  • I called up and made an appointment. Branden came to make an estimate. He seemed knowledgable and gave me a feeling of trust. I fully expected the estimate to arrive in my e-mail that evening. When I did not hear from him, I sent an e-mail. Then I called, more than once. Then I finally I spoke to a person at his office. She put me on hold and then told me that she spoke to him and that I would get the estimate for the work that evening. (This was already about a week after I expected to get it.) It is now 11 days since I met Branden and I have not heard from him. In the meantime, I have had an insurance assessor and a mold assessor to the house. The mold assesor found mold that was readily apparent without any special skill or knowledge in over twice the area than Branden did. It just took moving a board that was leaning against the wall in the area adjeacent to the initial mold sighting, So even if I were to get the estimate from Branden, I know that it would be significantly flawed because he saw less than half of the visibly effected areas. I am currently seeking someone else to do the job.

  • RestoPros Mold Remediation crew was prompt, professional and efficient. The Rebuild contractors were just the opposite. They not only went through our personal items, including our fridge and laundry room, they also did a terrible job of rebuilding our home, and certainly didn't "restore it to its pre-loss condition." A couple of weeks after the job was completed, we noticed the following: 1) The paint on the doors they replaced started peeling off. 2) The paint on the walls they rebuilt started peeling. We also noticed they used what appears to be a chalky primer and not paint at all. 3) They hung one of the new doors improperly and it won't open and close correctly. 4) Another new door had deep scratches in the glass along the top. On February 21st, we took pictures and brought all of this up with the Contractor who did the work. We also brought it up with our RestoPros Sales/Account Rep. The Rep came out and looked at everything and agreed that the work done on our house was of poor quality and not up to RestoPros standards. Still, he did nothing to resolve the issue except put us back in touch with the contractor. The contractor gave us the runaround. He would schedule a time to come make the repairs and then not show up. These are the times we've attempted to contact him: May 8, May 17, June 6, June 14. These are the times they said they would come out, but stood us up: March 24 (no show), June 16 (no show), June 29 (no show). Nearly every time, we were the ones tracking down the contractor, contacting him, reminding him and then following up when he didn't show. The Sales/Account Reps at RestoPros are just as bad and unresponsive, even as we went higher up the chain of command. In our most recent interaction with the Director of Operations on July 11, 2017, he told us that they were "above max capacity" and that it would be another 2 to 3 weeks before they could get anyone out to fix the job. This is a job they should have completed in February. We are fed up with RestoPros and their horrible customer service. We've been attempting to resolve this for 5 months and are still getting nowhere. At this point, we wish they would just refund us the cost of the rebuild so we can hire someone else to get the job done right. **Update: the company came out and fixed what was incomplete and job has now been completed. 8/19/2017

  • Gerry Wall was very knowledgeable about mold.  He explained and showed us everything he was doing with the meter and camera.  I rate him as excellent.  It was a free test. (The duplex did not have mold.)

  • The results were back in three days as promised, Very friendly and professional staff on the phone who were very knowledgeable about mold and the removal protocol.  Would use them again.  I used their samples as a second opinion and their results matched the professional mold remediation company exactly.

  • I cannot not sing enough praises for this company. Bob Culley , the owner sat with me the first day to go over everything that would take place and explained what needed to be done.  My three grandbabies were coming in two weeks and my husband is weak with severe allergies and I was so worried about the remediation process. Bob stayed in contact with me every day on the progress and Teresa and all of the staff were very  friendly and courteous whenever I called about concerns or questions.  They wore protective suits and respirator masks, they kept the area very contained and kept the air scrubbers running the entire time.  They also let me keep the air scrubbers a couple extra days which I appreciated because of my grandkids and husband coming the following week and I wanted to make sure the air was healthy for them to breathe.  They took down every A/C register and hand cleaned each one, they painted the wooden studs with an antimicrobial sealer, they cleaned out the air ducts back to each AC unit (we have 3) and fogged the ducts and hand cleaned the entrance to the ducts.  When they were finished , everything was cleaned up and you could hardly tell they were ever there.  The price was very reasonable for everything they did.  They care about their clients and go the extra mile to make sure you are well taken care of.  If there was a grade higher than A+, that is what I would rate this company.

  • Dean was on time for appointment and professional in his inspection process. Afterward, he provided a comprehensive written report of all testing performed. I was very satisfied with his service and would use him again.

  • We had a leaking window that had mold build up inside our house. RestoPro evaluated the problem, and quickly scheduled the mold removal process. The process took a couple of days and there were air scrubbers in our house for about a week. The clean up was excellent. Mike answered all questions promptly and was always professional. We were very pleased with the overall experience.

  • John has been wonderful to work with. He was professional, prompt and diligent with excellent follow-up. We had guests complain of a musty smell in a beach condo. Some mold was discovered on a wall behind furniture where there was limited light and air circulation. John came in on short notice and took a swab of the affected area, then set up an industrial ozone machine to clean the air and kill any surface mold. He recommended a sensible treatment plan which included wiping the area with a mixed bleach solution, servicing the air conditioning unit, improving circulation and reducing humidity in the unit. The mold was identified as being the type most commonly found in homes everywhere. He determined that no major renovation was warranted based on the test results. The ozone treatment totally cleared the air and left the unit smelling fresh and clean. John made a special trip late at night to get everything done in time for our Memorial Day weekend guests. He kept us informed on the progress every step of the way. Our A/C contractor is making some modifications to that system to reduce the humidity level and we'll have John do another swab test when all work is completed. Before finding John on Angie's List, we had talked to several other "mold experts" who seemed to know every scare tactic in the books. Without taking any tests, they were quoting thousands of dollars in proposed repair and remediation costs and predicting scenarios that exist only in your worst nightmares. John was calm and straightforward in his approach and was not interested in selling or promoting unnecessary repairs. Although I hope I don't need John's services in the future, I wouldn't hesitate to call him if I do or to recommend him to others.

  • I bid three companies from Angie's list on the project.  RetoPros was the lowest of the three. They were not selected only on the low cost; Mike explained everything, was honest, down to earth & appeared to be a man of his word.  Not that the others were not those things but he was the best at instilling confidence in the work he would do & the end result.  They were prompt, efficient & good at communicating with me on the process.  Only one issue in that the guys disposed of the baseboards they removed & they were to be kept/re-used.  When I pointed that out to Mike, there was no discussion, he said he would replace them at his cost at the time required in the rebuild process....and he did.

  • I feel that Mike was fair, reasonable and professional. We were about to be bilked by another company for about 3 times the cost...and they were not addressing the underlying issue. Also, they did not use an independent assessor. I am understanding that the practice of hiring an independent assessor is the right way to go. Otherwise, where is the check and balance? I believe Mike is the real deal. Would I use him again? I am hoping I will never need to! But if ever the need arises with us or anyone we know...Mike will be the call!
