It went very well. The crew arrived bright and early at 7:20! They were very careful digging out my flowers that needed to be removed. They put all the tools up at night. They left the job site clean when they finished, and moved all the furniture back in place. Melvin did a good job explaining the process as things progressed so we knew what to expect.

I want to say the quoted price was exactly what we paid. I was looking through the brochures that they left and I they seem like a real financially secure company that does a lot of these all over the country. If it wasn't a lifetime guarantee, it was something like 20 years and they were saying only 1% of piles they drive ever end up failing and need replacing so I'm sure all of that went in to my dad's decision to use them.

I think they did a pretty satisfactory job. I haven't heard my parents complain about it at all. Each house is going to be different for price because ours required about $1000 per whatever you call it that they stick in the ground. It's like a thousand for one of those and we only required 8 because only one side of our house was sinking. If someone's was worse, it could get a lot higher. If someone's wasn't as bad it could be a lot lower. They poured concrete and they leveled. Mainly the job was leveling the house. They ripped up a bunch of, like they took up a lot of the grass and dug giant holes. They would rip these holes out and install. They did a bunch of concrete work, used a bunch of jacks to build giant holes. It was pretty loud. There probably a crew of like like 6-8 of them. I guess you could call it excavating. They did the job right and my dad initially thought it was going to be a lot more expensive than they quoted us he was happy with it. What stood out was I thought is was pretty cool how they did it. I didn't realize that that was an issue until our front door opened and we had sunken. I thought it was interesting. They didn't stay longer, it didn't feel like that they were taking their time with it. They seemed efficient. Just kind of makes me mad at the original builders. They guy was saying it would have cost them $2000 dollars extra when they built the house to go down to the bedrock but instead they just went with what the code said and the code doesn't require them to go down to the bedrock and they tried to pinch as many pennies as they can. But it was interesting. I liked watching them work. I don't know much about the pricing but I know my dad thought it would be like $20,000 and it ended up being $8,000. I think they warranty it for like 20 years or so. I think they came and took some measurements, told us how many they thought were going be needed, gave us an estimate of how much it was going to cost, then scheduled the date and came the date they were supposed to come. Then they had a plumber come the next day. They told us they were going to send a plumber the next day to make sure nothing happened with our lines because house moving. They said the plumber would be there anytime between 8 and 12. They guy came right at 8. They kept their word that they were going to send the plumber. They didn't move around any of the dates. They're very respectful and stuff. They lets us watch them and explain exactly what was happening, you know, show us the measurements after it was done, how the house was level now and kind of just explain the whole process. I would say they were very professional and seem to know what they were doing. In the future, if I had a house that needed foundation work in Austin, I would stick with what I know, so I'd go with them for sure.

I got an appointment set quickly. They provided email and phone follow-ups. Kenny came out exactly on time. He performed a inspection of the exterior and explained all about the items that I had concerns about and how they were all just cosmetic. He used an electronic level to determine that the slab throughout the house was level within a 1/4 inch. He said that was very good and I had nothing to worry about. The hairline cracks are very common in home slabs. He did all this in about 30 min and was very personable and professional during the visit. Before he left he mentioned several telltale signs that if noticed in the future would be reason to call them back. Diagonal cracks above door corners (especially first floor doors), stairstepping cracks in brick mortar are a couple of them.

The engineers and administration weren't good. I found out that I had a discount at the end of the project when I had already paid and they said that they had already closed my account. They later gave me a discount  for the plumbing work because I used their plumbing company. The workers were good.

We first made contact with Centex in December. They sent a man out immediately to give estimate on a house we had recently purchased. His estimate was $5400  and the job ended up being $5300. He knew the work would be a few months out. He did let us know in January that any contract signed before Feb would honor current prices and that their would be an increase after that. We set the date. The men were out promptly at 8AM. The dug all of the needed holes on the first day. They covered all the holes with plywood and tarps before they left for the day. it rained heavily over night, they had to spend the first couple of hours pumping water out of the holes. They were very good about letting us know what was going every step of the way. After everything was done, all the dirt they had dug up, you couldn't tell they had dug up anything at all. They were very respectful of the property. we're very happy with the work and would definitely call on them again for any future foundation work needed.

I was very satisfied with Marco Franco.  He was professional and answered my questions with no problem.
We have tape that is coming loose in 2 rooms and a couple of cracks.  We have had foundation problems before, so we wanted to get the level readings at this time.

My husband and I had an offer accepted on a beautiful older home. The inspector was very concerned about 3 things 1) the roof, 2) numerous repaired cracks in the brick veneer and patches in the dry wall everywhere, and 3) virtually every surface inside had been painted the exact same color. He said we absolutely should not buy the home without having a foundation repair company or structural engineer looking at the house as it looked like someone had attempted to hide serious foundation issues or roof leaks. The roofer said there were no leaks, so we turned our attention to the foundation. Our realtor immediately recommended Centex despite another company having done repairs that were under warranty about 10 years before. When I called Centex, they initially couldn't come out until the afternoon our option period ended. When I told them that, they immediately worked with my realtor to find a time they could squeeze us in, all completely for free. Kenny came out and sent me an estimate within hours and included his personal cell phone to answer any questions we had. He patiently walked me through all my questions and concerns given that the estimate was well beyond what Centex indicates is on the high end. He explained the "consequences" or side effects of foundation repair. He even advised us to take into consideration how expensive potential plumbing repairs could be before we talk to the seller. This was important to me because a high estimate for repairs by Centex could easily be dismissed as the company trying to convince us to spend a lot of money with them. But Kenny had nothing to gain by advising us to get estimates from a plumber of our choosing. Unlike some reviews on here indicate, at no point did Centex attempt to hide just how expensive this would be. In fact, my experience was the opposite. Moreover, Kenny was up front about how long the repair would take, how long it would take to get started because this was their busiest time of the year, and that we needed to factor in extra time for other possible repairs. Centex of course didn't tell us what to do regarding the house. But Kenny made sure we had all the information we needed to make an informed decision based on the realistic costs of repairing the house. At no point did he or anyone else pressure us to sign a contract with them. We went with another house, but if I ever need foundation repair on this one, Centex will definitely be my first and only call regardless of how cheap anyone else can do it.

I was overwhelmed at the thought of repairing my foundation, but I knew immediately that I had chosen the right company in Quality.  Oliver came out to assess the problem, educate me on the process and give me an estimate that was very reasonable considering the amount of work that needed to be done.  Melvin led a crew that was clearly experienced and did all they could to preserve my property.  Their respect for my home was apparent and so appreciated.  When they finished it was a clean up like no other.  In fact it was hard to see that any work had taken place.  The engineer that inspected their work was highly complimentary saying he has never had to ask them to redo any part of their work. ... Offering that Melvin and his crew are real "pros"

I found Quality on Angie's List after other offers did not meet my expectations.  I joined the list in order to find the most recommended company with the highest reviews.  Indeed that's what happened.  I am so very pleased that I want to get the word out to everyone considering foundation repair that Quality is the ONLY company to consider.  Many thanks to Oliver, Melvin and the entire crew

It was done when they said it would be done.  They did it in a single day and there wasn't a single thing that was out of place when they were finished.  We were very pleased with the result.  They inspected after the work was completed.
