DESCRIPTION OF WORK
AEGIS replaced my roof and at the first rainfall my roof and chimney were leaking like a sieve. The contractor had to come out to my house on several occasions to fix various problems. The last issue involved my chimney. When the contractor couldn't fix the problem without incurring too much expense, he said that the chimney wasn't covered under the warranty. When AEGIS replaced the roof, they had to lift the siding to install the shingles. On one side of the chimney they even tore the siding and left it badly damaged. They didn't replace the flashing on the remaining sides at all. The contractor knew my chimney was still leaking and just shook my hand and left. They now won't return my calls. Very nice people, but after the roof is replaced, you will be leaving a message on a machine.

I liked this guy.  He was recommended by my old insurance agent who said he was a straight shooter as they say.  I had some shingles ripped off that he replaced.   I talked to him a bit about the roof in general, which he inspected while he was up there; he advised that the roof was old but was not hail damaged enough to justify an insurance claim.   I like the fact that he didn't try to sell me a...
