  • I have two Great Danes which tend to cost a lot to run, keep, feed, and vet bills. They are just very caring and lovable. They treat them like their own and they have given me so many breaks on cost trying to help me like when one of them got sick or something. So, they are very good people.

  • 14 years ago, when my shy, little puppy went right up to Sharon, when she came through the gate, I knew that I'd found the right person to trust with my furry child!

Since then, Clear Lake Pets have taken care of my boy, whenever I've had to go away, both short-term and, long-term. My dog loves going to stay with them and, always comes home tired and happy! I know they care for him as they would one of their own! And, now that my dog is getting older, it's good to know that Sharon has training and would be able to spot any potential problems with him. While I was working overseas, they also offered to help me with some logistics things back home, significantly reducing my away-from-home stress level!

I have recommended Clear Lake Pets to everyone I know, and will continue to take my pets to them, for as long as I live in Houston!

  • Regardless of the nature of my visit (and some have been heart wrenching), Tina is always there with a smile and kind words when I walk in the door. I like feeling comfortable at the vet's office, as I know it will put my animals at ease, too.
Dr Woody thoroughly examined my dog and assured me all she needed was an allergy shot and a change in diet.
Dr Woody spoke with me about the importance of feeding her a grain-free diet and the dangers of feeding my dogs inexpensive/cheaply made treats and pig's ears.
Side note: right after vet visit, I purchased grain-free dry food for my pets and guess what? Not only do they love it, they are no longer incessantly scratching/biting/chewing....
    Competitive pricing, honest services provided

  • We have depended on Spencer Animal Hospital for almost all of our vet needs and have received excellent care for our pets. The staff are courteous and helpful and the dedication of the doctors and nurses has been wonderful. We would highly recommend them for any veterinary services you may need.

  • I had a very positive experience with them. They're reasonably priced. They have 2 vets and one is not really a people person but they're very good with the animals. I don't feel like they price gouge so I'm very positive about them. I was very satisfied. My dog got well and I changed the way I feed him and he's been good. The main reason we use them is that we don't spend a fortune on animals and they are very reasonably priced. They're very pleasant. It's a very low in kind of office. It's not fancy. They got a regular old floors so when the dog poops there, they just get the mop out and clean it up. There's just bench all the way around the room. They have the animals on the leash. It's just a very simple low in as far as cost. They're probably not the best but not bad at all.

  • We have used Wuffy Walks for several years for our cats. Last month Ruth took care of them for a couple of weeks while we were in Europe. We had a last minute addition due to a rescued kitten. Ruth took it all in stride - giving the older cats attention, and spent time playing with the kitten as well. She would provide email updates during our trip, and we never had to worry about the kitten adjusting to his new home. I recommend Wuffy Walks wholeheartedly without reservation.

  • I have used Paw Prints in the past - and was somewhat pleased with the grooming she received at the Fairmont Location. So, when my usual groomer was not available, and I was in a rush to go out of town, I called Paw Prints to try them again. They have closed the Fairmont location, so I took my dog to the Pasadena Blvd location. I told the lady at the front desk that I wanted her a bit shorter, but not and quot;real short, and quot; as I like the puppy cut - fluffy all over, with straight legs. The groomer even came out and I went over it with her. When I picked her up a few hours later, I noticed that she was shorter than I wanted - I expressed that, but paid - even giving a tip - and left. Once I got home I realized just how bad the grooming was. Her fur all over was too short - uneven - and her face and eyes were not pristine as I am accustomed to. Also, the tail was not trimmed at all, but where the tail begins on her back, it was shaved about an inch all the way around! Really looked weird. I know that it will grow out; however, the worst part is that soon after she began to scratch really bad. She had fleas! She takes Trifexis once a month, and is always completely free of fleas, so they had to come from Paw Prints. I had to contact the vet and get a one-time pill of Capstar to give her, plus I've had to bathe her in oatmeal shampoo several times. She is still itching as the fleas die and fall off (from the Capstar). I don't want a refund, I just want people to know of the experience I had - and hopefully the owner will take a more pro-active roll in training and hiring quality groomers - and most importantly, rid the place of fleas! I will never use Paw Prints again.

  • We arrived right on time, but they were running a few minutes behind-just like a "regular" medical practice. We waited about fifteen minutes before being taken to an exam room, where Spock was weighed and had the basic exam functions done by a vet aid. Dr. Mangum came in a few minutes later and did his exam and administering the vaccines.

  • As anyone with pets knows, deciding what to do with your pets while you are away for an extended period of time is difficult. I know my 3 cats would be well-taken care of boarding at my vet's office, but they wouldn't be happy. Cats in particular like to stay in familiar surroundings. When I had to take a trip in late August, I called Ruth at Wuffy Walks. A former neighbor of mine had used her for dog-walking services and just raved about her, so I knew I'd be in good hands, and I was! Ruth came to my home to meet me and the cats and we discussed everything she would do for the cats while I was away. Since I don't free-feed my animals I had her come in three times a day to feed them, check the litter boxes, and provide some play-time. Ruth was AWESOME! She emailed me, sent pictures of the cats, and even sent me two videos of them interacting with her during feeding time! Ruth also left a daily log of what happened each day, which cat hid under the bed, which one came out to greet her, etc. I KNOW my cats were happy and well-cared for while I was away and that is worth everything to me! Ruth runs a professional business and is courteous and caring. I highly recommend her without reservation to anyone looking for pet-sitting services, and I will definitely be using her again. Thanks Ruth!!
