before the test was terminated. Fortunately, everything checked out normal or better than normal actually with exception of a few PVC's (premature ventricular contractions) along the way. At the conclusion of the test, they conducted another ultrasound imaging sequence to see if there were any significant changes post-stress to the baseline test they had performed earlier and no abnormalities were noted. Dr. Reuter and his cardio-technician assistant were very thorough and professional throughout the entire procedure and they took the time to answer all of my many questions in great detail, which I greatly appreciated. I literally enjoyed the entire experience and left feeling like a new man and as a result, Dr. Reuter is now my official cardiologist!

Service is usually great, and you don't have to wait at all. The place is clean and children friendly. She is very caring, she listens very well and i would recommend a family member or friend anytime!

Dr. Harper's assistants are courteous, and it's rare that I have to wait more than 5+ minutes for the assistant or Dr. Harper to enter  the exam room. She actually listens and answers any questions I may have. I'm usually in and out in less than 30 minutes, but she's thorough and doesn't rush through the process. I also like the electronic medical records which allow me to complete forms in advance and retrieve them at home if needed.

Did not have to wait at all. Very friendly staff and nurse. Dr. Stock is very helpful and answered all of my questions. I never feel that she is rushing to the next patient. She doesn't give antibiotics unless they are really needed.

I woke up with a cast on my arm which I was shocked. I asked what had happened and if there were stitches. They took off the cast and come to find out I did not have a broken arm at all. Dr. Litke was surprised, that they had put a cast on an arm that wasn't broken.

I was very impressed with Dr. Rothbart. He exam and questioning were thorough with he gave me a very detailed opinion. His approach is conservative which I appreciated. The surgeon who first recommended surgery seemed to jump to that conclusion too quickly, in my opinion. He was also very pleasant and communicated well.

Medically great, listens well, responds to needs, if something isn't right he makes sure I am taken care of. Doesn't over react.
But I hate the Tea Party stuff that he posts on the office window. And he is the only one of our doctors that won't bill Aetna directly, even though our insurance doesn't care if he is in network or not. Our other doctors that are not in network do bill them and it saves time and reduces chances for errors. Instead we have to pay Brown's office and submit paperwork to Aetna and they reimburse us.

I called this morning and got an appointment just an hour and a half from the time of my call. When I got there, I filled out the necessary forms and x-rays were taken in office of both my knees. Shortly thereafter, Dr. Hamm came in and assessed my knee. Fortunately for me, I have only suffered a contusion. He recommended removing the fluid on my knee and administering a cortizone shot. I should be up and golfing again in a matter of days. All in all, it was a good experience and the outcome was certainly much better than I had feared. I will certainly share my experience with friends and go back to Dr. Hamm should the need arise again in the future.

I called for an appointment and was given a spot for the following week. The front office was very nice and my appointment was on time. The nurse took a complete assessment of my medical history. Dr. Torres was very personable and took his time in my evaluationial. He explained the steps that we needed to follow to establish a baseline and the potential next steps. He ordered a complete blood work which I completed the next day. My follow up was with the nurse practitioner, Mike. He literally spent about 30-35 minutes with me explaining all of my blood work and how I could improve in some areas. I was extremely satisfied with my experience and will continue to go this office. A++++++
