  This business gets an A++ nuclear-glowing good review from me. I called re their re-keying a HON filing cabinet, and instead of selling me a trip to our office, he asked if there was a key code on the lock (yes). So I went there and he made three keys for me for $14.50, when I had expected to pay someone 100-$120?. Has our business from now on!

  AJ arrived on time as promised. He asked all the questions that i would want a locksmith to ask to confirm the person seeking the service is the home owner. He reviewed all the door locks before he recommended the most cost effective way to proceed. He also made recommendations to the neighbor to prevent reoccurrence. I will definite call him if i need his service and will recommend him to all that needs a locksmith. He is available Sunday to Friday.

  These guys are a scam. DO NOT USE them. They boldly lie to you on the phone and then charge secret fees once they are onsite. When I tried to call back to talk to them about it they continuously hung up on me. Convenient. I was told it was a $15 trip fee then $35 for labor. I repeated "so a total of $50", the company confirmed and I gave them my address to come out. They got there spent 30 seconds unlocking the car door and now the total due was $92. Apparently the additional $42 was for the "tools" they had to use. These guys have no shame and are in the business to screw people over. Do not use them EVER!

  He arrived quickly, checked it, lubed it, tested it in several ways. And it works perfectly now. Probably something I could have done myself but since I wasn't certain what the problem was, I wanted a pro to check it in case things went south if I took it apart.. No a good idea to suddenly find yourself with no way to lock your door!

  I bought the Angie's List 4 re-keys for 115 package.  I needed more than 4 keys but the extra 12.50 seemed reasonable.  They arrived on time and were quick to get to work.  One of the outside doors needed to be picked in order to get it to work
  but I opted instead to replace the whole lock.  He handed me 4 keys instead of the normal two you get and I couldn't be happier.  He even tried to help me reprogram the coded quikset keypad they had on the house and when neither of us could get it to work did not charge me.   
  
  It's always great to work with people who tell you straight up what things cost and how long it will take.

  i called in a panic when my front door deadbolt cylinder failed.  All my keys were failing and I had given keys to others to enter the house for services and during my absence.  My call was after 4 PM.  David told me he would send a locksmith as early as possible, noting that it could begin after normal business hours or end after normal business hours, which could involve an after hours charge rate.
  As it turned out, the locksmith came before the end of business hours and replaced/fixed the cylinder and, after testing my remaining keys, I paid via card at a Angie's member discount rate.
  All is now calm and all the keys distributed to others remain usable.  I think Texas Safe and Lock for all aspects of their response and completion.
